  I hope someone can clarify this matter for me.  I think to buy Adobe AE, and I am qualified to purchase the student and Teacher Edition software (I have BOTH a teacher AND a student).  There seems to be so many choices, though: Design Standard, Design Premium and Production Premium.  There is also a Master Collection, but that one is too expensive for my budget, while that one leaves.  Are the editions for teachers and students the same as the editions that are not marketed for educators?

  If you need EI and you are not a Master Collection, your only option is to Production Premium. Just make sure to check if your computer's specifications are sufficient...

  The same software is only the pricing/license that is different.  So yes, you will get all updates and can reinstall later.

• Can I use the old sndrec32.exe (comes with XP) in Windows 7 and Vista?

  SNDREC32.exe was demand for Sound Recorder in XP and it changed to SoundRecorder.exe in Vistra and Windows 7.

  The new version will allow to record more than one minute of audio, but (as with most things in life when something is given something is removed). The new version cannot be used in Word to easily enter audio commentaries that are built into Word.

  I recently did a clean install of Yosemite on my MacBook AIr. Now I want to reinstall Adobe CS 5.5 student & Teacher Edition. My MacBook Air has no DVD drive, I tried the download and activation https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-5-product-downloads.html. However, the license key is invalid. I guess it's because of the differences between a normal and educational version.

  How can I better fix? Should I download the version of students / teachers and if so, where to go?
