  I use FrameMaker 7.1 and have a paragraph style defined for the bibliography entries. This paragraph style puts an AutoNumber at the end of a paragraph that contains a title of publication. Automatic numbering seems to cause problems of layout with a few more titles long where FrameMaker can keep the title on one line, by compressing the text. If I click the paragraph catalog style several times, FrameMaker alternation to compress the text to fit on a single line, or it displays with standard spread/stretch and allowing the text to run on a new line. This happens even if I try to set the paragraph style so that auto-spacing is not allowed.

  Can anyone help to define a format in which the provision remains stable?

  Thanks for doing the tests and determine that FrameMaker creates a different code for what is supposed to be the same construction. I'm not good with MIF; my suggestion is to do exactly what you did, namely, to compare the code for different views. Others may have sufficient expertise to offer a solution here, but my feeling is that the behavior is different because it's a bug. • How can I make automatic numbering of tables Pages to print?

  I recently change my old macbook to a macbook pro, so now instead of office for mac, I use Pages 5.6.1. and my problem is I can't find no option in the parameters of format that allows me to perform automatic numbering that appears for permanent tables. I'm about to finish my master's thesis, and the reader is oriented to the data displayed in my title tables and the table number line, however, when I print the tables that the numbering never appears. I would have thought about this before, but now it seems a little paradoxical for me to manually have the number of hundreds of lines.

  So: Is it possible to do automatic numbering that appears in the form of guidelines on the tables of the Pages have become permanent, so it gets printed?

  I have a style of paragraph for tutorials in my unstructured FM books.

  In a book, the numbering continues I want increment throughout the book. In another book, tutorial numbering resets 1 in each new chapter.

  First thing to check is automatic numbering for TableTitle format in the catalog of Pará. That's probably not all.

  The table that resets the meter may have a format of Pará, or a substitution, which is using counter T. It could be any text in any cell.

  There might even be an invisible instance, for example, the title of the local table a substitution, but the job title was later set to [Untitled], so that you can't see. You will need to re-enable it to check.

When I use a text for this variable, the numbering created by the original paragraph style disappears from the topic. If I give the leader running his own style of paragraph numbered on the master page, it will always tell '. " 1,"even when the topic changes because there is nothing for him say to start a new number. For my current project, the first sublevel of the section change every 4 or 5 pages.   Variable text header running InDesign cannot capture the numbering of the paragraph.

  To work around it:

  Implementation:

  To create a character style to be used as a style nested within the lower level paragraph style. For testing and editing, assign a color of character; for use, change the color of the characters None or paper.

  To create a cross-reference format that captures only one paragraph Autonumbering.

  Create a character-style-based running header text variable to capture the reference; insert it into the master page.

  Use:

  * At the end of the lower level heading, insert a special character the end Style nested here.

  The cross reference will be the color of the characters of the nested character style "fakednumber".

  The variable based on the character style to a running header text will seize the number of referrals.

  You know what you would think it would be simple to make a numbered list paragraph style.  I created a new paragraph. style is then in the bullets and numbers on the style. Here, I chose dial. When I applied it in 11 paragraphs each begins with 1.

  If I go to the toolbar at the top and click numbered list market then it works as expected. My style of "Numbered list", and then has a +, 'Redefining the Style' is grey so I can redefine to try to fix it.

  You are also asked to do the first line "BOLD". You indicate that it is its own paragraph, so you'll want a paragraph style that includes character attributes and the attributes of type numbered list while you're there. You use character styles only if there is more than one style in the paragraph which is not the case here. And then create a paragraph style second which is indented and non-bold for text "complementary." If you skillfully use the tags 'next paragraph style', you can have styles replacing automatically as you type, then you can apply styles to an entire list with a single command using the context menu command "style Apply, then next style." So, in short, I would use three paragraph styles:

  1 FirstNumberedList style (resets the paragraph style counter next is number 1, "BOLD", "Description")

  Style of description (withdrawal, non-fat, is paragraph style following "NumberedList").

  2 NumberedList style (continue the numbering, "BOLD", is style of following "Description" paragraph)

  Style (even before) description

  3 NumberedList style (the same as before)

  Style description... etc.

  To apply all the styles on a typical previously part of the text in one: select the entire list, and then Ctrl-click on the 'FirstNumberedList' style in the palette paragraph styles, and then choose "Apply"FirstNumberedList"then next Style." The first paragraph will be in the FirstNumberedList format, and all of the following in your choice will have a format based on the "next paragraph style" of the previous paragraph.

  First there a way to accomplish the task (the last part of a sentence or paragraph Autonumbering) without having to 'install' WRC?

  If no, how I would make adjustments so my paragraph Panel produced a WRC option.

  I need a way to add automatic numbering on a page, I know that indesign can add this based on the number of page, but I have to add 2 numbers on the same page.

  So let's say I want to have a page from 10 to 26, I want on page 1 page 2 the numbers 10, 11, 12, 13 numbers and so forth.

  Is it possible to do it automatically and not by hand? I want to add a large number of pages that make it impossible to do it one by one.

  Lists are extremely easy to do in Excel (and most other spreadsheets). Enter the number three trois premieres first in the first three cells in a column, and then select cells and drag the small handful in the lower right of the selection down to automatically fill as the cells that you need. Save as .txt.

  The closest thing would use an update statement in your trigger code...

  And you most certainly not use autonomous transactions within a trigger. It is simply not true, especially when you are trying to manipulate the data on the table of the triggers.
