  What do you mean exactly by farm down?
  The laptop turns off automatically once the WiFi (switch) card is turned on?

  I put t think this would cause obsolete WLan driver, this sounds like a hardware problem.
  In case it of not possible to use the internal WiFi card, I recommend to use an external USB WiFi dongle.

  The question is mainly to be sent to Toshiba authorized support personnel. The limitation of the maximum size of a HARD drive internal that I could use with my Satellite Pro M30 - 813, what exactly?

  Recently, I bought and installed seagate SATA drive of 160 GB, on which I installed WXP Pro and have been running for a while with no problems. Recently, I've been copying large amounts of data to an external hard drive to my new internal drive, and that the files have been copied, as I noticed have about 50 GB of free space left, I knew windows "delayed write failed" and a failure of massive wall without the possibility to recover the data. The system would no longer boot time and the entire MBR has been damaged. As a result, I lost all the data on my new drive.

  Well, I realize that Toshiba is not responsible for additional hardware that I use with my computer laptop and who is not officially supported by Toshiba, I am sure that as an end-user of a Toshiba product, that I have the right to know a lot information of limiting size of HDD for my model of laptop. So I ask, representing technical support Toshiba to give me an official reply directly to my question.

  I could give my experience with Satellite M30 and HDD upgrade possibilities.
  To my knowledge the M30 Sat supports a 40 GB, 60 and 80 GB HARD drive for sure.
  In my opinion, you can use the 100 GB HARD drive, but more large HARD s drive will not run and works correctly.
  So go to a smaller size of HARD drive and enjoy the laptop!

  It s a simple fact that the Vista Aero needs Windows Vista Premium ready computer:
  1 GHz 32-bit (x 86) or (x 64) 64-bit processor).
  1 GB of system memory.
  Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB graphics memory (minimum) Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.

  Your laptop uses a shared 32 to 64 MB graphics card. Sorry, but this is just too weak to run Vista Aero feature.

  By the way: it s is not possible to replace and update the graphics card on laptops

  I think that if you need a domestic framework for laptop you should order it since the maintainer authorized Toshiba in your country.

  DVD writers usually come in two varieties, IDE usually designates those intended for 'slimline' and Office Tower systems which are generally mounted in laptops.

  The physical form of the player is usually constant models (in this case Toshiba use different brands in their notebooks). The device will have various plastic components fittings attached to it which will need tro be transferred to your new unit and have threaded metal accessories which are used to secure the unit to the laptop. These must also be transferred to the new unit.

  You also need device drivers dedicated to this new unit that can are provided on a CD or even be downloaded on the website of unit manufacturers.

  The magazine you found is OK and I think you don't need original Toshiba charger.
  If you want to have Toshiba we part number is PA3716E-1AC3.

  3. choose family-> «Satellite Pro»
  4. choose by product series-> 'Satellite Pro 46xx.
  5. choose the model-> 'Satellite Pro 4600'
  6. choose the number of short model--> "PS460E" (anyway it s one available only)
  7. Select the operating system-> 'Windows XP'
  8. click on "search".
  9 download all the drivers you need

  That s, it was the most simple version of my explanation how to reach the drivers for your machine. I hope I don't have to explain it a lot easier... ;)

  I have a laptop Sat Pro U400 - 142 (PSU45E). My computer scientist he wiped Vista (against my will) and stuck on XP. He even gave me a XP Recovery disk! I have now removed XP and stuck on Vista. Unfortunately for Vista Business readers seem not to be on the Toshiba site (only XP). Anyone know where I can get readers or can provide.
