  Also, I enclose a set of VI (LV2012) I used some time ago to get the image of depth of the stereo image pair. They consist of three steps:

  1. image acquisition,

  2 stereo calibration,

  3. the measures.

  When the measured surface is enough texture (separate), the projector is not necessary. But in low texture configurations, it can greatly improve the quality of the measured data. If the projector is used, ensure that the model is as random as possible. This should give a good starting point to the correlation algorithm. Take a look at the following article:

  as a researcher at the University, I am very interested in not only consume autostereoscopic presentations because it is supposed to be possible with the Qosmio F750 - 10M, but I am also particularly interested in the possibilities of creating stereoscopic content for these devices.

  Does anyone have experience with this?
  Is there a reference/knowledge base of this topic? There may be even not SDK published this helps connect technologies such as engines of real-time game and/or the preparation of static image?

  Perhaps another basic question that could respond indirectly to those above is: how the stereo is actually display to work? Is it essentially using only two images (one for each eye) like most other systems (i.e. shutter glasses, glasses of polar,...)? Or is it using several images, as seems to be the case in some lenticular systems?
  The number of necessary renders highly influences the ease of connection to stereo - systems, and I think that, as it might be a very different challenge to make more than 2 angles all the time...

  I hope someone else can give a better answer, but it takes a bit. Qosmio F750 is very new laptop model and it might take a bit longer until other people receive too.

  Alternative you can contact a service provider authorized in your country. Usually, guys should know more details on autostereoscopic. Just talking a bit with guys ;)

  Hello all, first post here.

  I was handed down a Satellite A80-117 and I'd like to be able to scan a few LPs vinyl with it, but there is only a single audio input and he initially seems to be a mono jack for a microphone.

  Unfortunately there are no special tools to put as you need. But if it s really a mic/stereo line IN it should automatically mode, depending on which jack plug you.
  A good alternative would be to buy an external sound card that is better in terms of quality and external allows to convert your vinyl to digital content, since an integrated card offers not the recording capabilities as a good external USB card his (entirely digital s..)

• VBAI 2012 "save the image calibrated to the file" issue

  Under the State of 'Calibrate Image', 'Save the image calibrated to the file' option does not work correctly.

  With the exception of the type 'Point of Distance' of the calibration, the new image is ever recorded. I checked the calibration image .cal2 in the folder \ProgramData\National Instruments\Vision AI\Calibration Builder, each iteration the meta-data are updated but not the image.

  I have a camera calibrated with a grid (see picture) and using the model of the distortion. Working remotely can sometimes change and I need to take a recalibration. This step should be as simple as possible. Example: put a model calibration in the field of view, then press a button recalibrate.

  The problem mentioned above, it is impossible. Whenever I have to manually go into the choice of the State of the Image calibrate and update the calibration image myself. Otherwise, calibration is recalculated from the original image which is not best suited for the new working distance.

  Is there an easy way to make VBAI save a new image of calibration with each iteration?

  Or is it something that I did not understand this option 'save image calibrated to the file?

  Unfortunately VBAI does not support the suggested behavior. The best solution in my opinion would be to implement your application completely in LabVIEW!

• Stereo library pointers 2012

  Dear programmers,

  I am evaluating the new library of stereo Vision and since I'm pretty new to this, I would greatly appreciate a tip or two.

  My setup (simple) is:

  

  -Two cameras DSLR (Canon 50 d and 350 d and different models)

  -Different objectives, but the lenses were the set manually to 35 mm

  -Same (outside) lighting

  -Base remotely ~ 200 mm

  I calibrated individual cameras using a camera model and also corrected perspective distortion. I used a grid above in 20 different characters. Here, I have not had any problems.

  A static scene was examined, and the cameras were fixed on 10 s timer.

  The way, I used the stereo library to calibrate the stereo system and recorded stereo calibration data.

  I used the global semi block matching alghoritm to find the image of disparity. According to the equation

  

  where f = 35 mm and b = 200 mm.

  I calculated the number of disparities and the minimal disparity for my work remotely (env. 500-3000 mm)-> disp min = 0, number of aff = 16.

  

  With the help of a small window 7 x 7, I calculated the gap for the following acquired images (an example of acquired image pair):

  The disparity image that I get (non-interpolated) is:

  

  The image of depth is not calculated (empty image) for some reason any.

  What I am doing wrong? I know I made a few mistakes of my simplified system (the cameras are not fixed, the optics are not the same, etc.), but what is the problem with the disparity resulting?

  Is the problem in the vertical alignment of the images? From what I understand, the biggest problem is the corresponding texture. I expected more segmented images (several areas of equal depth). Are there not enough texture to match the two images?

  If I try the example that comes with the Module of Vision (Vision.vi stereo), it works well.

  Please help with an explanation. And if I made a mistake, please be patient with me.

  The 5 bytes of "user-defined information" are writable by anyone with access to the device through NOR-DAQmx.  In LabVIEW, you can write (and read) these bytes via the calibration information property node.  In the C interface, there is a corresponding attribute to write and read the same thing.  The rest of the EEPROM content cannot be changed by the calibration software and not can be written or read directly through NOR-DAQmx.

• Stereo does not read the Sansa Clip after firmware update

  I upgraded to the last 2.01.35a of the previous 32.

  Before that, my channel stereo would connect to the Clip and play songs using the USB connection, I can use the remote to change songs, now with the new update of the firmware it does not read the content of the Clip.  Clip said 'Connected', but the stereo repeat me 'Reading' forever.

  One of the reasons key I bought this monitor because it has 2 preset hardware calibration.

  That save me a lot of time when I spend 2 color space workflow in Windows

  (One fore one for sRGB and Adobe RGB)

  and 14-bit LUT calibration equipment hardware is pregnant with precision.

  Now, I tried to calibrate it with X-rite i1display Pro and software Calibration of Dell.

  I tried the coordination parameters predefined and customized in the Dell monitor calibration software.

  All results are terrible. I can't even D65 white point right.

  Calibrated white point is WAY hotter that it must, the gamma is off, the color accuracy is mediocre at best.

  Only the luminance is correctly calibrated.

  However, I use custom color of the monitor preset and calibrate the monitor with basICColor 5 (calibration software)

  The result is EXCELLENT, good white point, gamma correct, correct brightness, colors are on-site.

  But there is a problem, the range either use predefined custom color standard.

  If I want to use emulation Adobe RGB or sRGB. I can use these presets, but in these presets you can not adjust the color settings.

  I can't calibrate my screen with these presets with basICColor 5.

  So now I'm stuck. Hoping only Dell would have a specific version of monitor calibration software Dell.

  First of all, you cannot properly calibrate all GB - LED with Basiccolor 5 because it uses an older version of i1d3 SDK that don't support GB - led. Folder 'C:\Program Files\basICColor Software\basICColor display 5\PlugIns\i1d3 support Files\RG_Phosphor_Family_25Jul12.edr' is missing. If you add and edit "I1D3Mapping.txt" to contain it, it will show in the list box dropdown tecnology, but it will be ignored.

  If you think you have calibration spftware excelent, but your "D65" if off to real D65 (green). Check it with ArgyllCMS (GNU software) and this BDU.

  In second place, in a color space emulated without access to the RGB yo gain can 'fix' a little your WhitePoint via GPU LUT keep at least 93 to 96% RGB values. As monitor ages, WP will move and you must do this even if you have a D65 'perfect' at the moment.

  Now to the crux of your question. It seems that the Dell software lacks a XML configuration. Check "C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\X-Rite\Dell Calibration\Logger\logger.txt color" for a line of the error in the first lines.

  Missing XML file should be here 'C:\ProgramData\X-Rite\Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution\displayTechTypes.xml. It's just a mapping between models of monitors and calibration BDUs corrections. If you don't have it, create it with this content:

  But the 'Model' and 'Key' may vary in your case. Check the previous file, 'logger.txt' for the values as:

  "[24.05.2013 23:53:19.156] display of INFORMATION name: DELL U2413 - hardware ID: DELF047 - DisplayIndex: 0".

  Also make sure that your nvidia card or ati does not have the color correction, 'colourful' or something like that.

  And finally remember that the Dell-xrite software has a few flaws:

  1. it does not reset the values of LUT3D in each hardware calibration, so you have your factory reset values. It is a MAJOR, DELL problem. I therefore ask you, DELL, in order to solve this problem, once again... It cannot be if... just hard reset content LUT.

  2-all the predefined values (rec 709, sRGB, AdobeRGB) are YOUR NATIVE white point. Use Custom preset to D65

  One last thing, on the back of your 27: monitor LG GB - LED 27 "has its own software of hardware calibration (LG True Color or something like that), but if you buy this, it will work correctly for GB - LED for the same reason that 5 Basiccolor. It may seem to have a pretty white on the view, but no. Download (installation in a Virtuak Machine or something) and check yourself missing files for correction of BDUs.

  And Asus 24 "" / 27 "GB - LED has no calibration hardware reset, so..." "adjust" your instalation of Dell color calibration Solution (I've ben asking a software update regarding LUT3D reset and they don't care) or purchase an Eizo/NEC for twice the price.

  This is as sad as it may seem.

• Calibri fonts mysteriously disappeared!

  I had problems with the sites that have as their default font calibri fonts. Especially my outlook account (but also of craigslist and other).

  Thanks for you replies. I was not able to re install the font - got an error msg saying: the fonts of the WinSxS folder was invalid.

  However, I deleted the calibri police in the folder fonts (and copied to my desktop) and now the default font was changed automatically to another (arial maybe?) - anyway, I am able to see the content of my email so that the problem has been resolved somehow...

  If you know another way to get the police calibri on my computer, please let me know

  The restriction is defined as follows:

  WebCenter content (limited to the management of documents, content Web (WCM), digital assets (DAM) and other components of content management for the delivery of content as part of an application or a WebCenter Portal).

  This means:

  -no restrictions on the calibration of the documents.

  -WCC must be installed on the same HW (CPU license) as portal WebCenter

  -some modules of the WCC are absent (e.g., records management)

  -most important: WCC content must be accessible via a portal WebCenter (spaces), or application; If you want to access the content via COE GUIs, Desktop Integration Suite, or interfaces such as RIDC/WS, you will need full license of the WCC.

  I'm an amateur edition of a newsletter of club with InDesign (Creative Cloud 2015). It's a very simple four-page document that I export to PDF and send it to a small local printer. I inherited the previous editor three years InDesign file; I simply copy the file and void content each month. The file has always used Calibri and time of fonts.

  Very easy, actually. In the Type menu, select search for a police... Highlight Calibri in the list and choose replace from the list below. Check the box "Redefine Style when changing all", too. Click on change all. You may need to perform some replacement operations, replacement of each style or weight of Calibri with Museo (Calibri italic, bold, etc.).
