C4780 wireless with windows 2000

Hello

I recently got the c4780 all-in-one. It's great to work wireless with my win xp computer. However, I got an old laptop victory 2000, which I want to use for printing the aswell c4780 wireless.

I know that HP is not officially compatible win 2000, but is it possible that I can make it work?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it is. Go to the Printers folder and select Add a printer. Select local printer and create a TCP\IP port to the IP address of the printer. Now select the printer as the HP Deskjet 990c driver, and you should be able to print.

    Hello

This laptop model has been tested only with the Windows XP operating system and it is not supported with Windows 2000. Sorry, but you won't find any display driver for this device on the Toshiba site. The only way is to try to find a driver on the site of the producer graphic CAD.

My guess is that the .NET component is not present on the pc of w2k.

    is it compatible?

    Hello

So it is a bussines unit should not be on this Forum, but I checked the spec online and found this:

    Minimum system requirements

Microsoft® Windows® 7, Windows Vista®: processor 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM (2 GB for 64 - bit); Windows® XP Home Edition, Windows® XP Professional: processor 1.3 GHz, 512 MB RAM; For all systems: 450 MB of available space on the hard drive, USB 1.1 port or higher, CD-ROM drive, SVGA 1024 x 768, 16-bit color monitor

So that would mean "no sound is not compatible with windows 2000"

All drivers are in and there is nothing in Device Manager is listed as unmanned, the wireless client shows the connection to my router, but ipconfig shows that there is no link at all.

  • Satellite 2770 - problems with Windows 2000 display driver

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite 2770 and Windows 2000 is installed. If I am wrong the S2770 there graphics S3 Savage IX/MV, and I downloaded the Windows 2000 driver on the S3 site but it wont not be recognized by the hardware detection.

Then I tried the Windows on the Toshiba site 95SE driver, but Windows 2000 acept used it because it is not suitable for Windows 2000 as it seems.

What should do? is there a Windows 2000 driver out there that works? I don't want to work at 640 x 480 and 16 colors for ever!

    Hello

You are absolutely right. Your device has the graphics card S3 Savage IX8 but the problem is that your camera comes with the WinME operating system. This means that there is no support for other operating systems. All drivers are designed separately for each laptop model and the OS. The only way to solve this problem is to install the driver provided by the producer of the graphic card. If this does not work, you have a big problem.

Sorry, but I don't really know what you can do. Maybe you can try to install the driver designed for Sam 2750. There are the same graphics card, but the driver is designed for Win98SE.

  • Printing problems wireless with Windows 7 Home Premium

Previously, I had Window Vista downloaded on my laptop and had NO problem printing wireless. Now I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I have a modem from my phone company, a wireless router and a Photosmart All printer (C4795).  The same one I had with Vista.  I just can't get anything to print UNLESS I connect a USB cable from my laptop to my printer (very frustrating). I'm not completely PC illiterate, but not very clever of them either. I uninstalled and reinstall the printer, the router and the modem and that did not help. I had the company of phone on the phone for an hour last night and they could not help and saw nothing wrong with my set up. I need an answer "simply stated and clear" what I have to do. I have a group RESIDENTIAL network set up on my computer, but have not set upt the other computers at home (a laptop) with the network home for the moment. I wanted to get a computer is working correctly before moving forward. The internet connection to the HOMEGROUP network seems to be well. All devices are listed and look good, but I can not just wireless printer that's why I brought the first wireless printer.

  • VCB with Windows 2000 Server before and after! Does not!

In our configuration (esx3.5, vi2.5 and vcb 1.5) we have problems get the pre post scripts running in Windows 2000 Server. It does not at all pre/start scripts. We need this because we have some strange databases that must be stopped before the snapshot and started after.

The 2000 machine is fully updated, and the esx servers are updated 4.

I also tried in a test environment with esx3i fully updated (beyond update 4) and vcb1.1

Pre-Post controls work perfectly in 2003 (not yet tested in 2008).

    What I tried:

    • Disable-ing the SyncDriver (must be a solution for Server 2000 with Exchange 2000)

    • Place scripts to a location different (C:\WINNT or C:\Windows or C:\Program VMware Tools\backupScripts.d

    • Adding C:\Program VMware Tools\backupScripts.d to the $PATH variable so that the script can be run from anywhere

    • Reinstall the VMWare tools.

The command I used to get the backup:

    v h vcbMounter.exe *. n u .local \n*-ipaddr:vcbtest. .local - r c:\vcb\vcbtest-full-01 t m nbd fullvm

    I also tried adding the switch "0 q" or "q 1".

No solutions seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

It works for me with a C:\Windows folder (even if windows is installed in C:\winnt),
