The only music that shows it's the music purchased from the iTunes store, but no CD-imports are shown.

  If you have the iTunes database files, launch iTunes with the SHIFT key pressed and select the library that contain. If you can't seem to them, made the iTunes Media folder inside the application window open iTunes or automatically add to iTunes folder; all the old library metadata that are lost.

  Unfortunately, your new Time Capsule is not an iTunes server. This is, in itself, it can not stream audio files stored on the internal hard drive to an AirPort Express or Apple TV point. You will still need to use iTunes on your MBP to do. You would just point to the media library on your Time Capsule in the case of iTunes.
