  Which carriers do you use?  CDMA carriers (Verizon, Sprint, etc) cannot handle data while on a voice call, unless you have a Wi - Fi.

  In this situation, I would try to remove the malware as a cause of the problem.

  Your system should be able to use one of these modems of type. I would check the motherboard of the system to make sure that you have a PCI slot or available PCIe and then you can order one that will work in your system.

  I'll assume that you have installed in your computer and Bluetooth phone.
