C5580 all-in-one disconnects - error on screen numbers a

Computer desktop running XP, all updates installed. Installed printer 2009, ran well until the fall of 2013. Running print and scan of the doctor. All OK is displayed.

When get us the printer running and leave it on standby or turn it off for the night, it will often not be recognized by the computer when it is used again, but sometimes will start up to flashing lights and numbers on the screen (B8159A32) or (B0226500). Often the message say disconnect power and wait 10 seconds before connecting again.

It only connects by USB cable to the computer. Changed the cable and the connected ports to different on the computer. Has made no difference... HELP... dmac948

Hi dmac948,

I understand that you have a Photosmart C5580 which is giving you a few numbered odd and disconnection errors. I will definitely do my best to help you with this.

Numbered errors that you see are errors of the firmware. They are basically indicating that the brain of your printer is on his way out the door. There is nothing to do with this well because there is no update available for your printer firmware. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure your printer is connected directly to a wall outlet to make sure that the printer has all the power, he needs.

Once arrived at the point where it is not possible to deal with this issue any more, I would say that you call HP Technical Support for your sector and inquire about trade and trade program.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

Since the light started to Flash the entire printer has not worked. Can someone please HELP! : womansad:

Well, if you haven't tried this and then create a coercive power reset:

Do not activate the wide (although you can), remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn on the printer. If that clears up the flashing light/white screen, then try printing etc...

If this is not the case, see if something visible is originally the error state such as paper jam, odd items in the printer, nothing fancy. Also try to plug the printer directly into the wall outlet as opposed to a look/power surge Strip, or even try a Jack in another room if it is not successful.

I recommend you to perform a power reset the printer.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  • Quality of printing on my HP Photosmart C5580 all in one is not very good

    Hello

My parents have a HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one printer.  Their old computer was running XP and the printer printed beautiful photo (using HP Photo paper).  The recently buy a new computer that is running Windows 7.  They called me after that that they got rid of their old computer XP.

The problem is that the HP C5580 is no longer made a good job of photo printing.   I have been in their house and they owe me that the use of the printer to print then we have printed a new photo to the printer (which was horrible).  I then downloaded the latest drivers for Windows 7 from HP, installed and reprinted the image.

The XP computer disappeared, so I've no idea what program they used to print photos.  I used Picas (latest version) to view and print the pictures on Windows 7.

The new photos are very washed out. They remind me of the photos printed on the ink jet printer initially on plain paper.  They are not photographs.

Anyone have any ideas to improve the quality of the photos?  If it is a better program than Picasa we should use to print the photo?  Is there a way to caliabrate the printer?

    Thank you

    Dennis

Hi Dennis you have posted on the discussion of the ePrint/Mobile Forum so I'll ask that your post moved to the Printing Board Issues & troubleshooting in the hope that you receive relevant responses. In the meantime, I suggest that you check the ink levels in the supplies in the printer and print a diagnostic. You should be able to get it out in the printing software HP you have downloaded or directly from the front panel of the printer. If ink, levels are low in all of the test color cartridges to see if that solves the look "washed out" prints.

    Good luck.

    Hi @dorcase,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed your post that you found the error fax 346 with your HP Officejet 8710 printer all-in-one. I'm happy to help you!

This error means that the remote machine (person you send) responded to a fax on the local computer command because the connection has been lost. These errors can occur if the phone lines in the region to be faxed are old or there is noise (static on the telephone line). Other reasons can include power outages and other problems related to food.

New attempt to receive faxes when telephone line conditions improved. Call phone provider if the driving conditions fail to improve.

  • Using Lenovo C540 all-in-one as a second screen

I recently bought two computers, a laptop Asus desktop Lenovo C540 all-in-One touchscreen, Windows 8 and Windows touch, 8.

The issue I'm facing is to attempt to use the Lenovo as the 2nd screen to the laptop. Is this possible with an all-in-one device since it is not a stand-alone monitor? If so, how would I go on this subject?

I tried just to plug in an HDMI cable between the two and go in the options screen 2, but which have resulted in nothing.

    Hi Bushy808,

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

I checked the C540 details and the HDMI on the back is only for HDMI output

The unit is has a HDMI to display an external device on its screen.

  • DeskJet 2542 all-in-one: parse error message prints well

I kept getting this error trying to scan a document for the first time.

"An error occurred all in communicating with the device. Please check that the device is correctly connected and powered. »

To make sure that the printer is connected I printed a pdf on file on the computer and managed.

I installed from the given CD and I intalled software on the HP site that grew to my specific operating system OS X 10.9.  I checked my firewall and allowed him to be opened for printer sharing.  I restarted my modem wifi network, I restarted the computer, and I restarted the printer.  I have reset my printers and reselected this printer... which is the only printer that was available for selection.  The computer recognizes the printer completely, however it just keeps giving me the message quoted above for scanning.

Hello @Elochin and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I understand that you are having problems of scanning.  I would like to help!

You have problems, make a copy?

I have a few steps, I recommend you:

I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

I also run your Apple updates: OS x: Mac App Store apps and OS X update

  • OfficeJet 6300 all-in-One, the error message which is print cartridge is open

I use my all-in-one HP Officejet 6300 as a standalone Copier, because he's too old to install it on my Windows 7. Now, I get the error message that the print cartridge door is open. I can't find any door open but can not use the machine until I get rid of this message.

I solved my problem by placing a heavy book on top of the printer. Apparaently, something is a little out of place and the book guard door is closed properly. Not a very technical solution, but it worked for me
