can I move my directory of my flash drive SSD internal to my internal hard drive using OSZ 10.11
Start getting tight on space and just noticed that my directory where to put the word, excel docs, pdf files, e-mail, etc. is actually on my SSD. I would like to move into my internal hard drive because it is bigger... I can do this without causing havoc on my Mac. I use an iMac 27 "mid-2011 running OS X 10.11.
Thanks for the help.
Yes, it's what I do with a dual SSD/HDD disk configuration.
I keep my iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie libraries on HARD drive.
I also pushed some non-essential app and the files on the HARD drive.
Last but most important, you have a good backup of SSD and HDD...?

I just finished the construction of a new office with 2 internal hard drives: a Crucial SSD of 128 MB and a 1 TB Samsung HDD. I loaded my programs commonly used on the SSD more fast and Windows 7 (64-bit) and to use a lot more big HARD drive to store data and programs less commonly used. I transferred all my data in my old desktop using Windows Easy Transfer, but it would only allow me to transfer data to my system drive / C: (SSD) boot. So now, I want to move my data files on my D: drive. Windows will allow me to move the folders and files on an external drive, but apparently only will allow me to copy on the D: drive. Which means I have to delete all the files copied from the C: drive to D:. This certainly isn't a huge problem, but I wonder if there is a way to just move all the files, rather than copy/delete. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

Why don't you just cut & paste?
Open Windows Explorer, select the files you want. If you want to select all files in a given folder, press Ctrl + A (this will select all THE files & folders).
Press the ALT on your keyboard and you will see the Edit menu (see the screenshot below).
Select "cut".
Now, go to your destination folder and press the ALT key again. Click on the Edit menu.
Select "Paste".

Can I save a document to a flash drive and bring it into a store and print? or my document still has to connect to the internet to print?
Well Yes, the flash player works for me. Just make sure that the images are in a format that store recognizes, such as jpg. Many shops (most?) don't recognize the psd format.

Error 0 x 80070570 when you access my flash drive using windows 7
I get an error 0 x 80070570 when you access my flash drive using windows 7, but the same flash drive works perfectly on two other PC's with Windows XP. It's frustrating because I need to backup and transfer files.
Hello1 you get an error message with this error code?
2. is it a problem with this particular flash drive only or all flash drives?
Let us run the check disk utility.
Here's how:
a. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
b. click the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
c. click on the Tools tab and then, under error-checking, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.
To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
d. Click Start.
Depending on the size of your drive, it may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.
Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
I hope this helps.Thank you, and in what concerns:

In general, even if the pictures are on iCloud, there are still a few miniature photos stored locally on the device.
Also, iPhoto, it has own trash and Photos keeps the deleted photos for 30 days unless yo umanually remove them

Can I save my files to a flash drive?
How can I save my files on a USB?
Hello! @# $% ^ & * () _ + (I hear ya!).
Are you referring to the files in your Acrobat.com account? If so, you can log into your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/files and select the files you want to download/save to a flash drive. By default, they have to download in your downloads folder. From there, you can move them to a flash drive.
Best,
Sara

Why can't I burn pictures to a Flash Drive in Vista?
Right now, I have Vista 32, but waiting for delivery of a new laptop Dell Inspiron 5720 with Windows 7 in a few days. I want to burn my photos on a Flash drive, so I can save it in my new computer, but when I click on
in the Photo Gallery it can burn only on DVD or CD. I want to burn my albums, Picasa 3 and photo gallery Windows for flash drives because I expect a new computer Monday, and I don't want to lose my pictures. The flash drive is not recognized by the computer and I can't find any way to give the command burn in Picasa! Photo Gallery Burns only on DVD or CD, and I have therefore tried to use a Memorex Flash drive and it is not recognozed by my computer, even though an 'unspecified reader' shows
Hoping someone can help me preserve my memories, please. I have burn aware in my programs, but it's not helping!
Vista, IE Explorer 9.0.9

What files can I move my C disk shrinking that my huge J part of my hard drive partitioned.
I know that I can move my multimedia files and I still do, but my drive C guard decreases, and I don't know why. I don't know what files it is safe for me to pass. Can anyone help?
Hello
do not disable the system restore
You can delete all but the last restore point instead. read information from disk cleanup
and limit the system restore how space uses; tutorial information below
and read this link about what files you can move to another partition
You can't move programs, but you can uninstall them and when reinstall head must be installed on your partition
Move your folders and files of the user to a different partition
http://www.vista4beginners.com/move-user-files-folders-to-another-partition
see if this program helps you to determine what is take up space
http://www.Jam-software.com/treesize_personal/
by default system restore will have up to 15% of the capacity of the hard disk
you would like to reduce this amount
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76227-system-restore-disk-space.html
http://www.vista4beginners.com/system-restore-space-used
also use disk cleanup
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup
The other Options tab is available when you choose to clean up the files of all users on the computer. This tab includes two additional ways to free disk space even more:
Programs and features. Open programs and features in Control Panel, where you can uninstall programs you no longer use. The column size in programs and features shows how much disk space each program uses.
System Restore and shadow copies. Guests delete you all but the most recent restore point on the disc.
also scan for malware
Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php
and read these information from microsoft on windows optimization
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/optimize-Windows-Vista-for-better-performance
and you might want to have look at this too
If C: and d: are adjacent to other partitions on your hard drive read this:
