C50D-A-13W (PSCGWE) satellite crashes during playback of video files

Hello

my laptop stops during playback of flash (like youtube or facebook videos) files, and then there is a blue screen with a sad face and the following text: "(atikmdag.sys) system_thread_exception_not_handled.
my system is windows 8.1 and I already reinstalled the display driver (I used this one: http://www.toshiba.de/innovation/dow...jsp?service=DE)

There is no virus or maleware on the laptop.

Thanks for the help!

atikmdag.sys is part of the ATI graphics card driver...

I think that the problem is caused by the graphics card... probably the ATI driver is the reason why the BSOD appears...

The laptop was not equipped with a dedicated GPU, but the graphics card part of the Kabini A4-5000 AMD processor AMD Radeon HD 8330 done graphics card

Perhaps you could uninstall this driver and install a new update...

  • Sticks of video during playback of video files on Satellite P200-144

I updated my BIOS and Nvidia driver and now video sticks when I play any type of video file. I get any player I use - WMP or VLC. It seems to me that the video driver is the problem, as the files play fine on my old A100 for 4 years!

Its a bit of a disappointment when you spend A £1000 on a laptop and film jump!
    Ideas anyone?

    Andy

    Hello

Maybe you should first do a restore of the drivers to see if it s really driver related. If so, try this one:

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
(But please READ the FAQ before doing anything!)

Otherwise I recommend you to download a pack of codecs like k - lite and try again (www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm)

  • Could do audio or video during playback of video file into Windows Movie Maker.

Original title: problems using Windows Movie Maker.

I have a HP Pavilion p6310f desktop computer and I created a movie using about 16 short mpeg files. However, there are no audio or video when I play the individual files in the preview window, and when I try to play the movie, the program crashes. What could be the cause of the problem?

Reset did not help, either. Should I convert the MPEG to AVI files? I read somewhere that might help.

Give it a try. It won't hurt.

There is a free video Downloader for Firefox. Make sure that you have installed, then download the video directly from YouTube.

Always choose the best quality video, in this way, you will get audio.

BTW, if download you a file with flv extension, use VLC to watch, WMP can not read this type of file from the box, you need a plugin.

    See you soon,.

  • Premiere Pro CC (V.8.0) slow and crashes during playback

    Question:

Premiere Pro CC (V.8.0) extremely slow and crashes during playback. My video will not play unless I make (which is not a problem). I made all my clips and try to read. It usually allow me to watch the first time around. After that, the program hangs or becomes extremely slow. I even had a blank green screen pop up on my screen. Sometimes, the program will generate the message "a serious error has occurred" and stop. Other times, the program just locks himself. I'm not under all programs except by email.

    Here is what I tried:

    Cleared all my cache files

The value of my reading of mercury 'software only '.

After doing the above, restarted the program and the computer.

Don't made sure I had no RGB curves effect (as I saw it was a question of other threads)

    Remove all unused images

Delete all files rendering and a new rendering.

I'm editing of images requiring a Ultra key. I use a Three-Way color corrector. My video is not even 1 minute long, so I think it would be easy return and reading.
