Can I search for a word in the description of a bookmark?

When I add a bookmark, I often add a description.
Another reason why a lot of my favorites are the descriptions is that I am an old user of delicious and I imported these bookmarks in Firefox.
So I would like to search for words that I wrote in the description, because the description is often more significant than the label, the name or the URL.
But unfortunately Firefox does not resemble the description during the search in bookmarks.
Nor find any extension.

A backup of bookmarks HTML includes descriptions, so you could open such a backup in a tab and use the search bar to search the page.

You can make Firefox create an automatic HTML (bookmarks.html) backup when you exit Firefox, if you set the pref to true on the subject browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML: config page.

This backup is created by default in the profile as bookmarks.html folder whenever you close Firefox, but you can set the file name and the path through the pref browser.bookmarks.file on the topic: config page.

The pref browser.bookmarks.file does not exist by default and you must create a new pref to string with the name browser.bookmarks.file and set the value to the full path of the file backup bookmarks including the name of the file.

I realize that I have to split the sentence search and search on these two words, but not very well what is the right way to do it. I also wanted to strip of common words (IE, a, etc.) of the expression of research if it does not return loads of results. I prefer to keep if possible in sql (not verity)

  • I just find that I can't search for jpeg files in the Finder.

I am totally stumped.  If I try to search for a folder full of images JPEG, nothing doesn't come, no matter what terms, I used.  Anyone find this?  No idea why this is happening?  It's a quirk of the Mac?

I do not get this question at all.  I just did a search in a complete Finder of jpg file and I was able to use different terms to find some files.  Are you making sure you're looking this particular folder and not to the Mac?

  • How can I search for and work in the card module without losing my selection

I'm going through my old photographs which predate the geolocation and adding my best guess as to their sites via the card module, but I'm frustrated.

My biggest fear is selections.  In the library module, I look at and find a set of photographs that were taken at the same place and I select them.  I then go to the card module and move found, sometimes look, the place where the photographs were taken.  Now I'll return to drop the selection in the map and... OH NO.... There is no selection.  Double angst is I click back in the library and I scrolled to the beginning of my group of photographs.

Deselect photos is the biggest mistake of the UI that Lightroom is making in this sequence.  I wonder if there is something I can do to avoid it being may have a second method of a quick temporary group of photographs.

The other related question I have, is if someone has a suggestion of how to mark these photos as the type of GPS data.  for example, it could come from the camera, it could come through a trace log, or maybe it's just my best guess.  Maybe it is already possible to determine.

When you find the photos you want to taken in one place, select them, then put them in a quick Collection (press B)

Select the quick Collection, then go to the card with the film Module running. You will then be able to work ONLY with this series of photos that are taken in the same place

I mean imagine in windows, through the web page, you need to find the word "except", if you come to use the Toolbox in the browser and type except to indicate each word "except" in this page and highlight it. Is there a similar option for safari for Mac too?

  • How can I search for hexadecimal number of 32-bit in .csv file

    Hello

How can I search for 32-bit in .csv file usinf labview 8.6.1 hexadecimal number

    Mathan,

This post was not really a solution.  He just ordered Sandy to post in the appropriate forum, which we now know is LabVIEW 8.6.1 LV.

    Sandy,

You want to read the text file, then use the search/Split String function to find the matching characters that make up your hexagonal pattern.

What you ask is a little strange wordly since .csv files are text files, and you ask a "32-bit hexadecimal number.  Can you give an example of what you are looking for?  My response assumes you have a 8 string that consists of the characters 0-9, A - F for catch the 4 bytes.  Maybe you are dealing with just 4 bytes that present themselves as ASCII characters in a text file.  In which case you wouldn't have one. CSV file.

If the response of research/Split String is not useful to you, you will need to provide details about what you are looking for and also an example of your. CSV file.
