• New iPhone than 7 to 8 hours time to call to life

  I got a new iPhone 7 more, ordered through Verizon, a few days ago. Yesterday, I noticed that she had 8 hours and 51 minutes of life call time, which is impossible.

  Very strange... no one here can say what has happened. I go back to Verizon and ask them. If it was me, I insist on getting a new phone... that one has been used somewhere.

  I understand that you have a brand new iPhone, but I have some things that we can test first to make sure that nothing hinders the microphones.  Also, you'll want to make sure that 10 iOS is updated, updates may have software patches to improve the functionality of your iPhone.

  Update your iPhone:

  1. Open the settings app.
  2. Settings > general > software update.

  Please also ensure that your carrier settings are also updated:

  1. Make sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  2. Tap Settings > general > topic. If an update is available, you will see an option to update your carrier settings.

  I understand that after your wife 5 iPhone update and your iPhone 6 the new iOS, you both know questions in regards the phone doesn't ring do not or may not alert you to the alert notifications when you receive a message. I use my iPhone all the time and I count on the possibility of having my phone alert me for incoming calls and messages. We'll see what we can do.

  The first thing I want you to do is to restart the two iPhones. Make sure that your wife's iPhone has the ring/silent switch on mute.

  I have a 2012 focus and an iPhone (with the last iOS) 5s that I connect via cable USB of Hyundai.

  I listen to music via the cable and make/receive phone calls via Bluetooth.

  I have a problem when I'm listening to music and you receive a call.

  When I answer a call, I can hear and speak to the caller, but the music continues to play at the same time. The phone call, making it almost impossible to understand.

  If I unplug the USB cable during the call, he MUST immediately stop the music, because that's the way he plays. But this does not happen. The music keeps on playing in the background of the call.

  Also, if I MAKE a call, instead of receiving one, it works as it should. The music stops until the call is completed.

  Hi phidalgostar,

  Looks like you have a problem when receiving calls phone bluetooth while listening to your music through ties. This could happen because you use both types of connection, try to disconnect the USB cable and use bluetooth for phone calls and music playback. This should solve the problem you are experiencing.

• Sierra of MacOS - Siri cannot make voice calls.

  Hi guys,.

  Siri is supposed to be able to make phone calls via the iPhone, the Mac, in the Sierra de MacOS?

  Cause I can make phone calls (not the Facetime calls) fine if I use the Facetime on Mac app and click on the phone number, I want to call, or if I take a certain number of Contacts. But if I try to open Siri and make a voice command to "call X", he always tries to do through Facetime. Which means he's trying to make a Facetime call instead of a voice call normal.

  I observed the same behavior, so I think it's a missing feature.

  And page (below) which deals with Siri on Mac shows a command "FaceTime", but not a "Call" command  (As I say, I used the "Call" command and observed the same behavior you did.)

• Incoming calls mute after updating iOS 10.0.0.2 iPhone SE

  Hello

  After the update of 10.0.0.2, I saw a strange problem on my iPhone SE:

  • Incoming calls appear to be muted 2 ways (the two of us don't hear)
  • The speaker and mute icons on the screen looks normal (non-active)
  • When pressing the speaker icon 2 times (the first time it activates the "speaker" icon, but not the President himself, the second time, it disables the icon) all works fine again.

  It's the same when you use the standard helmet.

  A reboot seems to fix my problem for 1 time. But after that, the problem returns.

  I could not find any related problem, so maybe I'm missing some (new) settings?

  Hi Montfrooij,

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From what you have said, it seems that you are not able to hear a person during a call on the iPhone. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting.  I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem. You can also check that the iPhone is not connected to a headset Bluetooth, the sound of routing to that rather than the receiver.

• 10.2 exasperating IOS - cannot get rid of lock screen notifications or phone calls end

  I hate the new update!  Mainly due to the following question: my lock screen insists to show me the notifications I don't want - next Up, showing what I then in my diary, the Siri app suggestions and news.  I thought it would be simple to disable in the settings, BUT it does not work!  In my settings, news notifications are turned off completely, but still they appear (and Yes, I tried turning market!)  I have no interest in the next place, and cannot turn off anyone.  The Siri is ok - little useful and the same as what was there.

  The other issue particularly infuriating is that the block of additional notifications to the wide space on the phone's screen and I can't see what I'm doing.  In particular, if I'm on a call for long enough for the kick lock screen, for me to put an end to the appeal that I need move these notifications in the way that, slide or press the home button, which takes time. I do not understand why this is happening - surely if you are on a call the lock screen shouldn't come?

  So 2 questions: 1. How can I remove the undesirable elements of the lock screen and 2. How can I prevent the lock screen suddenly to avoid end me a call

  This is not correct.  To complete a call, you can simply press the sleep/wake button!

  Regarding then until the next, etc...

  Simply scroll to the bottom of the screen (that starts with 'To the top next' and click on change it.)  Then, you can move or delete what you want.

  Here's a possible scenario:

  I've recently upgraded from Android and buy my first iPhone. I like the phone, but it seems that the connection of data/LTE is horrible on the phone. I am constantly finding my phone is stuck on the 1 x or 3G connection and not being able to catch LTE in places I know are a LTE connection. In addition, sometimes my iPhone will drop calls. When I am I'm in my apartment, so I turned on wifi my component wifi works well, but other places, it deletes the call. Not sure if this is related to the issue of LTE connection.   Have exactly the same problem: iPhone 7 more 256 GB Black Verizon. Pre-order the phone got on 21 September and after a few days without service drops to 3G and stays there until the toggle airplane mode or reset network. Went to Verizon 23 got a new SIM card and after a few hours, the problem came back. Next day went to Apple told them the problem they did exchange of unit that had to be ordered because he had no stock and 27, I got the replacement phone first day that it was quite good, but the second day, all the problems are back this time the phone has a whistle as well... so on September 30 , brought the phone to apple as well as the box and they said they can get a me another replacement and I refused it not knowing not if its released State and requested a refund, but Engineering did not repay because the serial number is different from the box. Fortunately, I chatted with Apple the previous day and received the email and talked to the Manager and eventually returned the device.

  Back to my iPhone 6s now and no problems with the service even with VoLTE on. Don't miss the iPhone 7 more size and stereo speakers, but I'll wait until all the bugs and hardware issues are fixed before ordering again!

  I had an iPhone 5, 5s, 6: 6 without any problems until one. I returned mine because they gave me a replacement not retail box with the same question. I want to keep the phone but has returned to be sure whether a hardware problem is present they will fix it on the line, so I'm going to order a new one.
