Can not access the updates after clean install of Windows 7 Pro
I have formatted my hard drive digital, preformed a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. Everything went well and OS seems to be properly authenticated.
The question is not able to 'find' updates. At startup, the message: NEW UPDATES AVAILABLE. When I check the updates, the process runs "forever" and never completes the process. The problem would be to my use of Office 2003? I have installed for messaging and Outlook calendar. Here's the MGADiag.exe diagnostic tests.

You can ignore the text that says it's for network installations and also ignore the text advising windows/microsoft update if a single update of a PC.
This should move your 0x8024400A problem. So try and get up-to-date with the Windows updates. You will probably have to go through Genuine Windows Validation.

OK I found the problem... .your certificate you use to reader extend the document has expired. See attached screenshot. I guess you are using a trial version of Acrobat and it's how you drive extended the doc.

FIRST: Uninstall IE8 and IE7 if they are installed. Back to all the way back to IE6. You want other patches before you get those. Reboot after doing this.
You are not the first to ask questions about how to upgrade a clean Windows XP - not even installation in the last week. In fact, I will just cut and paste my answer here... here:

Hello! I found a problem with my system: when a user logs off Windows 7 x 64 session, the rest can not access the internet, until restarted network card. Reinstall NIC driver did not help. Windows cannot automatically fix this problem after trying to diagnose a problem with his problem Diagnostic tool. -Press on F8 laptop computer power on.

I think you're DIY too. Normally, your computer and your wireless router assign dynamic IP addresses, and they change periodically - that is part of the security design.
In your case, the DNS server is the router.

- Your Internet service provider is down or your connection to it is broken. If this is the case there is nothing you can do about it.
