Camera Raw 5.6 Bridge and Photoshop CS4 - back to the original image
New for Raw formats, bridge and CS4:
Question: I understand that when I opened the bridge images in Camera Raw, and then expand them changes aren't destructive or permanent, BUT I don't know how to get an image to its original data after I changed it. I don't know how to return the image to the original in Camera Raw or when I clicked "Done", returned to the bridge and want to, then try again with the original. How can return an image to its data or the original look?
Help would be appreciated.
Mary Ellen
In Camera Raw select Camera Raw default in the context menu of the ACR or Bridge, select Edit > develop settings > clear to go back to a virgin state parameters...

How the backup bridge and Photoshop CS4 settings?
I'm being forced to get a new computer and need to know the fastest and easier (and less techie) how to back up all my settings (such as workspaces) bridge and Photoshop, including keyboard shortcuts, actions, and probably several other ones that I have not yet thought. I am currently using Windows XP and will import in Windows 7. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Here is a document that provides a portion of the location of the files. http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/828/cpsid_82893.html
For keywords, go to brige and in the upper right of the keywords Panel, click drop-down list. Choose export and save the file to disk.
Don't forget to disable (help/disable PS) copies on the old computer, and then turn back on the new computer.
Best of do not copy the program, but do the installation disks.

I am not following you, when you double-click a JPG file that you want to open in Photoshop or Camera Raw? and what do you mean by "the office opens PAINT instead? If your problem happens when you double click on an image in Bridge or in Windows?

Can I uninstall CS4 Bridge and Photoshop CS4 after I upgraded to CS6?
Can I uninstall earilier versions of Photoshop and Bridge once I updated?
Yes. Just be aware that this can potentially alter file associations and shared components, and you may have to reinstall CS6, once again, without worrying.

I bought a new carmera and Photoshop CS4 camera Raw can not read the ARW files. I downloaded the lateset update but still can not read how can I get this problem solved thanks
Hi tonyf,.
Greetings!
Each device is compatible with a minimum version of camera raw.
Here is the complete list: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
Please check if you have this version of the camera installed which include your raw files.
It would also be that your photoshop will not have to install this version of camera raw as its very old.
In this case, you can convert your raw files to DNG and can use it.
To convert the files to DNG, you must download and install the DNG Converter.
Here is the link:
Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows

I just downloaded Bridge and Photoshop. I don't see the RAW files in Bridge.
Hello!
Is Photoshop (tell us the version) upward to date?
You may need to get a new version of Camera Raw that supports your camera files (only one?) outputs.
It lists the minimum version you need: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Install the converter DNG RAW 7-2 of my Office Bridge and Photoshop?
I have a Sony A99 DSLR that is now supported by Adobe. I downloaded the 7_2 converter DNG (RAW) to my office. How can I install in Bridge and Photoshop?
DNG converter is a stand-alone tool. For Photoshop / bridge you must have the corresponding version of Camera Raw (ACR). Refer to this:

I have the windows version of Lightroom 6.2.1 and whenever I try to go to edit in Photoshop, he says "this version of Lightroom needs a Camera Raw version 9.2" my photoshop has only 9.1.1.461 for full compatibility. But my desktop version of Photoshop will accept only Camera Raw 9.2. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have an idea on this problem. Or have I been left in a Catch 22?
The latest version of Camera Raw compatible with Photoshop CS6 is 9.1. Lightroom is programmed to warn you when you do not have the version of Camera Raw that is fully compatible. But this does not mean that you cannot continue to use Photoshop. Simply choose the option to open a copy which includes Lightroom adjustments. Lightroom will create the TIF or PSD first, and that the file is what will be opened in Photoshop. It will include all the adjustments you have made using Lightroom. Also, on the screen of your messages, you specify to not display this message. Then, you can continue using Lightroom and Photoshop as you are accustomed to using it. At this point, I don't think that there are no changes that are different. I remember correctly, the only changes made in Camera Raw 9.2 were the additions of new cameras.
In any case, Camera Raw 9.1 is that you can go with Photoshop CS6. If you think that it is necessary for you to have full compatibility, your only option would be to upgrade to the creative cloud. It is really not necessary to do so, however.

I recently installed camera raw plugin (9_1_1_7) for sony camera rx 111. When I try to open photoshop CS4, I get the following message, "could not complete your request because photoshop does not recognize this file type" How can get cs4 to read the raw file?
Hi diggoman,
Greetings.
- Camera raw 9.1 is not compatible with 4 CS of PS.
- This camera is too recent for your PS CS 4
Your options if you want to open raw files-
- Purchase PS CS 6
- Or go to subscription with PS CC 2015, where you will also have access to the PS CS 6

Photos selected in Camera Raw are not open in Photoshop CC
I have Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS6.5 installed in my computer. When I send pictures to Camera Raw in bridge, twisting them and make everything beautiful, I want to finally send them into Photoshop to finish my treatment. Camera Raw seems to want to send to Photoshop CS6. I can't get it to open them in Photoshop CC. I guess miss me a setting somewhere but does not know where he is. I am aware that I could just record all Camera Raw files then drag and drop them into Photoshop CC, but is that really necessary extra step?
What operating system do you use?
What version of the bridge are you using?
