  You can communicate with the main timeline by dispatching events from the child swf file.

  When the child Swf is loaded, dispatches an event, i.e. - dispatchEvent (new Event ("DoTimeLineCode"));

  Then on your main timeline, listen for the event and perform the desired functions:

  MovieClip (root) .addEventListener ("DoTimeLineCode", mainTimeLineFunctions);

  function mainTimeLineFunctions(e:Event):void

  {

       MovieClip(root).Applications_btn_timeLine.play();

  etc...

  }

  ChasingMovieClip(parent.parent.parent.parent) has always been a losing battle for me. It's best practice to use event dispatchers and listeners to instantiate "things" from the parent child paradigm.

  'root' is the equivalent of AS3, but use it alone will often not wortk.  Most often, you will need to cast as a form of object until the compiler will recognize.  To aid "MovieClip" (root) will usually do the trick.

  I recently changed my home to infinity of BT broadband.  Now I can't access my email works through outlook over a VPN.  The signin VPN works ok, I can see my network co., but can not use outlook.   I get the following error at startup of outlook.

  Try going to the screen when change you the permissions, select Advanced down...

  In the window that opens, there will be a space for a change in ownership...

  Try to set your username...

  Change the property and add the owner user name

  Select the Security tab, then click ADVANCED at the bottom.

  Here you can change the permissions for existing users or add another...

  Click owner on the top tab, and then select the user (you) that you want to support.

  If it is not on the list...

  (1) edit

  2) click other users or groups

  (3) advanced

  (4) find now

  (5) select the user from the list... Your user name, or anywhere you want to add.

  (6) check the "replace the owner of subcontainers and objects".

  Now, select the permissions tab

  (1) select "Edit permissions" down

  (2) select EDIT if the new owner is there...

  Add otherwise, steps 3 to 5 above

  (3) give the user\owner new full permissions

  "(4) check the box"include the permissions that can be inherited from the Parent of this object.

  If the new OWNER does not appear on the 1st list you see after clicking the Security tab now, use the first set of instructions to MODIFY and add a user.

  Obliously your symbols are hiding the main timeline. If you put this in your steps, click on events, it will remove the symbols and go to home label.

  I put a square home and hide it when not on the House. Thus, it shows only there.

  sym.getComposition () .getStage () .stop ('home');

  sym.deleteSymbol ();

  So basically, you will need to remove the symbols and recreate them when you need.

  But I could be wrong.

  You can simply drag in iCloud reader, but I pass and move documents in their files app instead. It will probably take a while to download all documents.

  It is not a way to sync without some third party software that synchronizes folders, or learn how to use rsync in the Terminal.

  Instead of synchronization, simply use the iCloud drive in the 'Documents' folder after you move the files.
