Can I use a USB B Female adapter USB A Female in a HP Pocket Media Bay?

Can I use a USB B Female adapter USB A Female to transform the unused HP Pocket Media Bay of a s3230uk in an area of loading of MP3?

Surely a small load player would take less power, then a HARD drive?

I can confirm it works and is a good way to make use of the space.

  • Can I use two USB 6211 to replace a USB-6009

    Hello

I got a labview vi., 5 output channels digital, 2-channel digital input, 2 analog inputs are necessary for the execution of this vi.  Initially a 6009 usb is used to run the vi. But I have only two usb ports 6211 now, which has digital to digital for each data acquisition 4 inputs and 4 outputs. I wonder, can I use two usb 6211 to run the vi. ? What should I do?

Reverse lines are wrong, does that mean it will display 0 for false and 5 V 1.

Active drive is the normal mode of the digital output: it generates tension when said.

I forgot one thing: that you are behind the wheel of these lines, how much power do you need?

Analog output is less powerful, it can give only 2-4 mA, while the digital output 6009 could give 8 my.

  • Can I use a USB Flash drive?

    Windows XP Professional - SP3 - Version 2002

Can I use a USB Flash drive to increase memory? My machine has 512 MB of RAM, and I have a 1.80 GHz CPU Celeron (r) processor.
From what I've researched, because my OS is Windows XP and I have 512 MB of RAM, I cannot use a 4 GB Flash drive.
I use a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and lots of sample packs and I have need of more memory. My machine is maxed out at 512 MB of RAM.
If I buy a 4 GB Flash drive, can I load my DAW on the Flash drive and optimal storage space or should I buy a hard drive to accomplish my problem of not having enough memory?

    Thanks in advance!

512 MB you should be fine for Windows XP. OK, the application may run more slowly than on a modern computer - but performance is reasonable.

Like me, I have a computer with 1 linear array of 512 MB memory and a 128 MB memory chips - making the total up to almost 640MO - but I use Photoshop CS3 on it daily and it works fine for most tasks.

However, if you want to get some further improvements to your computer for the RAM intensive applications performance, I would recommend increasing the virtual memory.

    More about memory virtual here-

    http://ask-Leo.com/what_is_virtual_memory.html

    To increase the virtual memory-

Do a right click my computer > click Properties > Advanced tab > settings under 'Performance' button > Advanced tab in the performance Options window > change button under "virtual memory".

Now select the custom size option.

The options below, you can see some details like -

    Minimum allowed - XX MB

    Recommended - XXXX MB

    Currently allocated - XXXX MB

Make sure that you set the value of initial size (MB) near the recommended space. The value of maximum size to a value much greater than currently allocated space. (But always value less than 2048 maximum size - you don't need that much).

That could give some amount of performance increase - but he won't give you a magical boost of performance.

  • I can't use my USB because of administration system or blocking USB problem.

Because of my ignorance in the use of some security as USB security guard software and changes in my control panel, now I can't access my USB drive or any external memory device. When I put any external memory via USB device, it is noticed that my USB guard is locked and that the system cannot perform it.so contact your system administrator. But I uninstalled all my software security completely and checked my boot settings and the bios and the problem is still there. so I can't use my USB or external memory device via USB port in my laptop. I use the Windows 7 operating system. so please help me through your friendly consultation.

Two thoughts. Take a look at this program and see if it finds the remains of security software http://www.revouninstaller.com/ and also to see what runs in your startup using this program.

  • Can not use the USB ports on my Satellite P10

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite P10 3 years computer that has 3 USB ports. None of them works although the power is coming from them than my external mouse upwards but lights does not work. In Device Manager it says that everything is working ok IE all the drivers, etc. I was told that it's probably the motherboard?

Maplins it's a software problem. I tried a PCI card with USB port but they no longer work. The PCI location is fine but as my wireless adapter card works from there ok. I restored the computer 3 times and each time the USB ports do not work.
Any suggestions? I want to add an external mouse drive DVD etc...

    Any help appreciated... Mark

    Hello

Did you use the clean Toshiba Recovery CD to restore the operating system on your laptop or have you installed the operating system from the original Windows CD.
I advise to use the Toshiba Recovery CD because all the driver and patches installed on this CD.

The USB ports provide a current of 500 ma, and it is a standard. If several external devices connected to ports needs more power as 500mA, then it of possible that the laptop does not detect USB devices several.

In Device Manager, you may turn off the power save the unique option to the USB ports.
You can do this in the properties of the USB port

Additional I advise to use a USB hub with external power clean.
These devices are not very expensive and will allow you to connect and use several devices together.

  • Can I use a USB keyboard (cable or wireless) with my KDLNX810 TV?

My Sony KDLNX810 USB ports, it can be used with a USB cable or a wireless keyboard? I tried with a wireless keyboard and access to youtube, without success. Is there a driver or something that needs to be configured? Or it just doesn't work?

I also tried to find a remote control (iphone) app, but have not found a for this model.

    Thank you

    Hello Duane,

Welcome to the community of Sony.

Wireless keyboards are not compatible with the TV.

However, you can use the 101 wired USB keyboard keys with the TV.

This TV only has not the function distance media. Therefore, it can be controlled using the remote application of media.

Please mark it as "acceptable Solution" If you find this information useful.

    Kind regards

  • Can I use a USB hub to connect to more of a GPIB-USB-HS USB ports?

I have an instrument that has a GPIB-USB-HS connected and the USB cable is connected to a USB hub. Can I have multiple computers to connect with USB hub in their respective USB ports? If so, how many computers can I connect using the USB cable?

I downloaded the latest Driver NI-VISA from the Web site.

You must first a hub which allows to switch between multiple PCs and PCs as one would at once be connected and in control.

When you buy this particular type of hub, one of the specifications is how many pc connections there.

Please let me know if I can use a USB key/Dongle USB in "Micro USB 2.0 port" for the transfer of data.

    Hello

You can use a flash drive to speed up the system performance. It is not as fast as RAM memory, but it helps.

The flash player must be permanently attached to the SUST.

Connect the player to a USB port.

Open Windows Explorer, right click the drive and select Properties.

    Click the Readyboost tab.

The system will determine if the drive can be used for Readyboost you can select the configuration options.

There is a good article that explains exactly how it works in the following link.

By using Windows ReadyBoost to increase the performance of Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista:

  • Can I use a USB pedals to control Play, Pause and reverse in first Pro CC?

What I can or ever be able to use a USB pedals to control Play, Pause and reverse in first Pro CC?

This would specifically for the production of subtitles.

Play... listen... pause... translate... repeat, repeat, repeat etc...

First looks almost as good as MacCaption if it had the ability to use a pedal USB instead of the JKL keys it could make it much more user-friendly for our Transcriber of closed caption.

It must use the keyboard to type or transcript and must switch from windows by clicking on the window, she needs to handle.

IF she could continue to type and use only the pedal to play, pause, reverse the playback head and still be able to keep typing in its captions window that would greatly simplify the process.
