Calls instantly ending

Hi to all, after briefly traveling through the forums I see may be that the problem, my parents and I've seen is a good still others also, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the solution (I couldn't find one), or if a support representative would be able to troubleshoot! Basically, whenever I tried to call my mom tonight, or she tried to call me, he says "connecting" for a second or two and then went straight to 'done '. Little background information - I use an iPad 2 (although it would not work in my Nokia 5300 either), and my parents are on a PC with Windows. We have two active Internet connections, and might as well call my brother who used a NetBook also with Windows. I also tried to call the test call which worked well. My mother and I spoke via Skype on time Sunday morning (I am in New Zealand so it was the night for me!) without any problem. I tried to reinstall the Skype app, and we both rebooted our various devices. Any ideas? I'm sure you can imagine that Skype has been somewhat a lifeline for us two with me being so far and that it does not work would be a real disappointment! Thank you very much, Michael

Unfortunately, no. The problem seemed to just go. I created a second Skype account, which seemed to work when my original wasn't, sometimes. Otherwise, just kept plugging away.

  • Specify the end point for the digital using an output circular buffer

When you use DAQmx and a NOR-DAQ for issuance of a digital signal using a circular buffer (buffer Renault). The program works and works, but when the 'DAQmx Stop Task.vi' function is called to end the task, he stops at the output buffering as soon as it is called and does not wait until the buffer pointer reaches the final value in the buffer. I would like that the program to wait until the buffer pointer is on the last value in the buffer, does anyone know how to specify this setting?

If you need to stop on exactly the last sample output you will need a way to trigger the stop in the material.  The options available to you will depend on what hardware DAQ, you use, but here are some possibilities on the top of my head:

    1. set up a digital output redeclenchables task finished (not all hardware supports).  Set up a counter of output to issue a periodic trigger with the necessary synchronization signal such that the end result is a "continuous" digital output without interruption.  When you stop your loop, stop the task of counter - digital output ends his generation but the trigger signal will be removed and so it will not continue after that.

    2. If you have an unused extra digital output line, add it to your task.  This line should exit 0 all except the last sample.  Physically, this additional digital line in a wire line PFI and use it to trigger a meter output.  Have the output counter generate a single pulse of some long-term (long enough to ensure that the software can respond prematurely).  Use the output from the task of counter as a trigger of break for the task of digital output.  Do not start the task of the meter until you leave your loop.  Do not stop the task of digital output until you have detected in the software that the meter has been triggered.

If you need to stop on approximately the last sample output, you could query the TotalSamplesPerChannelGenerated property after leaving your loop and only stop the task once it reaches a multiple of the size of your circular buffer.  This is no guarantee that it stops on the last sample (if you use a device on a bus with a latency higher as USB or Ethernet the non-determinisme would be worse).

    Best regards

  • Received a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, it is a call or a scam?

    Hi all

I live in Switzerland, but am British and a mac user (no groans please) although I Mac office installed.
In any case, tonight I received a call from an Asian woman of this phone number 00441865600154, the 1st time, I pressed the wrong button and cut them but they were recalled to work and she said she was from MS and my computer downloaded hacking software and had it flashed an alert at Microsoft. The line was very very bad and I've been cut called the number back and I just domestic type normal BT mail voice... scam or real?
MS have the ability to track these things, and how they know my phone number to the House Switzerland?

I am a little freaked by the present, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a scam, Microsoft does not call for end-users, because I don't think that they follow everyone. All calls more like this contempt please and offer the information for them. Total scam.

They probably bought a list of phone numbers from somewhere or they get telephone directories in Europe. Not too sure about all other methods. That would be my guess.

    I hope this helps.

  • I got a phone call offering to clear my computer of malicious files

Original title: telephone contact - maintenance

I got a phone call offering to clear my malicious files - remote computer or showing them myself first. I share the concerns that I had never heard of the vocations of the front window, and she says it's easier than sending electronic mail. Gave me a phone number to ring - did this prople first two could not tell me the name of the company. Third said there was a lot of interference, but it was way windows to communicate with the direct users. I refused to continue with them.

If there are programs that are passed my security systems - which would be the best way to check - I fear that, as I was contacted were not legitimate — they can be able to communicate with my computer.

  • SPA 112 - make calls over WIFI between the lines?

    Dear community

You just bought a SPA 112 which seems to work very well, except for one thing:

We do not seem to place calls between them the two lines (long cable between two buildings).

It sounds but is silent and hang up after making a call and end up on the other side. Any chance of a hint?

Also curious to know if I need to put something specific for use in Sweden? Seems to work very well, but still.

Do I edit something else? The dial plan?

    Thanks much for any help!

    Jan A.

    1. What is the long cable? What is the cable type (disclose AWG or diameter).

    2. turn on the syslog & debug (highest level) and catch them. It can help to analyze the issue.

if I need to set something specific for use in Sweden
According to your wishes. Your username cannot be content with US progress tones or ring US. You can configure some more appropriate for the Sweden , if you wish. Ring voltage waveform, and frequency of the ring should be configured according to your needs of end-phone. Plan of the PBX the SPA112 is saved as well as the requirement of the user of numbering Plan numbering must follow. There is nothing like "a suitable configuration requirements" plan of numbering - even for a given country, including the Sweden.
  • detect if the phone call is in progress

I got a job on a timer (via TimerTask) and noticed that it queue up behind a phone call (because the data network is in use when the phone is turned on). So when the call is ended, the jobs that have been waiting to send data to the application server on http spit back all their stuff at the same time.

I think I must make an agreement of type "only work if the phone is not in use". I have my signature certificates and wonder if the best way to check for a phone call is something like:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/developers/docs/4.2api/NET/RIM/BlackBerry/API/phone/phone.html

    If (phone.getActiveCall is nothing)

    {this.doStuff ();  }

    on the other

    {//phone's used do nothing.   }

If I'm totally off track in my use of the Timer, or the verification of a call in progress, please let me know!

    I use
    CoverageInfo.isOutOfCoverage () | RadioInfo.isDataServiceSuspended () to put my pending connection queue.
PhoneListener (calldisconnected) and CoverageStatusListener are used to prevent the connection queue.
In addition, I use a SystemListener to restart all connections, if the unit is automatically turned on.

  • How can I get number of the receiver during the call?

    Hello

How can I get the number to which I ask? but before the call is ended? but something else

    _phoneCallLog = (PhoneCallLog)_phoneLogs.callAt (_i, _phoneLogs.FOLDER_NORMAL_CALLS);

    _callNumber = _phoneCallLog.getParticipant () .getNumber ();

as this does not work with n - 1 behind. and I won't get it the number that I call right now, but I can get the last number that I called.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones when Holster BB during the call, while BT, hang it up...

When I get a call, I unholster the BB, look to see who's calling, then reply with my BT (BlueTooth Headset). When I try to case the BB, the call is suspended. I guess its because the physical call and end keys are getting hit. Is there a way around this? Drives me CrAzY!

In fact, there is a parameter which, by default, will hang up the call when sheathed.

    To change this setting:

    1. press the call button to bring up the keyboard.

    2. press the menu button, then select Options.

    3. select General Options.

    4. change Auto end calls: forever.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 'Address book call' phone function

I installed the software at 4.5.0.110.  In the phone function when I put the cursor in the empty field where a number is to be entered and I click on the trackball, a small window at the bottom of the screen appears that says "menu".  When I click again, appears the full menu and a selection is "Call address book."  When I select this function, the list of address book and I can then select the person and the number to call.  My question is this: in the old software, when I put the cursor in the empty field where a number is to be entered and I clicked on the trackball, the message "Address book call" instantly appeared.  I have not had to go through the extra click to see the full menu, then click again to access the address book.  Is there a setting in this new software to go directly to the "address book call" when the curson is in the field "Enter number" and I click? Thanks for anyone's help.

    Go to Options > keyboard/screen.

Scroll to Menu/Menu Style option and set it to FULL menu.

  • The end of blackBerry Smartphones key does not work correctly

When I missed an incoming call, the end button becomes irrational.  it becomes the call button.  When I press it, the call log screen appear.  I can't go out until the next time that a call arrives and I pick it up.  Then it disappears.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

See if this helps solve the problem the next time this happens.

  • Int TCS with multiway call recording

    Hi team,

We have a network of C20, VCS, MCU, TMS, TCS.

We want the user to perform a recording of calls. The procedure we follow is:

    (1) endpoint A calls the end point B

    (2) point endpoint A Endpoint B highlights waiting

    (3) point ending A call recording allias

    (4) end A point selects JoinCalls

    Call failed

Endpoint one can see the MCU Conference Conference MCU is created on the MCU join fails, but the end point A ends with 2 calls on hold and other assets.

If we make with the procedure to join the calls with 3 endopoints it works OK.

Could someone help me shed some light on this issue?

    Kind regards

    Federico

Hi Federico. Sounds like you using Multiway on VCS and MCU. Is this fair? Now TCS does not support RouteToMc or SIP refer to the transfer. I need to see the SIP to make sure. TCS but currently does not support what I know. You may be able to use the conductor if you have deployed in the environment of the user. I hope this helps.

  • Call randomly from Microsoft.

A person presenting themselves as being Microsoft called me yesterday evening after 21:00.  She said that the messages were received by Microsoft indicating which indicate that my laptop is downloading corrupt files.  I rejected, because he doesn't seem like a call legitimate.  Microsoft actually calls the users of their products directly.  I didn't send messagess to Microsoft when there has been specific problems.

My laptop doesn't seem to always work on something behind the scenes, but I guess it's my anti virus software.  Now I fear that this person was legitimate and that Microsoft has actually picked up on a problem with my laptop.

As you can see, I am not technically sophisticated and would be very grateful for your contribution.  I am a senior and I have my guard against scammers.

How I would be contacted Microsoft if it wasn't a hoax?

    Thank you.

It was a scam, which lasts for some time.

And no MS does not call the end-users, nore can 'see' your PC

It is I want to call the other end points all over the world who have direct ip, and similarly with the keeper change affecting I want to call my end points too.

    Note:

When I call from my endpoints the register to the doorman, but when I do the direct ip call I choose the Direct option. I can able to appeal to both ends with the change of the setting.

    Kind regards

I might be a little lost on what you have and how it is configured, but on page 30 of this guide http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs/config_guide/Cisco_VCS_Basic_Configuration_Control_with_Expressway_Deployment_Guide_X7-2.pdf

the configuration required to enable locally registered endpoints call public IP addresses directly explained. You only need to register your end points of your VCS using SIP and H323 (either one will be fine), and the VCS configuration takes care of the rest.
