Writing of .mp3 files on a usb stick to a turntable. Any attempt to burn it on a disc of stick displays an error message

Hello! I'm experiecning issues play any file .wav using Windows Media Player. I get the following error message: "an audio codec is needed to play this file." (C00D10D1 error message).
I checked the web help and it states that "...". the DSP Group true speech (22) codec is not installed on your computer. "After Google-ing for help, I downloaded the"AC3 Filter"but no luck yet.
My machine is running Vista.
Any help is appreciated!

When I try to watch a movie downloaded (from Ares.com) using Windows Media Player 11, I get an error C00D10D1 (samr) Sorenson Adaptive Multi-Rate Audio Codec code. The error message you get is due to missing codecs for Windows Media Player.
Follow the steps below to re-register l3codeca.acm file.
1. click on start and then type the following command and press ENTER:
Regsvr32.exe l3codeca.acm
2. open Windows Media Player and see if the problem is resolved.
If the steps above does not work, then follow these steps:
1. open "Computer", and then navigate to the following location:
C:\Windows\System32\
2. find the file with the name l3codeca.acm and rename it to l3codeca.bak
3. open Windows Media Player and click Help, and then click updates.
Note: cela re - download the decoder and place a new copy on your system.
