Can I recover music from a broken ipod?
Hi all
Here is a shot in the water. I bought an ipod touch 1st generation when they released first. One day while in the car my iTrip shorted out and is no longer power on. It been years but I recently found in a box and remembered the great music I had on this subject. The obvious question is "you do not have a backup of it on your PC or Mac? And the answer is no. The laptop that I had at the time thus crashed with all the files on his hard drive.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance
If iTunes detects the iPod then:
Recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device
otherwise, your only hope is a data recovery company

You should really have your iTunes library on your computer and keep a current backup of it. iDevices are not designed or adapted for the storage of data in the long term. See the tips to the user of turingtest2 on recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device for a list of tools and methods (for Windows and Mac) that can be used to copy media from your iPod to your computer.

How can I transfer music from my music on windows desktop running 10 to my new iPod 5 Please?
Hi patrickfromleeds,
Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.
I see you want to sync music to your new iPod touch. If you have a subscription to Apple's music, you can use iCloud music library to keep your music to date. If you do not, you can synchronize by plugging your iPod into your computer, then sync to iTunes. Have fun with your new iPod!

How can I transfer music from my iPod to Windows Media Player?
WMP is not built-in iPod support, so you will need to use another media player, such as iTunes or Winamp, to get the music from the iPod to the PC (I don't know if iTunes will allow you to do, but Winamp will certainly be).
If you then copy the music files to your personal music collection, they appear automatically in the WMP library.

You can save the music from itunes with the sound recorder?
You can save the music from itunes with the sound recorder?
The principle is simple in nature, although the tape recorder is not the best option available for you, even in free software for audio recording you can.
If you want to use sound recorder, you will need to get a 1/8 inch male-male stero (cable basically a helmet with two male ends) and put one of your speakers into your microphone in the port (line in).
Then open sound recorder and give it a shot. The recorded files will be in .wav format, so you need to get a freeware to convert to program them to .mp3 if necessary. Or use this:
You can also use Windows Media Encoder 9, which in my opinion is much better in features and maintaining the quality. It is freely accessible to the public.
You use the same configuration that with tape recorder, get a stereo cable and speaker output connection > microphone.
