  It is a wrong answer to the question. QuickBooks 2010 cannot be installed from the CD because the CD tries to install Flash and Flash is already built into Windows 8. The solution is to download QuickBooks from Intuit web site and install the downloaded version. It installs without problem and works very well.   It can also be a problem with the game running through Facebook server.  I noticed a difference in great step lately with Farmville on Facebook compared to when I started playing.  You should check to see if it seems to be the same on the other PC.  I noticed the problem on several machines in different places, so I know that it was not limited to a PC.

  You can try the following and link methods under each method for more information on the same and see if one of them solve the problem.

  Method 1: Start the computer in last good known Configuration

   

  1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  Click the button start , click the arrow next to the button lock , then click on restart.

  1. Do one of the following:

  ·         If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

  ·         If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start, and then press F8.

  1. In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to select last good known Configuration and press ENTER.
  2. If your computer has multiple operating systems installed, use the arrow keys to select the operating system that you want to start using the last good known Configuration, and then press ENTER. Windows will then resume starting normally.

  4 log your computer with a user account with administrator rights.

  When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of the screen. To leave safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.

  Using a Linksys WPSM54G. Working on my old WinXP, bought a new laptop with Win7. Tried to set up as a TCPIP will still not connect. Have seen a lot of posts on this issue, but can't get it on my pc.

  After reading the endless forums on this topic and try LPR printing as proposed (without success), I finally found a simple solution to get the WPSM54G print server work on Windows 7 (64 bit in my case version). Simply download the latest driver for the Lnksys site.  Once you have unzipped the download, right-click on Wizard.exe, select Properties, click the result, then check the compatibility mode box and select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).  When you run the Configuration Wizard and click on Computer Configuration, instead of the boring message "OS not supported", the driver installation ends normally and you can start printing.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.
