Cable keyboard disconnected Windows XP - how to make the computer recognize the keyboard reconnected?
Yesterday, I accidentally unplugged my keyboard on my Windows XP tour. After power off, I reconnected the mouse and rear power receives an error message: "Keyboard Error press F1 to continue or F2 to enter Setup...". »
The problem is that the computer does not recognize my 'F1' or my 'F2 '.
How can I get running with a connected keyboard?
Thank you in advance!
John deCoville
My keyboard and mouse both have the same type of connectors...
Just guess but is it possible that connect you the keyboard to the wrong connector?

need vista in windows vista 64-bit upgrade Express dvd, but can't without a yellow sticker? is - this saposed to be somewhere on my pc? or on the vista cd case? and how to make the upgrade without the sticker?
32-bit to 64-bit is NOT an upgrade path.
It must be done with a clean installation using a Vista FULL 64-bit disk/license.
Buy a version of disk/license FULL Vista 64 bits of your local computer, or online store: amazon, newegg, etc.

How to make the window disappears after minimize instead of becoming the output of the image?
How to make the window disappears after minimize instead of becoming the output of the image?
Hi Sam,
This issue may have caused due to infection by the virus or system files missing or damaged or because of the corruption of the user profiles. I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.
1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
2. do you get any error code or error message while starting?
3. have you checked if the problem occurs on a different user account?
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.
Method 1:
Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there is any threat of viruses found.
Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. During these 10 days, it will remove all the files infected by the virus and records. I suggest you create a backup of your data, and then install Microsoft Safety Scanner.
Method 2:
Run the System File Checker scan and check if it helps. This will help you to find and replace missing or damaged system files.
See the following article from Microsoft Support to run the System File Checker.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us
Method 3:
If you have not checked if the problem occurs on a different user account are not, then try again to create a new user account and check if the problem persists. This is to check if the problem is caused due to the corruption of user profiles or not.
See the following article from Microsoft Help to create a new user account.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/create-user-account#create-user-account=Windows-7
If the problem does not persist in the new user account, then try the steps in the following article from Microsoft Help to fix the damaged user profile.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=Windows-7
Please reply with the status of the issue so that we can better help you.

Flashing
Hi RaDiCal007,
Microsoft has removed the option host connection icon network; apparently drain you resources. Like you, I prefer much the icon 'flashing '.

ConcerningHello kopn,.
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.
The icon for your internet connection, but the animation and the color associated with the network icon in Vista and earlier versions is no design in Windows 7.

How to make the icons of programs appears on the screen of windows 8
Hi Thunderlight, you helped me with my last request and thank you again now I have another question that you might be able to help me with. How to make the icons of programs appears on my screen of windows 8? I had to download the debut8 when I had windows 8 so I would have the appearance of windows 7 until I have to use Windows 8. And some of my icons of windows 7 on my windows 8, but not all. How to go on my windows screen 8 tiles? I now get more usage of windows 8 and use it more now so would like all my original programs that I had with windows 7 on my windows 8 as it is now tile. I thank you and hope you can help.
Hi Laura,
In theory, when you switch from an earlier version of Windows to Windows 8 - as your installed applications are kept by the upgrade process, except those who are not compatible - you should find all your apps in Windows 8.
If they all do not appear on your start screen follow these steps to pin them there:
- [Win] + C
- Search
- Click anywhere in the top middle of the screen to hide the charm bar
All installed applications are displayed. They do not necessarily correspond on a single screen to use the horizontal "lift" to bottom of the screen to move to the right / left
- Right-click on an application, you want to pin to the start screen
- Click on Pin to Start at the bottom left of the screen
You are finished. A mosaic of this application is available on the start screen.
If there is an application, you are sure is installed on your PC and you don't think through the steps made me know - there will be more complex...
If you install a new application under Windows 8 the corresponding tile is automatically added to your start screen.
Hope this helps
See you soon

Make sure that you create a Working Group. Do not create a homegroup, which
can only be used with Windows 7 computers.

There is an available for installation of SP3 Cd
Manually installing SP3 using the Microsoft Download Center or a CD
If you have problems to receive the service pack from Windows Update, you can download SP3 as a standalone package from the Microsoft Download Center Web site, and then install SP3 manually. The installation package is intended for it professionals and developers, but you can always download and install this file.
You can also order a CD from Microsoft containing SP3. For more information, go to the Microsoft site.
To manually install SP3 using the standalone package installation or CDDo one of the following:
If you downloaded SP3 from the Web site, to install it immediately, click Open or run and follow the instructions on the screen. To install the program later, click on save and download the file to install it on your computer. When you are ready to install the service pack, double-click the file.
If you install SP3 from the Service Pack 3 CD, insert the disc into your computer with your current version of Windows XP running, and Software Update Installation Wizard should appear automatically. If this wizard does not appear, click Start, double-click my computer, click on your CD or DVD drive and then click AutoPlay.
