Camcorder to dvd dubbing

Trying to dub dvd from the camcorder using cable STV 250 Stero video and VCR RDRVX500 Sony. Need help. Thanks in advance. Natlom

You can connect the camcorder to this recorder using i.Link and Composite connection (red, yellow, and white). This STV250 seems to be a converter cable. While operations are entirely non-guaranteed, you can give it a try. See page # 56 of the manual for instructions for registration:

    Hello

One question; you have a DVD burner or just the DVD player!
Please don't forget that you can also burn DVDs with your laptop and not only display.

Second question; What burning applications did you use?
I use Nero and it s my favorite burning program. It supports several modes of burning and burn the middle with best performance.

    Check it!

  • Adding new hardware to finish DVD

A few years ago, I finished a project using first item 7, he engraved on DVD and then deleted all the files from my hard drive.  Now, I want to add more material to this project.  How to import the material of the DVD in the program?  Does it matter what first version I have?  I tried to import just off DVD, but nothing really usable.

    jandr74

You should be able to work with VOB video files and do not have to be converted to MPEG or something else prior to importation in first Elements 7 on Windows 7 or 8 64-bit.

If you are running on first Elements 7, set the project preset in the new dialogue project NTSC DV Standard or NTSC DV Widescreen (depending on whether your DVD-VIDEO is standard 4:3 or standard screen 16:9 wide). For now I guess your first items is a NTSC system. Then use the Get Media / ' DVD (camcorder or DVD from PC Player) "/ 'Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader (Advanced dialog box)'.

You should be able to get good results with first Elements 7. If we cannot resolve the problems with 7, then, as a troubleshooting tool, you can watch the free 30 day trial of version 12 for this task.

    Now regarding this flashing video...

you select only the VTS_01_1.VOB in the Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader (Advanced dialog box) to align with the project. You should not take anything else. Menu VOB (VTS_01_0.VOB) sees in the Premiere Elements - Media Downloader should not hold the project.

To be sure vs 4:3 16:9, let's do it... Set the project preset to NTSC DV Standard. Once you get this VTS_01_1.VOB in chronology, in project media, right-click the thumbnail of the file and select Properties. If, in properties, see pixel aspect ratio = 0.9, then we are OK with the NTSC DV Standard predefined project. But, if you see 1.2, so you have it widescreen and the need to start a new project with the project preset DV NTSC widescreen value.

See what looks like all and then we'll decide what next.

    Thank you.

  • Rate Audio not supported in the file. HELP PLZ

I'm far from being comfortable with all programs of this type, so please bear with me. I am doing a slideshow for my Peewee team and I'm up to the wire to it. I bought PE4 in an attempt to open some options for our slideshows (my wife has already used Roxio but I wasn't happy with it). I'm trying to take a video that I've transferred from VHS to DVD using a Magnavox dubbing system. I am trying to take the video of the dvd and put it in PE4, so that I can put music on the video (the things in the crowd were not always things that grade 5 students should hear when they look at their video of the season). I succumbed to the import of files in PE4. I always get the same error message: "audio rate not supported in the file. I tried to convert the dvd to AVI using "Next Video Converter 3.0" and even "DVD Shrink 3.2" & "AutoGK".» I even tried to convert it to AVI using NVR and leaving out of the audio file. I still get the same message. Please someone help me with this. I am against the ropes here, and I don't want to disappoint my boys.

I tried to find help by reading some of the other posts here, but to be honest that I was not able to make heads or tails of any of them. I don't really understand this kind of thing, and when people start talking about codecs etc, this is no logic for me. Any help in plain English would be appreciated.

    Thanks,-Rsvl Jedi

The challenge is that these VHS to DVD dubbing sometimes systems use codecs (compression systems) for their video and audio that don't Digest well in programs such as Premiere Elements.

The simplest solution is to convert DVD files (which are the VOBs) to DV - AVI using a program called MPEG Streamclip. Instructions where to find it and what are the settings to use in the FAQ on the right of this forum.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/415317?TSTART=0

A much simpler way to do this, is to let the DVD on the move of the VHS to digital completely. You can do this by using a device called a DV bridge. You plug your camcorder VHS or player inside and it connects (via FireWire) on your computer. The files it creates on your computer are DV - AVI, the ideal format for editing in Premiere Elements.

I recommend the ADS Pyro AV Link. It sells for less than $150, and it will be more profitable for itself in a few weeks, if you do this kind of dubbing VHS regularly. The FAQ have more information about it and other DV devices. (Do not use cheaper scanners, like the Dazzle unit, incidentally. It only will lead to more headaches.)

  • Video ingest Options

I was hoping to get some indication of people on an idea I had.  Long story short, I have a Sony camcorder mini dvd that has been giving me fits in first.  The video thing seems good on the DVD but when I import into creating the final product has artifacts on it when I pan around with the camera.  Of all the discussions and reading, I believe that it is the result of many things, including the process of decompression and recompress the VOB files and just poor camera work by me.  I was hoping / intend to buy an HD camcorder, either go with AVCHD HDD (if probably I need to update my PC for that) or go with a camcorder tape based firewire.  I hate going with tape, only because it means that I'm stuck buying media... but I hate to have to buy a PC if I AVCHD.

So, here it was my idea.  A few simple tests using an old Pinnacle Dazzle I had it seems like if I use the camcorder DVDs and then simply repeat the contents it directly through the glare in the PC I get a pretty decent difficulty.  Test shows database artifacts of the screen are gone or greatly reduced.  I hope that it allows me to wait for technology to catch up where I want it to be. So 2 questions:

    (1) does make sense as a work-around, since I am essentially picking up the content to avoid problems of decompress/compress.

    (2) If Yes, someone has a good product, they would recommend capture?  My Dazzle is old and works only on an old XP machine I have.  I don't know if there are good and bad capture products out there, so before that I lost money on a borked solution, I thought I should ask.

    (3) I'm just deceiving myself, and I should break down and buy a baseband (preferably HD) camcorder?

For the examples, here's what I'm talking about.  First of all, a video from my camcorder imported by first from the DVD.

    http://www.Photoshop.com/users/jestefarean/albums/de5a45c3a07f4cfc8a7d31c6956239d2/view#67 4468e9375540b0a425d5114cc84683

It is the same video captured through the glare.  Not perfect, but looks a lot better for me.

    http://www.Photoshop.com/accounts/a4df2d50427543bda3e5e1f18285f67e/PX-Actifs/2618a291474248278338e6fa3debc6c2

    Thank you!

I would not use the Dazzle to capture my video unless I also plan to use Pinnacle Studio to change. Capture hardware for low-end like the one made to pretty much only work with the software that comes with it.

A better solution is a DV bridge, as the ADS Pyro AV Link, which has a retail price of less than $ 150, but saves virtually any video to DV - AVI, the ideal format for mounting on any editor of video on PC.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/431853?TSTART=0

As for your DVD camcorder, you should get pretty good results (at least as good as the original) If you use the project preset for a HDD Camcorder. Although, as you know, the DVD camcorder is kind of archaic form and a new cam may be in order.

BTW, if you don't mind sticking with standard def video, camcorders Sony miniDV (tape) can be had on eBay for about $100. MiniDV is the ideal format for editing on a PC or a Mac, and getting in this format can be the most economical way to improve your workflow.

  • Camcorder to transfer the tapes video 8mm Hi8 to DVD

    Hello
What best models of camcorder Hi8 CCD - TRV or Hi8 DCR - TRV (stereo) can use to transfer on several tapes DVD video 8mm Hi8 recorded in a Hi8 CCD-TR805? I hope that your quick help. Thank you.

None of the older Hi8 range products from Sony, the two camcorders or stand-alone bridges should do a great job. However, if your original camcorder is in good working order, you should be able to do a direct transfer in real time without having to buy an additional playback equipment.

Any camcorder without a USB output or i-Link can be connected via RCA video and audio of the catch to a card entry TV capture on your computer. You can save the result in real-time and then create DVD with the software on your computer. You can also use a DVD as the VRD - MC6 DVDirect recorder to record output directly to a DVD without a computer.

    Hello

I can t give you a solution exactly but to me sounds like something wrong with the software that you used.
What applications did you use? Have you tried different programs?

I think you should try to test with other capture software. So, you could eliminate the source of dysfunction. You know, you can know if it s a hardware or software failure.

    Hello Netzoo,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Community!

First place to check would be the place that the program saves by default. You can test it by importing a video (maybe a few seconds of blank film), then click on the registration option. That first record appears in the Save dialog box is where the program normally / last saved a file. Each program is different, but generally unless the project is recorded information is stored in a .tmp (temporary) format and then cleaned when the program stops. You can clean any .tmp among other files using Disk Cleanup:

    ·         Click Start

    ·         Click on all programs

    ·         Click on Accessories

    ·         Click Disk Cleanup

    ·         Check the boxes for the files you want to clean

    ·         Click OK

Hope that helps, I look forward to hearing from you.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD

What version of Premiere Elements is installed on your computer Windows 10?

If elements first 13/13.1, you should know that this latest version does not capture DV and HDV firewire support in a Capture of the first elements window.

The following Adobe document gives workaround solutions proposed by Adobe for this situation.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/premiere-elements/KB/removed-features-formats-elements.html

The latest version of Premiere Elements that has this feature is 12/12.1.

For now, I have a version of Premiere Elements on Windows XP 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit and 64-bit Windows 8.1. I don't have any version of Premiere Elements installed on Windows 10, so I can't speak firsthand how he should behave in what concerns DV and HDV firewire capture formats in versions of Premiere Elements earlier than version 13/13.1.

Please review, study and provide more details.
