Camera RAW shows a cross instead of my image.

After upgrading my CC photoshop to the latest version, I do not see my image in the 'Camera RAW'. It shows a blue image with a cross, a sitting at.

I tried to open a Canon EOS 1 d MkII CR2-file. Camera RAW version is 9.1.1

How can I fix?

[Left the forum Cloud/Installer generic for program specific forum... MOD]

It could be associated with GPU. Camera Raw just added GPU support and some systems do not handle well it.

You may need to disable.

  • Camera Raw wants to use processes instead of 2012 2010

I edited my raw in lightroom 4, 2012 process, when I place the image in my document photoshop bridge, camera raw shows! saying "updating the process underway (2010)", but 2010 is not the current process, is 2012. What should I do to correct this?

Remove the camera raw file (where is it?) and reinstall camera raw (where I get it)?

    Thanks for your help

PS: I'm on Mac. CS 5.5 premium production.

As long as CS5.5 is updated to 6.7 cab and you don't need to change all the values of cursor, you can ignore that.  6.7 the CAB has no sliders for PV2012, though, as it is an older version.

If you want to adjust the sliders in ACR dialog for your dynamic object, you must either use the older PV2010, or update to CS6.

  • Camera Raw yellow box on blue background

I just installed the trial version of Photoshop CC on my computer. I try to open a file of a camera in Camera Raw D1X NEF, however, I see only a box yellow (instead of the image) on a blue background. Here is some useful information...

    Windows 10, 64-bit

    Adobe Bridge CC Version 6.1.1.10 x 64

    Adobe Camera Raw Version 9.2.0.486

In Bridge, the NEF thumbnail appears fine and a XMP is generated.

If the XMP from my old version of bridge had been treated in my old version of Camera Raw, open NAVE ok file in the new version of Camera Raw, but it is defined in the 2003 process, ACR 4.4

All other features of Camera Raw seems to work on the same image that I see the histogram update I make changes. Yet, it simply shows a yellow box instead of my image.

This is what it looks like...

Can anyone suggest how could this problem be addressed?

  • Lack of camera raw dialog box in Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows.

    Hello

I have Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows. It runs on a Windows 32 - bit Windows Vista VirtualBox virtual machine.

It worked fine, but suddenly opening of raw images from Nikon is no longer opens the Camera Raw dialog box, but takes me directly into the editing on Photoshop Elements.

I really like having the area of the Camera Raw dialog box to open as I do most of my treatment using this before opening the file that results in the elements of the image.

Does anyone know how to get this back box, or open in the elements?

I tried to open the images in Photoshop Elements by using the element of mnu ' open under... ". "in the menu file, then the 'Camera Raw' choice as the image type, but it nevertheless opens without the Camera Raw dialog box.

    Thank you very much.

Check your settings screen for vista resolution.

I believe that the resolution of the screen should be at least 1024 x 768 for the dialog box camera raw show in pse 8.

For example, if, instead of run VirtualBox full screen, your running in windowed mode or transparent and done the small window by dragging on the corner, which would automatically reduce the resolution of the screen in vista.

  • Why is there no Camera Raw in my Lightroom 6 download?

I bought and downloaded Lightroom 6.0 and updated immediately in 6.2.1. When I open an CR2 file, it displays directly in Lightroom with controls of Lightroom (by the way, my Canon T3i CR2 files are supported). If I save the image, save it in JPEG format. Where is Camera Raw? I tried to install Camera Raw 6.2, but still no luck. I already tried the Lightroom CC version, but I let the trial period expires and made a direct purchase instead. Could it be causing a conflict?

    Hello

There is no Plugin de Camera raw to Lightroom unlike Photoshop.

Camera raw is embedded (in built) in Lightroom

You can open the image in Photoshop from Lightroom.

Click right image in Lightroom and select Edit in Photoshop(if you Photoshop installed on your computer, it will open a raw image in camera raw)

. If I save the image it records in JPEG format

Lightroom can export your image as a Jpeg or DNG.

Using the change in Photoshop to save the image under. PSD and other known formats.

  • RE: Camera Raw and smart objects

    Hello everyone.

    I have a question please.

Inside of the 8.1 camera raw workflow options, I checked the box to open in Photoshop as smart objects.

I noticed inside the Camera Raw, open the Image box to turn to, the open object box.  I clicked open, and he opened the Image as objects inside Photoshop the Smart.

If I make changes to the Image, and if I Double click on the smart object, it will open in Camera Raw again which is good.

I also noticed that if I make changes to the Image inside the Raw to the dynamic object camera after clicking Open Smart Objects I see the changes inside the Photoshop too.

But if I make the changes to the Image inside the Photoshop, and later I Double click on the Image, the Image opens inside the Camera Raw, without modification.

Here's my question: still The Smart object Image is a Raw Image?

    My next question is:

I don't know if I open a Raw Image Inside the Camera Raw and if I click on fact, the image is always a Raw Image, which is good, and if I click on Reset low, will reset back. If I change only the White Balance and click on go back the Camera Raw and I chose as shot, the Image goes back to the Original Raw file.

But if I do other changes such as exposure, any color change and click on I did can never return to the original...

Last month I was in collaboration with the Lightroom and I noticed if I open a raw image inside the Lightroom and modifications to make the Image, any time I can click on reset and the Raw image dates back to its origin.

I don't think that we can do this with Camera Raw can us?

Claire removes the settings in camera raw completely. You will not see the setting on the thumbnail icon in Bridge

By default Camera Raw will display the icon and double click on the thumbnail will always open in Camera Raw with the default settings.  The default value is "As Shot", that's why you see no difference. It is when you select a default Custom you want. He will stay with the Camera Raw file.

See this article by Julienne Kost.

    http://blogs.Adobe.com/jkost/2009/10/setting_new_camera_raw_default.html

Another difference is with JPEGs. Open a JPEG in ACR, making an adjustment, click 'done '.  Select 'Default Camera Raw' and it will always open in ACR instead of Photoshop.  Select 'Clear' and it's a normal jpeg which is still open in Photoshop.

Basically it's all I know, I normally don't use ACR much.

  • How can I move a photo from camera raw in photoshop?  When I click Open a picture I get a checkerboard

How can I move a picture of editing in camera raw in photoshop?  When I click on "Open image" I get a checkerboard in photochop

"ACR" is Adobe Camera Raw, which is that you open your images with. You make all changes using Camera Raw, or simply open them? If you are editing in Camera Raw, what happens if you use the standard file > Open option, instead of opening as...

Another thing, you'll want to do, is to make sure that everything is up to date. This includes Windows 7, Photoshop and your video card. All the these can play a role in the issue of the checkerboard.

  • Every time I make an external edition with 12 LR6 elements it tells me I need Camera Raw 9, but the elements will not update to Camera Raw 8.5. How to stop this message pop up?

Can I stop this pop up does not happen? Or is there a work-around that will get Camera Raw 9 install on 12 items?

    spinner498 wrote:

Here, I'm a bit confused. The message, in LR long before the opening of the elements. I don't see this as a question of items other than the items will not be upgraded past 8.5. It's a LR definition probably

It is actually both a Lightroom and Photoshop Elements problem. The version of Lightroom you are using search Camera Raw 9 to make sure that the image is properly translated when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop Elements. Lightroom can see that you have only the version of camera raw. Lightroom notifies you as well as the transition between Lightroom and elements might not transfer all adjustments using Lightroom. So, it should give a free choice either way you or edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments. The second option is the one you should choose. Then Lightroom will create a TIF or PSD file (depending on your external editing options) and send this file to the elements. The only way you can completely solve this problem is to have a version of Photoshop Elements, which is fairly new to use the same version of camera raw that Lightroom is looking for. If you don't want to upgrade your version of elements, then you should choose the option to edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments.

Camera Raw is used when you transfer the file from Lightroom to elements to translate the raw settings and create an image that can be edited in the elements. By itself without camera raw, Photoshop Elements cannot change raw images. The image must be converted before its opening in Photoshop Elements.

  • Where is located the crop tool in Adobe Camera Raw 9.1?

I was exercising posted the pg 60 of Photoshop User Jul_Aug and after entering Camera Raw, I was unable to crop the image as suggested.  I was not in Photoshop a lot recently I also have LR and use it more.

Older versions @ have the cropping tool, but I'm unable to locate in this version.

If you use the PS camera raw filter, there is no crop tool. It is only for images that are opened directly in ACR.
