  It is a wrong answer to the question. QuickBooks 2010 cannot be installed from the CD because the CD tries to install Flash and Flash is already built into Windows 8. The solution is to download QuickBooks from Intuit web site and install the downloaded version. It installs without problem and works very well.   I think you have three choices-

  1 download LR - 4.4.1 and install with your LR-4 serial key. Adobe - Lightroom: for Windows

  2. buy a "Standalone" LR-6/CC upgrade. You will need your new LR-6 keys and LR-4.

  3. buy a subscription to LR - CC.

  Your LR - 4 key will work for up to LR 4.4.1 updates

  I came across this last week as well when I change the password and add a test profile. That's what I did:

  1. Removed from the account Options/Preferences > Sync
  2. I've compiled a profile folder, do this a habit of losing the school documents.
  3. Added the account again and went to accounts.firefox.com
  4. Logged on this page and I saw the "your sync will begin momentarily.
  5. Waited about 5 minutes for the first synchronization by default.
  6. Then you click on tools > synchronize now

  After that I saw my data and everything was in sync with the other profiles.
