  You cannot use YouTube videos in iTunes. Videos must be one of the following specific formats: .m4v, .mov or .mp4 (no Flash, Realvideo or WMV). In the Ricky Gervais podcast files are mp4. Files can be hosted on an ordinary web server, but it must be able to manage "byte range requests", something you would need to check with the people who run it.

  Please try to install with a stand-alone Installer. Here is a link to try the download from:

  After clicking on this link, install this software. If this does not work, you then reset IE. In Internet Explorer, go to tools, Internet Options, and then choose the last tab called Advanced, then click the button "Reset". This will restore IE back to the default values.
