can I add a dedeicated radeon video card to a computer laptop dv7 - 6123cl?

Hello, I just bought a computer laptop dv7 - 6123cl and I was wondering if I can add a dedicated graphics radeon card

Hello

I do not think, he has Intel HD Graphics 3000, you need a new mother/system board and a new cooling system to be able to do that means buying a new machine.

Kind regards.

  • Can I add a 64-bit video card to a desktop computer with a 32 bit processor?

I have a HP a522n with an Intel Pentium 4 (2.60 GHz clock, 400 MHz FSB) processor and 1 GB of DDR1 memory.  This processor, I give myself to think, is running on a 32-bit instruction set.

I want to disable the integrated video and add graphics EVGA GeForce 6200 PCI 2.1 with 512 MB of DDR2 64-bit memory.

Is it achievable?  You can add a 64-bit on a 32-bit system video card?

Yes, you can install this video card 64-bit on your 32-bit CPU/operating system. In general, the size of bit (width) of a video card refers to its memory interface. The size of the computer bit refers to the CPU or operating system.

  • My Slimline s5-1020 is not HDMI. I just bought a HDTV with HDMI. Can I add a low profile video card?

I found a fanless, so, apparently, that it wouldn't overheat. Also, I want a video card that is 32-bit or 64-bit? Thank you.

Also, the presence or absence of a fan on the card should not be a factor on the HDMI.  Unless you're a player PC enthusiast or need to do a lot of intensive graphic type things, you should be ok with the card without a fan.  Keep in mind that you want to have adequate ventilation around the PC to make sure that the chassis fan can circulate more fresh outside air inside the chassis.

  • Have I not AMD Radeon HD M 7730 2 GB video card on my new laptop Inspiron 15R?

    Hello

Last week I received the delivery of Dell, with my new Inspiron 15R laptop.

I struggled again to learn how to use Windows 8 more comfortably (to be able to perform the same actions/tasks as in Win XP or Win 7), discovered playing around the Panel, in the section of the graphics card, I was surprised and frightened the driver installed is "Intel Graphics 4000.

I was shocked! I specifically paid for AMD Radeon HD 7730 M 2 GB video card!

I searched on the driver CD that came with the laptop, I found the driver for AMD Radeon video card. I installed it. Then I disabled the driver Intel Graphics 4000.

Windows have complained about this version of the AMD Radeon driver, turn it off and turn it on (and of course installed) driver Intel Graphics 4000!

    Question:

Have I not AMD Radeon HD M 7730 video card in my laptop? Is this a problem of driver on Windows 8, or Dell forgot to put this video card more expensive on my laptop?

Maybe I'll take a look in the BIOS, it should include all hardware components.

I can't believe you posted just your device manager, display the map in question . What the hell was all panic.

I foolishly assumed when you said you looked at graphics cards configuration panel, you mean you couldn't see in the Device Manager.

Request of NVIDIA or the manufacturer of the card.

IF it is the card you need the info- http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-750-ti/specifications

But it seems that some do support 3 - http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=70B14BA6-5853-4A65-AACF-CFF61F466D82

So check with the real manufacturer of the card you are interested in.

  • Can I install a 1 GB video card and still be able to run Windows Vista?

Original title: need information about my os/graphics card...
Hello! I have a problem with my gfx
I want to buy a new video card in my computer. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit, and here is the 'problem '.
I currently have 3 GB of RAM installed and according to this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929605/en-us Vista is limited to 3.12 GB. If I had to buy a new video card with 1 GB of memory, this memory limit for Windows Vista to use for other programs to 2 GB and Vista would be still able to use the / 3GB for other tasks and then the 1 extra GB for video work?
    Thank you!

Video RAM is separate, but some cards also use the system to 'boost' memory capacity.  You cal telll them because they will say memory share as apposed to discreet.

I can't find Windows Defender under my services for my computer laptop windows 7.

    (Moved to repair and recovery)

    Hello

Windows Defender on Windows 7 is only antispyware. It has disabled (to avoid potential conflicts) during the installation of various programs of anti-malware to include (but not necessarily limited to) AVG, McAfee, MSE and Norton.

So, probably your antivirus product has disabled Windows Defender. If so, you should not try to turn on WD.

    See you soon,.

  • Can satellite L300D - I change the video card?

    Hello world

I am not satisfied with the performance of my video card. I have a Satellite L300D, with 2 Ati Radeon X 1250.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to remove these video cards, or remove 1 and put another one in it? Or simply add one and what is a good video card for this laptop?

There is no video card in this model, its fixed on the motherboard. In addition, there is no standard on laptops video card slot, so you would not be able to update anyway. That's because laptops are compact and their cooling system must be custom designed following the power of the VGA chip. The laptop could overheat or cause other problems power if a more powerful graphics card was installed.

So your only option is to sell the laptop and buy a model designed for the game, such as the P300 or P500, or maybe an A300 model with decent dedicated nVidia or ATI graphics.

  • Dell inspiron 3521 (i5), how to configure Radeon video card laptop use as main graphics card?

    Hello guys.

IM using Dell inspiron 3521 (version i5 to 1.7 ghz, Radeon HD 7670 M / Intel HD Graphics 4000, 6 GB of ram)

I don't want to use the Intel HD video card at all, because the quality of the texture is so low. I would like to know, how to set up the main video card?

    Its possible?

    Thank you

The 'main' video chip is the Intel one - it's the only one who has a connection to your display board.  The AMD GPU is a co-processor - it can be used (chosen from the AMD Catalyst Control Panel) for the applications you want to use it.

It CAN be made the default GPU - GPU from Intel's wired for this role.  By design, all of the video data through the Intel GPU (which is part of the central unit of system processing).

  • HP Pavilion dv7t-6100: switch to ATI RADEON video card. Hang, reboot, and white screen.

    Hello.

I was using my laptop as usual, and like many other times I have tried to swich for High Performance video card.  At this time, Windows crashes; So I had to press the power button a few seconds until the computer turns off.

Then, when I turned it on:

-Anything on the screen (on the screen of the computer laptop and external monitor)

    -Cannot access BIOS

-No boot sequence (operating system does not)

-Led is ON (without LEDs + turn signals)

-Keyboard unresponsive (caps lock led for instance does not change when I press on it)

I tried several suggestions "base" that I found on the Internet with no luck:

-Unplug the power cable, remove the battery

-Remove the battery from the BIOS, RAM, HARD drive

-Press the on switch / off 60 seconds

So I guess something is dead here.  Could it be that the RADEON card no longer works?

When the computer is turned on, what card uses by default?

Is it possible (not through BIOS, not through OS) to specify to use the integrated graphics card Intel? Removing the RADEON card (is that even possible)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @fedecris,

Thank you for the update. Q0F7E4-5R7894-MFH14K-403 P 03 error code indicates a failure of the memory module. Please see the guide to maintenance and maintenance for recommended replacements. (the link is in my post above) Note Chapter 3, page 31, paragraph 23.
