Caching of javascript ADF libraries

Hey,.

Currently we are cached our files css and js custom Apache (for X hours) level.

We do this based on the path (which is < path > /style/ < other directories >) and it works fine.

Now my question is can we do for specific js libraries 'internal' ADF (located in adf/jsLibs /) without breaking all the features?

JDev 11.1.2.3.0 (which runs from 11.1.2.4.0 at the end of the year)

Instead of ADF faces using myFaces

You don't need to do anything, ADF implements cache internal javascript and CSS styles automatically during about a year.

  • Problem with the use of the ADF libraries

    JHeadstart version: version 11.1.1.5.27

JDeveloper version: Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.7.0

    Scenario of

I'm trying to build an application using ADF libraries like below:

Common code - extension of framework classes

    CommonUI - LOV hides, etc...

Common model - ADFBC all entity objects

Several subsystems (view controller 'helper' projects)

    Main view controller project

I have created libraries according to the guide of FMW and have imported correctly into the relevant model projects and view controller.  In JDeveloper, I can see the libraries OK and able to build my screens without any problem using JHeadstart.  All of the subsystems are managed independently, i.e. I used JAG to create my application and can run the autonomous subsystems.  The problem comes from the main view controller project.  I have imported successfully all libraries in the project of main view controller and you can see all the controls data from libraries in the navigation Application in JDeveloper.  According to the JHeadstart user guide, I imported the NLS library by beams and have modified the JHeadstartApplicationDefinition.xml file to include my libraries (all names and paths are 100% correct).  Now when I run the JAG, it removes all the ServiceDefinitionRef I added to my library.  When I run the application crashes and JDeveloper reports the following error:

    "oracle.jbo.JboException: Houston-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.ConfigException, msg = Houston-33005: Configuration DgmUC003ServiceLocal cannot be found."

"Caused by: oracle.jbo.ConfigException: ADFContext Houston-29114 is not configured to process this exception messages." Use the code of exception stack trace and error to investigate the root cause of this exception. Root cause error code is Houston-33005. Error messages settings are {0 = DgmUC003ServiceLocal} ".

DgmUC003ServiceLocal is one of my libraries.

    Can anyone help.

I tried many things to fix this, but cannot find an answer.

Interestingly, I once managed to recognize a library (I removed all but one subsystem libraries) and it worked.  When you use the JAG, it not to overwrite my amendment to the JHeadstartApplicationDefinition.xml of the file but when I added a library more he still replaced my amendment and gave the above error for the new library.

It was the JHeadstartApplicationDefinition.xml file before execution of JAG:

    < ServiceDefinitionRef location = "MasterServiceServiceDefinition.xml" name = "MasterService" / > "

    "< Any ServiceDefinitionRef ="true"name ="UC003Service"location ="... /... /.. /DgmUC003/UC003View/properties/DgmUC003ServiceServiceDefinition.xml"/ >

    "< Any ServiceDefinitionRef ="true"name ="sdService"location ="... /... /.. /SD/sdView/properties/sdServiceServiceDefinition.xml"/ >

That's what it was after completing JAG:

    < ServiceDefinitionRef location = "MasterServiceServiceDefinition.xml" name = "MasterService" / > "

    "< Any ServiceDefinitionRef ="true"name ="UC003Service"location ="... /... /.. /DgmUC003/UC003View/properties/DgmUC003ServiceServiceDefinition.xml"/ >

He removed the 2nd entry of library?, wouldn't not and gives the following error:

"oracle.jbo.JboException: Houston-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.ConfigException, msg = Houston-33005: Configuration sdServiceLocal cannot be found."

It's very frustrating, I followed all the instructions to the letter.  I would not expect a very simple thing like that does not work.  Any help, greatly appreciated pointers.

    Thank you Trevor.

    Hi Paul,.

My apologies for not updating this thread earlier.

The good news is that it has been resolved, the issue seems to be with JDeveloper and not JHeadstart (or maybe just a combination of the two).  That's what I do:

    1. Edit the file JHeadstartApplicationDefinition.xml
    2. Reconstruction/compile the project (in JDeveloper which is Alt - F9)
    3. Do a "save everything" (belt and suspenders, probably not necessary as reconstruction not save)
    4. Output JDeveloper (close, file-> exit)
    5. Restart JDeveloper
    6. Run the JAG (the new library names entered in step 1 are NOT replaced)

This workflow has worked 100% flawless, I don't know what closure JDeveloper is but it works.

I also now always close JDeveloper after importation of new libraries in my main view controller project because I think it's also a question, perhaps all related.

I hope it works for you.

  • Dependencies of ADF libraries in unresolved 12.2.1.0.0

I work in the ADF since 11g.

In the previous version when I add a library shared the ADF to the project, that add the ADF library dependencies.

After upgrading to the new version 12.2.1.0.0. This does not work, then I get compilation errors.

    Example:

    1 SharedComponents

    Dependencies:

    Deploy:

    sharedComponents.jar

    2. commune

    Dependencies:

    sharedComponents.jar

    Deploy:

    .jar

    3 MyApp

    Dependencies:

    .jar

In previous versions, when I put le.jar, it resolves dependencies libraries ADF, sharedcomponents.jar added. In the version present this is not works, then to fix I need to add to the MyApp dependencies on libraries of the adf ('sharedcomponents.jar', '.jar')

There is a current SR for this problem. If you have a valid support contract, you can watch Bug 22456256 and open your own SR mentioning this bug.

The solution is to include the dependent libraries manually to the project.

  • ADF libraries dependencies

    Hello

    JDev 11.1.2.4

My request is based on several workspaces.

    Toolbox has guava as a dependency-> ToolBox.jar

CustomComponents has guava, deep cloning (3rd party clone lib), ToolBox.jar as dependencies-> CustomComponents.jar

Common a guava, ToolBox.jar and CustomComponents.jar as dependencies

I have in my common workspace, select the model project and click the refresh icon. A new ADF_Library_Dependencies.library file is generated by JDev.

    The content is:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF - 8"? >

    < JLibraryNode nselem = "JLibraryNode" class = "oracle.jdeveloper.library.JLibraryNode" deployedByDefault = "true" xmlns =" " http://xmlns.Oracle.com/JDeveloper/110000jlibrarynode "> "

    < classPath >

    < entries >

    "< item path ="... /... / lib/cloning-1.8.5.jar ' jar-entry = "" / > ".

    "< item path ="... /... / lib/objenesis-1.2.jar ' jar-entry = "" / > ".

    < / input >

    < / classPath >

    < docPath / >

    < locked > true < / locked >

    Dependencies libraries ADF < name > < / name >

    < sourcePath / >

    < / JLibraryNode >

and in the Panel of the message log I get:

These elements of ADF library jar are now in Model.jpr

    {

    file:/C:/Home/framework/trunk/toolbox/toolbox/deploy/Toolbox.jar

    file:/C:/Home/framework/trunk/customcomponents/customcomponents/deploy/customcomponents.jar

These are in the project as a result of your jar ADF imports:

    Cloning de.../CustomComponents/CustomComponents/CustomComponents.jpr

    }

Why this file is generated? How to disable?

    Thank you

    The ADF_Library_Dependencies.library

is automatically created by jdev if you add a library that is dependent on an another lib that you currently not in the class path. This also happens if you refresh the project, jdev them checks the dependencies and adds missing the ADF_Library_Dependencies.library jar.

To get rid of the library, you can only add the missing pots in one of your libraries one and add this lib to your libraries and the class path.

  • Problem installing 11.1.2.4.0 ADF libraries on stand-alone Weblogic 10.3.6

    Hello world

I was really struggling for the last week to install the latest patches to use ADF 11.1.2.4.0 on Weblogic 10.3.6.

I install a new server Weblogic on Solaris 11.1.  I followed Note 1328698.1 , step by step and everything seemed

install without errors.  When you try to deploy a simple application of the ADF (just a button, with no model project), I get noclassdeffound MapProxyServlet class.  I have

get the same error when you try to run 'EM.

If I look in the tasks, I can see that the class exists in the DVT - faces.jar.

If I add all the libraries of the ADF to my ADF project, everything is fine, as expected.

Please help me with any direction on this issue.

    Thank you!

    Chris

Sorry, no, I do not use Solaris, I use Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.4. So you might found a bug in the solaris patches.

You should ask management to check this. You have no problem to install 11.1.2.3.0 in Solaris, I assume that something is wrong.

Yes, the web service is ideal to address things like that.

    Have fun.

  • Is it legal to deploy to Tomcat ADF libraries?

    Hello
I've seen some messages that describe decouple ADF of Weblogic and deploy libraries to other app servers. As I knew him, ADF is free, but not open source. So, is it illegal to deploy on Tomcat?
    Thank you

You're wrong that ADF is free.

  • Importer ADF libraries - reuse and conflicts?

    JDeveloper 12.1.2

I am designing applications for re-use and want to be sure that I won't put my apps during the conflict.  So far, I've created:

    1. an application from adfUtils called xxxADFUtils.  It has all the usual suspects in the Java code (you guessed it, ADFUtils, JSFUtils and a number of code java House that I use frequently).

    2. a model

    3. the demand for labor

    4. an application with a taskflow to be used as a region within the main application.  This application is the xxxADFUtils library since it requires the common code.

Of the main Application, I now add request 4 - the workflow.  I noticed that I am now able to reference the xxxADFUtils.

Later, I intend to add another application that will reference the xxxADFUtils.

My question is this.  If I import the xxxADFUtils (code share) in the model, the main application and all other applications that contain workflows - will there be a conflict?

You can add imported libraries if necessary or should pay you close attention to their implementation to avoid conflicts, as you do with the file naming conventions.

    Thank you

    Stuart

It should not be conflicts. The library will only be in the final artifact once. Taskflows who use the library even have no problem, as long as the library is the same version (has the same methods with the same signature).

  • Cannot use yahoomail in firefox, but can in chrome. clear cache etc, javascript must be enabled, United Nations-and-re-installed firefox... still the same

The yahoo mail page appears as normal, but the buttons on top are missing and I can't open an email even if recent emails are there right in front of me. Have tried everything I can but its still the same. Works fine on Chrome so Im using it, but I liked Firefox.

Hmm. It could be a corrupted file that was replaced. Please report your last post as solved while others will know.

  • Share libraries of the ADF in the development environment

We use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1 on Windows and Linux workstations.

Is it possible to access shared ADF libraries using a Connection of URL in the range of resources? When I create a login URL to the location of the URL of our libraries, I see no library file.
All of the documentation I have read refers to creating a connection to file system, but this does not work well when some users use Linux as their desktop. In this case, we cannot class paths to match.

No focus on simplifying access to the libraries of the ADF during development would be appreciated.

    Thank you

We use two approaches to reference libraries of the ADF during development.

    (a) with the help of a shared network folder and JDeveloper all workspaces are directed towards it. We use Hudson automatic library updating whenever a SVN change is a reality.
    (b) developers use scripts ojdeploy or maven to generate dependencies themselves.

Both approaches have strengths and weaknesses, so a choice is a matter of specific development environment,

    Hope this helps,

  • Last updated broken ctrl + f5 refresh of the cache javascript?

I'm a developer working with Javascript. Firefox updated the 28 or 29 of this week (I've also updated to 50.0.2 after I found this problem, but the problem persists). Since this update is no longer refreshes the cache of javascript when I press ctrl + f5 or ctrl + shift + r. I can get to refresh the open developer window (and set caching not in the settings), but clearly something broken, at least in my browser, with one of the most recent updates. Is there something I can do to fix this or is this a known bug?

Hmm, normally, I would check the recovery of files using the tools of the Developer Network Monitor section. I don't know how to check without open development tools. Do you use the words: page cache, or just find the incomplete/incorrect script compared to what you have recorded the last?

Looks like you have some problem with glassfish classpath (so he chose an incorrect version of groovy jar) or with the version of the JDK.

To verify which version of the JDK is used for your glassfish domain and also install essentials new adf libraries (make sure they are for 12.1.3 version)

  • Clear cache Table Filter

You can clear the cache of the Adf Table filter during navigation?

    example:

I page1 and page2, I want to clear the filter of the table while browsing on page 2, it is possible?

What do you mean by filter is saved?

When a new page is loaded filter is always empty, but if you apply the filter on one table to--> go to next page--> still go back to the first only then you will see the table filter values

So for that you must delete the filter from the table when you navigate to another page

Check - Blog of Ashish Awasthi (Jdev/ADF): claire af:table filter programmaticallty filter table 12 c (ADF) of discount

    Is there another problem?

  • Oracle ADF: How to develop a web application to adf with a team of 10 members

Hello, we need to develop a web application using Oracle ADF and jdeveloper 12 c. It is a great project as we develop this application with a team of members of dimension 10. Our doubts, this is how we can develop a web application using a team.

Suppose we have 10 modules. Each module was developed by each Member (each Member is using a different system with the same environment. JDeveloper 12 c). Finally to develop all 10 modules how we can combine all 10 modules in a single application. How we can change the links, the page flow and connection details.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

ADF is built for the development team. Features such as the ADF libraries, bounded task flows and nested application modules allow developers to work on separate parts of the project and then merge them into a single application.

Follow the video that Timo has pointed out and read the section of the documentation on reusable components: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/adf/develop/adf-web-component-reuse.htm#ADFFD1846

Regarding version control (and track tasks, make automated etc generations) - an option to consider is the Cloud Oracle Developer Service.

Here is a demonstration of how you team management version on that app JDev/ADF: by using the Service of Cloud Oracle Developer for Git version for JDeveloper/ADF apps management

  • DataControls to consume the application and the library working individually ADF

    Hi all

    need advice.

    JDev 11.1.2.4

    Integrated WebLogic

    My requirement:

I want to create a reusable component that I can use in different applications. This reusable component must have a table ADF wherein I can do CRUD operations based on an input value.

For this I created an ADF with stubborn taskflow application that has input parameters.

I created the EO, the VO and her I'm in the model layer and controls using data, I created the table of the ADF inside the stubborn taskflow jsff page.

I have a method call before the page to make the pre treatment.

I created the ADF of Jar file library of the ViewController project with the release of generation of model project.

I added this ADF Lib pot file to the consumer through the range of resources demand.

Usage application has its own control Module of the Application data.

So now, in the consumer application, I can see the two data controls, second in the ADF lib pot.

I have a page in the application consumer with two things,

    1. a form I created using the control data of the Application Module consumes,

    2. a table I created using the taskflow bounded as a region of ADF library Jar file,

Now am not able to save the form data and the table using the data control consume Application Module validation operation. Using individual validation operations, they work. Having said that, that my request has two working both datacontrols that says two transactions.

My question is, if the approach I took for my requirement is correct or not. If not, please give me the right to another approach help me with the solution to my problem.

Please let me know if you want more details.

    Thank you

    BSBhat.

If you do not want to use individual validation operations then you must use 'management of the transaction ADF task flows', you can define under options on your narrow-minded taskflow and test your usecase.

-> set Transaction "always start the new transaction.

-> set Taskflowreturn component > behavior > final commit Transaction property.

This will take care of transactions for the AM of the same application and AM of the ADF libraries.

    I hope this helps.
