C4585 two printers on the same wireless network?

I have a C4585 work well on our wireless network, but I want to add a second identical printer on another floor.

Most of our laptops running XP, running Vista. What should we do to add the second C4585 to our wireless network?

Thanks in advance for your advice, TonyC

Okay, I think that you will need to add the second printer to a PC that does not already have the installed software (uninstall it if that's what it takes). Download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support and driver" link at the top of this page, choose a network installation.

Now, two printers are on the network and you can use the 'add a device' on all of them to add the second printer.

I have two HP printers on my wireless network. First HP Deskjet 3520 (installed for a few years). The second HP OfficeJet 3830 (new). Two software printer installed on the same computer from HP Desktop running Windows 10-64 bit.

Two printers put in place for wireless operation. Questions: the 3830 analyse, said the software is not installed (I am online for drivers and installed everything except the photo software.) After the scan does not work, I went back online and installed all the software, but it still says the softwar not installed. Having two printers the problem? Should I uninstall the old 3520? Any help would be appreciated.

Best I can tell by looking at the installation packages, two software are not in conflict with one another, in other words, it should be possible to connect two printers.

Check that both printers do not seek to use the same IP address - to connect to your router and check the list of attached devices.

If you wish, you can assign a static IP address for each printer.

Make sure that the Direct wireless is not enabled at the same time as you try to use a standard wireless connection. (Using a router) wireless standard and Direct wireless are not compatible, that is, they cannot be activated / used at the same time.

If you do NOT directly use wireless:

Toggle the Direct wireless (on the printer) to ensure that it is effectively disabled - it might be lying to you. Toggle start / STOP to make sure that it is actually DISABLED.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: two printers on the same remote network model will not be printed, but local will be

I have two furniture stores that are run on a windows sbs2012. Recently, both off my all in printers are down in the same week. The first was at the location where the server is actually housed. I bought a HP Officejet 8610 and managed to put in place without problem a lot via a wired network connection. So I decided since who went to buy the same model for my remote which is also connected, but it has a wireless access point. I was not able to get anything to print from my main software called profit systems. I can get things to print to the shared remote drive. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but even if connected as long as administrator I get a error that reads "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I put it up as both just and redirected network and it shows it as ready in the State, but after it clears the queue that nothing prints. I checked firewall settings and all with HP is checked on. I'm pretty computer but I am full of ideas. Help, please!

So after that I lost two days of my time and more than two hours of my time of I.T. guys it came to our attention that the driver IS NOT SUPPORT this model of HP JO 8610 redirected remote office printing! HP really, really? So we have to install the driver 8600 on the server and local computers to get things to print. Problem solved, but it's just sad that this was the problem.

  • How can I connect my netbook to the printer on the same wireless network?

My home wireless network is well established and includes a wireless printer. I'm usin my HP netbook now and for the purposes of the internet, it is connected to the same wireless network. However, I can't the netbook to detect the wireless printer so that I can install it. Help, please. Thank you

It is often easier - especially with the HP printers - to launch the installation CD for the printer to the new computer and let the installation program find the printer for you. (But I forgot... your netbook is not a CD player.) You could try to copy the files from the printer installation CD - if you have a CD, a USB key and use it to install the printer.)

I support this. HP drivers to connect to printers more easily when you allow the installation of the driver detect the printer. I had several HP devices and their installation is smooth when I do that.

  • I can't save my disc XP running iwndows 7 in the same wireless network.

the PC running windows 7 won't allow me to backup on it from another pc running windows xp. Both are in a wireless network. Another computer on the network running windows xp can back up fine.

Sorry, the only case I know not regarding this error is if you try to use Microsoft Backup to make a backup on a CD or DVD drive.

Because you said that another XP box can do a backup to the same location in the Windows 7 box, I assume that you do not attempt to use a CD/DVD drive.

  • What happens when two computers call the same code stored in networked storage?

We have our code on the network storage and have worked on a single computer code. We have now replicated our configuration and want to use the same code to run the new installation to another computer. We want to run simultaneously both configurations (both using the same storage networking code). Will there be conflicts here, or both computers load their own copy of the vi to run from? I must say that we do not have global variables.

I am interested in the answer to this question anyway, but I'd be happy to hear any suggestions (or even critical) on how to do what we do.

You should seriously consider a source control system, which is the best solution here. This gives you an original copy of the code on the network. Each computer retrieves the latest revision of the source control, make a copy on the local disk. Source control keeps a good backup and allows you to track and compare the versions or to return to the old code, when something breaks.

I'm fairly certain that you can open the same screw that is stored on a network drive on multiple computers simultaneously. Global variables are not relevant here. Each computer is independently responsible for the screw in memory. The problem is if edit you and save the VI on a computer while it is open on another, and if you make changes on both at the same time, will certainly lose you some of her edits and could possibly corrupt your VI and lose all, that's why you should use a source code control system.

If you have the request of the manufacturer, I recommend your building code in an application. You can store the network application if you want and run it on multiple computers.

  • Can't see the available wireless networks

I bought a new router (netgear300) and tried to connect to it. For some reason any would connect to my computer, but it has not been through the modem, so I uninstalled the network card and reinstalled and rebooted the computer. Now, I do not see the wireless networks available and cannot connect to anything. I tried to download the readers online, connect to the network manually, but nothing seems to work. I get 3 error messages when I try. They are; 1 reset your wireless, 2 network adapter. the NIC "atheros ar5007 802. 11 b / g wifi adapter "known issues of pilot or related equipment, 3. Make sure that the internet protocol bindings are correct. I did all the and still nothing seems to work, and I still don't see the available wireless networks. Nothing has had this problem before? My laptop is a compaq presario f700 model. I am currently using windows vista Home premium and have the cd of windows 7 Professional, but I don't know if the upgrade with this question will repair or remain the same. Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hi Mattcreatr,

1 can connect to the router with other machines?

    Step 1:

Make sure you have the latest NETWORK adapter drivers installed.

Also, see if there is a software that goes along with the drivers. If so, get the latest version of this as well.

    Update drivers: recommended links

    Step 2;

Also, see if there is a software that goes along with the drivers. If so, download the recent plus version and that as well.

Also, make sure that the wireless adapter is turned on.

    a. Click Start, type network and sharing in the search box Center start and press ENTER.

    b. click on change adapter settings.

    c. right click on the connection, and then select activate.

    Step 3:

Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a restore point where you do not experience the problem and check.

Start your computer in safe mode

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To run the system restore, you can consult the following link:

  • Several Tunnels with the same distance network & destination in cryptographic maps

This maybe a newbie question, but I don't have production systems and don't really have a way to test our properly. We have an ASA 5520 with several tunnels from site to site. We already have a tunnel with one of the remote networks in 10.100.90.14. We have this IP on a subnet configured as remote network and the destination address in the card encryption. We also exempt rules NAT in place for our local network with the 10.100.90.14 address as the destination.

We have another tunnel that must be built and who will have a different address peer, but that requires a large number of subnets and at least we'll have the same remote network/destination address in the map encryption and VPN tunnel that we already have in place.

Is this possible to do with a tunnel of site to another without a static or dynamic NAT to a different IP address?

I know, with physical networks, that it is impossible because of the static routes that are in place, but with the ipsec tunnels I'm not sure how it works, and as mentioned, I'm not able to test it.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Bill

The acl crypto map defines interesting traffic. If you have the same destination IP address, IE. 10.100.90.14 then if the source IE. the IP address of the client on your network is identical for the two tunnels, then no, it won't work and you will need to make some sort of NAT for one of the tunnels.
