IAM trying it, and I can't found userContent.css or chrome folder on the % appdata % windows xp environment
This file is not automatically created. You have to create yourself.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

You should open a text editor (such as Notepad) and when you're done, save it as userContent.css with the file type all FILES, otherwise you will get a file named userContent.css.txt that will not work.

I can't see the list of my Add-ons (extensions). It shows me a blank page.
After that I updated firefox 42.0, I can't see the list of my Add-ons (extensions). I see a blank page instead. Modules work, but I can't manage/uninstall any of them.
It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.
Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created if necessary.
See "extension corrupted files:

- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/unable+to+install+add-ons
If you see disabled extensions or is not compatible in "Firefox button/Tools menu > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button at the left end of the search bar to check if there is an update available compatibility.
If this did not help, then also delete the addons.json file.

When mark you pages, then it is still possible that these direct links get broken if the site Web makes changes to their code. This can happen even easier if he is given a GET or POST. It is usually best to only simple bookmark links and not the links which have been concluded by clicking a form or link to specific servers where load balancing is used.

When I go to my home page by clicking the home page (more convenient way to access my most frequently used page), the Add-ons Manager will open in its own tab. I don't like this at all. How can I get him to stop?
Looks like maybe your homepage has been accidentally updated to include several pages, including the Add-ons Manager. Try to open the Firefox options window and paste the address of just your page field "Home Page".

Here is a screenshot of my computer properties. I know that my PC is old. I confess, that I should know more about this kind of things I do, but I am so frustrated, I'm ready to everything simply uninstall Firefox and come back to Chrome. Basically, I don't do online, read the news, Sports, and play a few games. I can't help but feel that I have conflicting modules causing me all these questions, but for the life of me, I can't understand the right combination of them to get my browser to work correctly.
Constantly Debugging Script box appears, or Shockwave breaks down or the page I simply implemented site, suspended and freezing. I wouldn't need to be clear my history/cache every day, but I do, and this is only a temporary solution. After half an hour, I'm again right back to all questions. Thanks in advance!

Until I disabled all add-ons, 'New tab' did nothing! Any thoughts?
{No Biggy}
NEW TABS.
The New Tabs box was totally unresponsive until I restarted Firefox with all Add-Ons Disabled.
The main Add-Ons used were, FlashGot \ with Internet Download Accelerator (IDA), and 1 or 2 resizing tools, to reduce page size which was constantly oversize.
Anyone care to shed a little light on what they think is a probable reason(s) why this occurred?
If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

Firefox updated to the latest version and disabled or deleted all the Add-ons. Always get Crash Reporter.
Firefox DO opens in Mode without failure.
A ran MalwareBytes and AVG and SuperAntiSpyware. No viruses.
Firefox is restored to its default state.
Check the missing files in windows using the File Checker Windows system at the command prompt. There are not.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on a Dell XPS 400.
The rest of my system works very well except for Firefox.
GET CRASH REPORTER!
Frustrated now.I was told in a response to my post on this topic in Mozillazine [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38 & t = 2685611]
that Crash report that an update of Windows had caused the crash. I went to the list of all my Windows updates and remove all updates of the date on which this occurred (3/29) and rebooted and my Firefox browser works again! I couldn't believe it! Thank you for your kindness and your help in this matter.
Kind regards. -
I can see it in the list of Add-ons, but how can I run?
He did not appear in the list customize. I reinstalled, and it still does not appear. However, I found on another site this statement, which worked: type about: addons-memory in the address of a new tab bar and it runs. Thank you for your response.

Add Google Chrome, now Safari opens Cannot link e-mail links. Just received message "Safari is closed." Tried deleting 3rd party add ons. Is went into preferences, Safari is the default browser, but it does not open.
Third party extension and plug-ins?
If Safari is slow, unresponsive, which closes unexpectedly, or has other issues
The problem may be caused by a Safari Extension, Internet plug-in or another add-on.
The safari Extensions, Internet plug-ins, and other modules are designed to improve or customize the browsing experience. Modules are widely available on the Internet, and some are installed as part of an application or other software. If you have Add-ons installed, an add-on might be at the root of the issue.
If the problem is the unwanted pop-up windows, advertisements and graphics while surfing on the web, discover how to remove the ad-injection (adware) from your Mac software.
Disable the Safari Extensions
You can disable Extensions Safari to learn if all are causing the problem.
- In the Safari menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Extensions icon, and then select an extension from the list.
- Uncheck the box enable disable this extension.
If turning off an extension solves the problem, look for updates of the extension by clicking Update in the lower left corner of the window. Or remove the extension by clicking on the button uninstall.
Remove Internet plug-ins and other add-ons.
You can remove Internet plug-ins and other add-ons to see if everything is the origin of the problem. To find them, quit Safari and open these folders in library:
- The library folder at the top level of your hard drive. Open it from the Finder by choosing go > go to folder in the menu bar. Then type
/Library
and then click OK. - The record library in your home folder. Open it by organizing the Option while choosing go > library in the menu bar.
The folders in the library contains the following folders for modules. Move all the files in these folders to the trash.
- Internet Plug-Ins
Do not remove the default Browser.plugin, nslQTScriptablePlugin.xpt, Composer.webplugin of Quartz or QuickTime Plugin.plugin. - Input methods
- InputManagers
- ScriptingAdditions
If the removal of the files in these folders solves the problem, quit Safari again and gradually put the files until you find the one at the origin of the problem:
- Open the Recycle Bin and select one of the files that you removed. Chose file > back up. The file back to its folder.
- Open Safari and see if the problem returns.
- If the issue is returned, you have identified the add-on causing the problem. Do not use or contact its manufacturer for an updated version.
- If the question does not return, quit Safari and put back another file.

Thunderbird comes back, lose all of his accounts and Add ons
PC left pending. Wake up, found Thunderbird had "restored" to a State of 'white' (sorry. No other words can think) without all of the accounts, add ons or skins.
Reinstalled. He denounces the path:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile = 1[Profile0]
Name = default
IsRelative = 0
Path=C:\Users\Stephen\Dropbox\Thunderbird\9svecbyf.default
Default = 1Then deleted the "Thunderbird" in "C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Roaming" directory as I did before. However, every time I restart Thunderbird it default to the "C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Roaming" and assume that it is a new installation.
Duh... I'm sorry. Edited the file profiles.ini in the C:\Users... AppData... Homelessness. The fixed. Lost Nostalgy and the skin... but no way. Apologies for wasting all of the time.

How can I DISABLE the module "signature" when I want TO use an older add-on?
I the MAGNIFICENT Add on 1 - ClickWeather and now has a message on the 'signature' module Now... I DON'T want to use a product of INFERIOR quality such as suggested in the name of the add - on.
I would use the add-on that I already have on my Firefox, 1-ClickWeather. So, how can I disable the 'signature' on an individual add-on module? It is said to "Act with caution", but it does not show Me the details of my time. I reinstalled the add-on, but it does not yet record my position.
Yes, I KNOW it is no longer supported, but has always worked until this past Saturday. It was abandoned several years ago but was kept alive by a single poster whose comments have disappeared. I have the add-on on my computer. I continued to update the continuous Firefox updates. Now, I want to again but there's this ridiculous thing on the module "signature" and «proceed with caution...» »
You cannot delete the warning, but in 42 Firefox extension should always work.
