  FIRST: Uninstall IE8 and IE7 if they are installed.  Back to all the way back to IE6.  You want other patches before you get those.  Reboot after doing this.

However, the laptop does not come with any media of Windows 8. My other options (copy windows divide in the SSD or use Windows backup and restore), both result in installing Windows 8 with a lot of software DELL.

  DELL said that they do not have the installation of Windows 8 media and I need to contact Microsoft to get it. Any ideas on how I can go about this? I'm happy to pay a nominal fee for the discs, but having already an OEM of Windows 8 installation, I want to avoid going to the shops and buy a new license.

  Unfortunately, your only option is to create a disk backup and restore using recovery tools provided by Dell and use it to reinstall Windows 8. This is especially true because you run Windows 8, which are not available elsewhere.
