Calendars of blackBerry Smartphones: how to PERMANENTLY remove default device entries

I have 2 calendars (device default and one labeled with my current email). First, I deleted ALL my entries on the calendars of device by default because whenever I have synced with MissingSync it syncs everything to my calendar for my email.  Anyway the problem I have is when I changed my email on the device (before even sync with my computer, the device default calendar is back with a bunch of OLD entries.  Where is he pulling information and is there a way to delete all the time so it never comes back?  Yes I could go back and remove all the entries ONE by ONE, but it would take a LONG time.

Hello

The default calendar is the calendar of the device, items synced to it will not correctly synchronize on the desktop.

(1) delete your addresses of e-mail of the device.

(2) use the link below to clear the Calendar database.

(3) recreate the e-mail address you want to associate with your main calendar.

4) go to default services and make sure that your email address for the main calendar is specified

in the CICAL and CIMIME entries. Save it.

(5) in the Office Manager, specify a one-way synchronization of Outlook to the device for the calendar only.

(6) once successful, check the calendar of primary e-mail and make sure that all records are there.

(7) run synchronization for each category separately until you have all the correct data on the BB.

(8) to re-create any additional e-mail addresses

(9) send service directories.

(10) the BB has now all the calendar entries in the calendar main correct email, with no record in another.

(11) on the PC, delete the intellisync folder and reconfigure the to 2 Sync Setup Wizard see normal.
Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to restore the default version device software?

Hi, I just update my software for device to BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.477 (EastAsia) BBB that OPTUS. But its totally different with the default version. I can't use Internet via Blackberry web browser using hotspot. It think there should be a lot of wifi and the application of 'download' and 'Instant Messaging' folder are lost! with the default version, when the first time I turn on the handset, there's MSN Messenger, Facebook, Myspace... etc in the folder "Download". Also I can't put more, my "Enterprise activation" required e-mail account, but I just that at the first time I've set up the handset, can I set up mail account everything I love. I'm not a business user. Anyone know how to restore the default device software version? If I can't restore back, anyone knows what version of the device software is better?  or how to fix this?

BTW: I got my BBB a year ago. This is the first time I try to update the device software.

    Thank you very much!!

BIS = BlackBerry Internet Service. Here is the OPTUS BIS site

    https://bis.AP.BlackBerry.com/HTML?brand=Optus

See if you are able to connect to it and try what I suggested. What version of the software do you have on the camera before? You could try downgrading to this version. Different carriers have different versions of the OS, so I can't say what that yours was before the update.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how do you remove Desktop Manager

A few weeks ago, I installed Desktop Manager.  For several reasons, I want to uninstall when I tried the uninstall program, he said:

    Uninstall failed:

Components of some BlackBerry® Desktop Manager may not have been removed from your

computer.  Try to re-boot and start again.

No idea how to make sure that it's all gone?  Some have mentioned to use a program called AppZapper, but is there a list of the files that are installed?

FYI: When I installed DM he says that he will make other unusable synchronization programs.  Currently, I can synchronize with Missing Sync, but only if I press the button "sync" of the Mac.  If I try to press the "sync" on the BB, nothing happens (it worked before installing DM) tells me that not all DM components have been removed.

Any help with the names and locations of all the components of DM would be appreciated.

I have a Curve 8330 from Sprint, I wanted to use for my work eMail (BES).  Our IT guy apply all the tools the company official security and limits to allow me to be connected to the corporate mother ship.  I now left this employer and need to get my device back to the standard configuration (detail).

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Not quite... Once you have a COMPUTER policy (which is what is applied with BES), you have to take much more radical measures to eliminate it. See the following article:

Yes, you can load apps from the Desktop Manager > Application Loader.

Download the files *.cod and *.alx applications on your PC.

Open Desktop Manager > App Loader > Add > navigate to the *.alx request file and move forward.

  • BlackBerry 10 How can I remove a feature from my account PIN?

I sold my Q10. The buyer is in my contact list and its data are always integrate into my own data of contact including the PIN code.

How can I delete the assignment the BB PIN of my BBID account?

    Thanks in advance.

There were actually several steps that should be performed before selling it... refer:

    • Article ID: KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

The WIPE on the device would have taken care to remove the association between this device and your BBID. You can then simply use this BBID even on another device, and that person would have none to use this same BBID because they would not know the password.

It is possible (a feature!) to have multiple devices on a single BBID, but the result is what you are experiencing. So I believe that the only remedy, it is that the new owner must WIPE this device and start again, leaving you with exclusive control over your BBID.

    Good luck!

After reviewing the issue, put the computer into Normal mode.
Uninstall or update the program that is causing the problem.

If this does not work, let us try to restore your computer to a previous state of safe mode.
Follow the instructions below to restore your computer to a previous state.

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
    2. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    3. in the System Restore dialog box, click Next.
    4. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created at least a week before the current date, and then click Next.

Note: If you do not find a restore point that is aged for at least a week, select the first point of restoration that is available.
    5. click on finish.
    6. the computer restarts. The system files and settings are returned to the State they were when the restore point was created.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

I suggest that you create a restore point before you follow the instructions below.
How to manually create a restore point?

1 open the system by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then click System.
    2. in the left pane, click System Protection. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. click on the tab System Protection and then click on create.

In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click on create.

You can also try to remove the entry by using bcdedit command in Vista by following the links below.
    1. click on start.
    2. type cmd and click with the right button on cmd.exe to select run as administrator.
    3. Enter the following text.

    bcdedit [{ID}] /deletevalue datatatype

The {ID} is the GUID associated with the start-up input. If you do not specify a {ID}, the command changes the current operating system boot entry. If a boot entry is specified, the GUID associated with the start-up input must be enclosed in braces {}. To view the GUIDs for all active startup entries, use the bcdedit/enum command.
