Your current printer will not support ePrint.

You can learn more about ePrint to the HP ePrintCenter website at www.hpeprintcenter.com.  There is a link on the home page to find out more about web printers connected.

No, it's only one USB printer, while the ePrint feature is available for network printers.

Only models listed below are supported by the HP ePrint feature:

  • Color Laserjet MFP476: mfp476 - supports eprint or not?

The software supplied with this printer MFP 476 all-in-one multifunction laser says I can use it to access the eprint features.  But when I try to use this software it does not list this printer as one who takes in charge eprint.  Does anyone know what I need to do?

It turns out that the MFP476 is support eprint, but none of the controls you mentioned is available on my printer.  Instead, trying other commands and options, I finally found the eprint option.  Support on the eprint line does not yet list my printer that has the feature, so that it becomes impossible to download some eprint associated documentation and other.

Since you're an HP employee, let me turn on my biggest gripe on HP products.  It is a criticism that I have communicated for years, but apparently my gripes go through a wormhole to the HP because you guys never change.

Here's the problem: all your products work differently, even if they do similar functions, and to an end user, this is an extremelyt situation of frustration.  For example, I'm lucky to have five different HP printers in my small home office, not to mention the three I replaced with new ones, and each of them is different in terms of: how to tell you how much toner/ink rest, how tell you if there are features such as eprint, you assign to their place for two-sided printing, how you tell them to scan how access you it from a computer (and this works differently on PC and Mac), etc.  I got the idea that HP is really a cottage industry - a bunch of small fiefdoms that make their own similar products and who refuse to come together to provide things like uniform user interfaces.

What you need to do is what than some of your competitors don't: they have a unique software that allows you to access one of their printers of this one program and allows you to check the level of toner, print, scan, etc., using the same commands of this program software.  The program will also tell you all printers (their brand) connected to your network or your computer - a really nice feature.  With HP, I have to learn a new set of commands each time that I have set up a new printer.  And recognizes any of the software in more than one of the printers, so I have to remind what software to use for the printer. (I understand why each printer has its own unique toner or ink cartridges - it is to fend off the third-party - but it makes no sense whatsoever to have each printer work differently with regard to the kind of things that I mentioned above.)

If you never become CEO of HP, I hope that maybe you will address my concern.  I have little hope that anyone else in the company can do.

    Sincerely, Dennis J. Frailey

  • Photosmart Premium C309g: Support ePrint?

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart Premium C309g printer. This printer supports the new ePrint feature? The printer installed a few days ago a new firmware and a report printed after installation. I looked in the settings menu of the printer, but I couldn't find any setting ePrint.

  • ePrint support Office Jet 6310

EPrint supports Officejet 6310 and 6400?

    Hi Jflafont,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you would like to know if the 6310 Officejet and Officejet 6400 have support ePrint.

These printers do not have the ePrint service.   I have included a document that lists what HP printers support different mobile printing options.

  • How can I get the ePrint android app to print on the correct printer?

My home network is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909 connected to the network wired (not wireless), and which is NOT active ePrint (I understand it does not support ePrint).

The network also has a HP OfficeJet 7500 has yet once connected to the network by wire (not wireless) and what ePrint IS activated.

Both printers are on my network 192.168.1.x behind a router, but not a proxy with separate IP addresses.

If I send a print by the 7500 ePrint a email address, he goes out on the printer correct (7500).

But If I print using the HP ePrint home & Biz Android app that shows to the 7500 a print out immediately on the 8500 - the incorrect printer. The app shows the type of printer as 8500, although she still bears the name of 7500 a correct.

    So I have 3 questions:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

I like the idea that it is possible to reach the 8500 and 7500 a remotely (when I discovered ePrint after buying the 7500 a I checked if the 8500 supported that to find it does not work). But, if I wanted to keep accidental remote printing to the 8500 then...

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).
    2. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

Thanks for the tips you may have.

    Kevin

Hi, I would like to try and answer your questions to the best of my ability:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

With the printed file you want displayed in the app, you must see the details of the printer at the bottom of the screen on your device. If the printer you want to print to is not presented, you can press the arrow to the right of the name of the printer and then select the printer at the top of the next screen. It will automatically search and find printers available on your network. Choose the printer you wish to print and it will update the printer selected at the time of printing. I've included a few screen shots of what it will look like

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to print on the 8500 email. The printer must have the ability of ePrint in order to be able to do this.

    1. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

See the answer to the first question

If this does not solve your problem you can try to install the HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility tool to check that nothing is wrong with your network printers

  • How can I uninstall ePrint from my computer?

I downloaded ePrint for Windows 8, and now I can't print. It's ridiculous! My printer is a HP Laserjet P1006 and when I try to print a document, my printer don't even show up as an option. My printer does not support ePrint. I want things to what they used to be. I'm really angry at this and HP to ruin it. Please someone help me. I need to uninstall my computer ePrint.

    @eprintsucks

If HP ePrint does not appear in your uninstall a program window, then follow these instructions:

    1. open the file devices and printers.

    2. right click on the HP ePrint printer > in the context menu, click on remove the instrument.

3 highlight any other printer in the folder > go to the taskbar Albums > click Properties of the print server

    4. the Print Server Properties dialog box opens. Click the Ports tab.

    5. click on change driver settings (lower-left box) > find driver HP ePrint. (screenshot of shooting the two steps)

    5. click on remove > remove Driver and package dialog box will open > click on remove driver and Driver Package.

This should complete the uninstall for you.
