C410 all-in-one: C410 printer will not print, scan or fax
Printer worked OK as connected wireless device.
Had to change router broadband BT (simple job) on PCs and phones simply connected again AP and work.
The PRINTER went into the menu printer > network settings > used the... secure configuration button enabled on the router and the printer advises connection very well and show the maximum signal strength.
Trying to print and it shows disconnected...
Used HP Solution Center - shows disconnected
Used HP print & scan doctor... He concludes printer right way... but don't connect advises there lack of software.
I click to install missing software - it embeds a Panel (it looks like the original install CD) but the justifications not continue with anything so not sure what to do, there is no button fix.,.
I select USB wireless, thought option that can make it work again... taken in a USB first - after about 10 minutes of him do in step 6/8 then advises cannot connect.
It should have been really simple - printer connects to the new WiFi and it should be.
Anyone no matter what suggestions - or is this yet another abduction all the and reinstall.
After hours of fun trying to operate, including the page after the help page
Followed by HP Center diagnoses and the stand-alone HP print & scan doctor - even removed all printers PC... not good.
Software HP saw printer, but told me that he couldn't communicate!
I didn't change the WiFi router... on other WiFi devices, just selected new AP and they worked... HP seem to make life very difficult on WiFi.

Make sure that your print spooler service is started.At this point, on your computer, check the status of the print spooler service. Restart the print spooler services.a. Click Start, type services.msc and press ENTER.
b. scroll down to print spooler.
c. start the print spooler service.
PULLING MY HAIR OUT and have spent endless hours trying to figure this one already, so any advice will be appreciated! This 'deal' of a printer had problems in time over the 18 months or so I got it, but this one takes the cake. My HP Pavilion 6140, Windows 7, 64-bit, isn't wireless, but is connected to a router. My 309 a is wireless, but is in the same room near my computer and is recognized on the network. My husband's computer is sitting across from home in his office and can print wireless from my printer. Sitting here beside him, I can't print anything. We were able to print test pages from it to my computer, but if I go to another file of any type of printing, the printer does nothing. We have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried drivers d/l. He tells us that we need a driver, but when we go to d/l, it says no driver needed, or your drivers are up to date. My crazy husband DID with the router last weekend, on the moment cela everything has started, but since he checked it out, and everything seems fine. Copy the scanner work very well, so printing them isn't a problem either. I can save a file from my computer to the network, run in there and shoot to the top of this file and send it to my printer to print. No problem. So, can anyone please give me any suggestions as to why my computer is unable to send anything to the printer or the printer does not recognize. Control Panel says it all works well, and the printer is ready. If I go into the properties of the computer, it says "drivers for this device are not installed, code 28. We had other messages of error as well in recent days, but nothing has been solved little matter what we do. Also MY computer doesn't list MY printer in the choice IF I try to print, and it says "printer unknown error has occurred."
HardBeatZ, I wanted to just say a last thank you for all your help with my computer/printer problems. I hope I won't need this forum in the near future, because once again, I had to choose a different password. Yikes! In any case, we've been on all the roller coaster of emotions these past few weeks. Once you and I spread the printer as being the problem, we have debated on buying a new computer or reload Windows. After shopping and comparison of computers and prices see on them, etc., we decided that we had nothing to lose. So we borrowed an external drive and loaded important data and reinstalled Windows. Once we did that, we could still see the printer on the network, and it would still print from her husband's computer, but not mine. However, it DOES not seem to take care of other issues, and the dreaded exclamation point next to the PC icon has disappeared, so I'm gutsy and reinstalled the printer. For some reason, it still does not work wireless from my computer (which he always did), but I plugged the USB cable and returned to printing, scanning and faxing capabilities. so, I hope that all is well now, and except for paying ridiculous shipping for return monitor (still in warranty) which is released before printer problems, we did not have to shell out the $$$ for computer or printer. Monitor is shipped to me right now, so here's hoping that $$ on shipping was not in vain. Now if only we could be repaid in $$$ for the moment, concern and effort we all time put them into this mess. It WAS definitely a learning experience, even if, in the future, that I'll be a lot less worried to the excavation to solve problems. Thanks again for your time and patience.
some emails will not print. I unplugged the printer - still does not print. also, these emails do not fit into the page - have to landscape.
Assuming that you have installed the full function of the printer software, it is probably not the printer to blame.
Full software features:
File name: AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 5.exe
The browser you use to view the emails aren't always the settings you need (for example, Page Setup to adjust the size / width Fit).
The browser or program may be missing parameters in order to translate something that the printer can understand the content. Strange fonts or images in the content is a possible cause of printing email problems.
Chrome provides little in the way of the configurations - a singularity in the browser Chrome as it shows on my system Windows 10 Pro:
Chrome > open web page > settings > print > additional settings >
Most of the content of the page (to print) does not appear on the preview screen.
Click on the graphics to UNCHECK > click again to CHECK the graphics >
and the graphics and the text finally appear as expected...
- Try another browser to open the email
- If not using a Navigator > check the print settings in the e-mail program, you use
- If all else fails, download / Snipcontent, save and print the data as an image

Hello, I'm setting up my office of engaged couples to my HP DESKJET 3050 ALL-IN-ONE J611 a series. It is said that he only supports the other windows, windows 8 not being is not one of them. Two are wireless and I thought that there must be a way to download a software that I can install in order to connect to this computer. Please any help I could get would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem that other messages that I have seen posted - my black ink will not print
You can try to unlock the black cartridge using a cotton swab soaked in hot water.
Turn the printer off by removing the power cable.
Remove the black cartridge & you we see a wire mesh DAB gently with the Q-Tip.
A cleanup operation between attempts.
My C4780 will not install on my computer laptop dv7. I downloaded the current software on the HP site and tried to use the disc that came with the printer. In both cases, that the installation program begins to run, goes through four steps and when it is installing updates, it disappears from the screen. I do not understand that because it has been installed and operating at once through my wireless network and still work on my desk. I totally uninstalled all the software before you try to reinstall. I even checked to ensure that the appropriate records were in place after not install for the first time. I went through this about six or eight times, try different things each time. I also disabled my antivirus (Panda Cloud AV) and that made no difference. At this point, I'm out of ideas and really need help. I also read some relevant posts in this forum without good results. I need help in the worst way! Thanks in advance for any help.
Sorry it took so long to get back but things have been hectic. I really believe that my problem was one or more files that are damaged somewhere, so I took the easy way and installed Windows 10. After that I installed the printer and everything is fine now. But I really appreciate your help.
So I bought a new printer (HP Deskjet 1510 all-in-One help) my Windows 8 Acer laptop, but it won't install. I tried the disc and online, I tried the help-majig trick but it won't install, when it says 'Install impossible' I click on details but it just comes up with "Installation Failed"... I tried multipul times, upluged absolutely everything and rebooted my computer, but nothing happened.
Right click on the usb printing support in Device Manager and you get an option to update the drivers,
Please select this option, it should update the usb drivers.
Just downloaded updated software/driver for Windows 7 64-bit because of this message when you try to view the log of faxes: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqmfc11.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or support software provider. ' Error message box is labeled hposfx08.exe - bad Image. Computer will not read the original CD that was installed on the Windows XP computer. Update has not fixed the problem. What should I do? I can't tell whether or not a Fax has been sent.
You can print the scan log from the printer it self.
Press SETUP > print report > Fax Log.
If you want to print the Confiramtion then try steps below...
Press SETUP > print report > Fax of Confirmation : send and receive
Press SETUP > print report > Fax error report : send and receive

Although I work for HP my messages and responses are mine.
I reinstalled and hardware (scanner) is recognized but will not give the ability to scan. I use Windows 7 32-bit but also windows virtual XP. This problem has been uninstigated. Does not work under XP 7 or virtual.
I found this document which indicates the front button functions are limited in Windows 7, so if you try to scan form, it just will not work. I also found this document which shows you all the different ways that you can scan with Windows 7. Hope these helps.
My scanner used to work on my vista machine, now it does not work. When you try to open the center of solutions for my photosmart c7180 all in one i get an unrecognized message just after a momentary flash of the starting solution Center screen.
What is the complete error message you get?
Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

2. make sure that the printer spooler is set to automatic, steps to set the service to automatic
i. click on start and type services.msc in the search box
II. search for the Printer Spooler service
III. right-click on the service
IV. If the service is stopped and then starts the service
v. Select Properties
VI. and in startup type, select automatic

I have owned this printer for a year and a half and have had little problems with it. When I inserted a new ink cartridge, it wouldn't print an alignment page. The display shows "load plain white paper on tray and press OK", I did. When I pressed OK, it says "printing" but made no sounds and nothing print. I tried the reset of the printer, the printer and the print spooler reset, cleaning, but nothing works. I can print other documents, but he always wonder to print a page of alignment first of all, that it refuses to print. I am at one loss for what else to do. Help?
My first thought would be to do a firmware update, but there is not an update for this printer. It is not really a power problem since you are able to print any other documents.
You could try a reset by unplugging the power cord directly from the back of the printer when the printer is always on, and then disconnect the other end of the power cord. Wait a minute and plug the power cord directly into a wall socket (not a surge protector or battery backup) and then again in the printer.
If there is no change, you might take a look at the following links and if you see a step not taken, that give a try.

All the drivers seem to be installed correctly, however when it comes to woreless NIC, it won't load. I tried all the drivers available on the HP support page. The software loads and then stops. No error message, the program is complete without the driver.
Alllllrighty. It was the question. On the HP website, the Intel network driver is not for a wireless network card. However, when I installed the wireless drivers Intel for xx70-xx75 Elitebook series, it loaded correctly.
