Can no longer see the network icon in the notification area...

OK, if one day I had an update alert Active on the lower right corner of my screen of my laptop. It was to download the new version of AIM-we said that your update is available, or something like that. I clicked on 'Install now' and went through the process with the GOAL. When I arrived at the end of the process, he said that everything was installed and I'm ready to go. Then when I restarted my computer, nothing has changed in GOAL it was always exactly the same as it was before I tried to install the software and my Internet connection / network connection icon is missing from the notification area next to where the time is displayed.

I searched and searched through my computer trying to turn it back on right click on the bar tasks then go to the menu to set the network connection icon to 'active' again, but he wasn't there. I have no idea how to do to reactivate it, and I need in my notification area because I would like to know when and what network I'm connected to. I need help! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Beth

  • Unable to set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - can no longer see the volume control line after developing the clip. What could be the problem? This seems to be the problem on any project that I opened.

Cannot set keyframes in the audio clip selected with the pen tool - cannot see even the line volume control more to set keyframes on having developed the clip. What could be the problem?  I use the first CC pro @.

You can use the Ctrl key and then click with the regular selection tool, clicking with ctrl will make a new keyframe. in this way, have no need for the tools. CTRL has other great shortcuts that will stop you having to spend retouching pads tools too.

If the automation keyframe line is missing, you can switch on and off in the menu sequence.

  • Vista will not display the network icon in the Notification area.

IM my notification area network icon disappeared, and when I go to the right click > properties > Notification area to try to solve this problem, the check box on the notification tab, because the network is grayed and I can't click on it.  Vista has done this before with the icon of power, but it seemed to resolve itself. It has been a few days and a few reboots now, however, and the problem persists. What can I do to try to solve this problem?

  • I no longer see the splash screen

    Hello

I was wondering if there is a problem?

When I start my pc, I don't see the initial start up screen (where you see the pc that runs through the quotes - before loading windows) - I wanted to install a card from the PCI (replacing the edge - but can not access the splash screens to turn off the sound of the OB) - is there a problem with my pc? or how to get back this splash screen?

    Thank you

Check your computer or motherboard - sometimes the boot options Manual
screen can be hidden, but even if it does not appear you can still access
the configuration screen of the BIOS by pressing the correct key.

  • Current Volume icons, network, disappear from the notification area.

I know that microsoft has heard this problem many times that I read many forums to ask this question.
    I went to this link
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/945011
and used the microsoft fix and it worked for a few weeks, but then the icons disappeared again.
I tried the Microsoft fix it once more and restarted my computer, but it did not work.
so I tried to fix it manually by removing the two registry subkeys, restart explorer.exe, and then I restarted my computer.
still no effect. I also understand that the icons disappear only on this computer user, the user can see the icons in the notification area.

If this happens only to a single user...
You might want to try to create a new profile for this particular user. The profile may be damaged.
