  • How to set up a html link to open in a new window outside the PDF?

    I did a lot of research and can't find an answer to this dilemma. I create press releases for my employer's Web site in InDesign, and then export to PDF format. They appear as icons on the "news page" of our site, that the user clicks to open and read. Each PR links to different pages on our site, but I want that these links to open in a new browser window so that the user can still read the PR. I understand that this option is not available in InDesign PDF export, but I can change the link in Acrobat X, then save again? If so, how?

    You have more than one action associated with the binding? If you just add the JavaScript action and did not remove the pre-existing action "open a web link", you will get what you see. Also, what browser are you using?

  • Since the update files now open in a new window and pinned tabs open all in the folder.

    Since the last update, now instead of simply to open a new page in the same tab when I click on a link, it opens a new tab. I also have a pinned favorite links folder, before I just click on it and scroll down to my link desired, since the update whenever I click on the folder, it just opens it in the folder. How can I fix it and God good, why cannot it be an option that stops updates to immediately change the previous settings like this done.

    I scrolled the basic options and couldn't find any way to address these changes, there are now very few options for tabs and pins.

    Yes problem seems to have resolved this self, probably a problem of update or something.

  • Web site opens in a new window but has no scroll bar

    Hello
    I am a new user, so I'm not yet fully aware of the use of Firefox.

    I use http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/ site several times a day. The site is in general more often perfectly OK, but one of the links I use all the time doesn't behave in a usable way. The link on the home page is:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/market_data/ticker/markets/default.stm, which opens in a new window without scroll bars. Can I relative to the size of the window, but not enough to display the entire contents.

    If I use the address of the link in a new tab, everything works fine and the scroll bars are present.

    I'm migrating from the Opera browser and opera, when I use the embedded link, it opens a new window, but it has the current scroll bars.

    Is this a Firefox problem, or maybe the site is at the origin of this problem - I could not guess who.

    BTW, the website of the BBC is based, and for users not UK, it can be used completely different pages.

    I looked through a bunch of FF options, but so far have not found anything that could be applied to the problem.

    IMO, this website is too small size of popup windows setting, don't leave enough room for the content of the page when the viewer zoom in the page.

    You can disable this feature this preference by typing about: config.

    DOM.disable_window_move_resize

    Double-click this preference to activate to true.

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/about:config

    Change dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars true will replace Web site to hide scroll bars.

  • Open in a new tab and open in a new window have been inverted, how to restore?

    I was pleased to see that I have connected today that Firefox has a update is ready. I was even more excited when I heard that the browser itself has been updated. And while all these new and exciting things make a surprising choice for a Firefox browser, im at my wits end on this little change which is annoying the hell out of me.

    Apparently between 3.6 and the new Firefox, when you right click on a link, you will see open in a new window to the place where has been opened in a new tab. This may not seem like a big deal, but a person who has been opening the windows to tabs for the tabbed browsing came out, I hate having multiple windows open.

    When I right click on a link, its an automatic reflex for me to open it in a new tab, but now I can't. Whenever I end up opening a window instead. Y at - it an easy solution to this little problem that drives me crazy?

  • Bookmark links opening in a new window

    Hi all

    I have a document that has several links to pages in the document.  Each of these pages are bookmarked.  Is there anyway to have these pages open in a new window when the user clicks on the link rather than taken to this page and click on the 'return to the previous view' button to return.

    Thank you

    I don't think that it is possible. Links within a file will always open in

    the same window.

  • How can I make a specific page open in a new window when you click on a menu?

    Don't know if its possible, but I have a specific page, I want to open in a new window in the browser when you click on to leave a menu widget.  I know not how to go and mount the coding, but it would be nice if there is an option in Muse for this already.  Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

    ryanj4799 You'll need to change the Menu Type of manual in the options of the widget and add you links. Then go in the hyperlinks Panel. Check the option open in a new tab/window.

  • [SOLVED] ADF 11G: open PDF in new window

    Hello, I use JDev 11.1.1.2.
    I have a page in a workflow associated with a PivotTable and a 'print 'button'.
    I use Jasper report to create a PDF document.
    I would like this document to open in a new window when the user clicks the button.
    I have read several discussions/blogs to do this, but it does not work.

    Here's the code for my button:
    < af:commandButton text = 'print '.
    ID = "cb1" useWindow = "true".
    action = "#{viewScope.myBean.goReport} '"
    windowHeight = "400" windowWidth = "800."
    immediate = "true" / >

    where viewScope.myBean.goReport returns ' dialogue: goReport.

    Here is the code that I use to create my PDF file:
    Create a PDF exporter
    ByteArrayOutputStream byteArrayOutputStream = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    JasperExportManager.exportReportToPdfStream (printing, byteArrayOutputStream);
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    ExternalContext ectx = context.getExternalContext ();
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) ectx.getResponse ();
    ServletOutputStream out = response.getOutputStream ();
    response.setHeader ("Cache-Control" "max - age = 0");
    response.setHeader ("Content-Disposition", "inline; filename = Report.pdf");
    response.setContentType("application/pdf");
    response.setContentLength ((New Long (userInfoBean.getReportStream () .length)) .intValue ());
    out. Write (byteArrayOutputStream.toByteArray ());
    out. Flush();
    out. Close();
    context.responseComplete ();

    In my workflow encompassing that contains the page I have:
    < id = 'report' view >
    /report/report.jspx < page > < / print this page >
    < / view >

    < of-activity-id > * < /-activity-id >
    < control-flow-case id = "__1" >
    < result id = "__2" > dialogue: goReport < / de-results >
    <-activity-id id = "__3" > report < / to-activity-id >
    < / control-flow-case >

    My report.jspx file I have just a white page attached to a bean to support:
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "windows-1252'?" " >
    < jsp:root xmlns:jsp = "http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version = "2.1".
    xmlns:f = "http://java.sun.com/jsf/core".
    xmlns:h = "http://java.sun.com/jsf/html".
    xmlns:af = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich" >
    < jsp:directive.page contentType = text/html"; charset = windows-1252 "/ >
    < f: view >
    < af:document id = binding = "#{"d1"backingBeanScope.backing_report_bean.d1}" >
    < af:form id = binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_report_bean.f1"f1"}" > < / af:form >
    < / af:document >
    < / f: view >
    <!--oracle-jdev-comment:auto-binding-backing-bean-name:backing_report_bean-->
    < / jsp:root >

    I can't get the PDF document to open it in a new window

    If I put only "dialogue: goReport" in the action attribute of button, I managed to have a blank page open.
    I have I have a link 'viewScope.myBean.goReport' method which returns the "dialogue: goReport" and contains the code for PDF creation to action button that I have the PDF document that appear, but in the active window.
    I tried to put my PDF creation in an actionListener to launchListener code, returnListener, but I still have my PDF document in the window being opened.

    I don't know that I do something wrong because it appears that others have found a way to do it, but I'm lost right now.
    Can someone help me on this pls.

  • RSS of opening in a new window

    I would appreciate some help and assistance re RSS.

    I work on some web pages and would like to add an RSS feed for them.

    I decided to use a service called ' feeddigest.com (www.feedigest.com/). They offer five free flow and that is more than enough for me. The display is converted to php which, I understand, allows the engine to search read the.

    The code they provide is delivered in the following format.

    <? PHP
    include ("" http://app.feeddigest.com/digest3/feed-name.html ");
    ? >

    So far so good. The code works great, I get a number of headers and little bits of code. My problem is that when my visitor clicks on one of the links they are taken away from my site, and in the other, so the questis is: How can I have the link open in a new window?

    The box 'target' goes out so I can't use target = "blank after him as I would with html.".

    I have been informed that a large part of the problem is that Feeddigest are actually create HTML code to their end and send it to me in a big block. I have also received the following to try:

    <? PHP
    ob_start & #40; & #41;
    understand & #40; "" http & #58;//app.feeddigest.com/digest3/feed-name.html ' & #41;
    $FeedContents = ob_get_contents & #40; & #41;
    ob_end_clean & #40; & #41;
    $FeedContents = str_replace & #40; "< a href =', ' < a target = _blank href =', $FeedContents & #41;
    print $FeedContents;
    ? >

    I must be honest and say means little to me.

    Anyway when I try the code, I get the following error message:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected '&' in/web/sites/267/kah22/www.kevinhart.f2s.com/index.php on line 186

    "Line 186:" include & #40; "http & #58;//app.feeddigest.com/digest3/RDHGXLAHXG.html ' & #41; "

    It is somewhat a detailed question, I know, but any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

  • Impossible to edit pages that open in a new window

    A page that a user updates frequently has a number of links to other HTML pages that are the value _blank target.
    When these pages open in a new window of the main page that is already open in Contribute, the new pages window who ejecting seem to have left to Contribute and have no Contribute menu item, not including any of the editing tools, at the top of the pages, if the user can edit these pages.

    Is there a way to get around this? Can pages be forces to open in Contribute?

    You can not force the pages to open in Contribute, but you can leave the new window open, copy the URL address in the browser, then paste it into the address bar of contribute, and click OK.

  • New window only opens a new window without worrying if I do a Ctrl-N or select it from the file menu.

    It doesn't matter if I select the new window on the file menu; do a Ctrl-N; or select Open link in a new window when I right click on a link, nothing happens. I can open a new tab with no problems, but not in a new window. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit.

    I think that what happens starting after the version 16, which was a few years ago... back then, I just stop using Firefox. However, I would like firstly using Firefox as my main browser and would like to be able to open new windows instead of new tabs. Please notify.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    Make sure that your security software is not blocking the new window.

    Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that helps.

  • How to close the instance of Firefox launched via file/new window without killing all instances of Firefox?

    Before the last update Firefox, running on Ubuntu if it makes a difference, I was able to select close on the file menu (and if memory is also by clicking the x on the last tab) to exit an instance of Firefox open via file new window.

    With the 9.x update this no longer seems to be possible. If I choose the file altogether starting an instance that was launched via the new window, all instances of Firefox away!

    It's embarrassing because I have to leave all the instances that have been launched.

    I tried closing last tab add on, and it allows me to close the last tab content but still leaves the instance running with a blank tab.

    Is there a setting somewhere that I missed to restore the operating mode to exit the additional instances of Firefox without killing all the previous configuration?

    Thank you
    Burt

    Each window must have its own close button (big X in the right corner.)
    But it depends on the 'Theme' that you use in Ubuntu. This large X chould be a round point when you hover over the color changes. It could be on the left instead of the right site.
    This screenshot shows the close the left side, but always an X button.

    CTRL + SHIFT + W closed the window Active.
    CTRL + W closes the current tab.
