  I have no sound on my computer. When I go into Control Panel, volume control, it I cannot adjust the volume control. I have my computer set up for automatic downloads of microsoft, so I can't tell what I recently downloaded.

You need to retrieve sndvol32.exe is your partition recovery or recovery disc that came with your computer.   I have an Aspire laptop 5733Z and I love her dearly.  Recently, I lost the ability to adjust the volume using the Fn key keyboard shortcut with upward or down arrow keys.  I have uninstalled and installed the Realtek HD driver.  I called technicians to Answersby.com and they couldn't help.  Did anyone out there has had this problem and is there a solution.  Thank you for your assitance on it.  Ron

• I can not adjust the size of the window for Firefox on OSX 20 after update

  After updating to the latest version of FF, I can no longer adjust the size of the window. I tried to click and drag the four corners of the window, but it remains the same size. Before the update I could adjust the size of the window. I tried rooting around in the topic: configuration settings but have not been able to find something that would determine the size of the window being locked to certain dimensions. I have also reset firefox to its default settings and this does not resolve the issue.

  Try to disable the use of Firefox graphics acceleration hardware.

  You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Firefox menu > Preferences > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?

  Thanks for the comments. I ended up calling the technical support due to the problem of 'delay' I had. This issue has proved to be a .dat file that is corrupted. Then we addressed the issue of the chronology of resizing and it works very well on a new file, but not the one I work in. Thus, we concluded that this problem is actually a piece of corrupted data.

  Hi StevenD, have you followed the steps in adjusting the size of grid alignment for the current VI? I don't see the error here. Is this reproducible error if you close and then reopen the LabVIEW?

  If you use Windows Media Player to play the file, then try these steps and check the result.
  Step 1: Check Windows Media Player video playback settings
  a. Click Start, type of media player, and then click Windows Media Player.
  b. click the ALT on the keyboard to display Tools menu, click Options.
  c. click on the performance tab.
  d. under reading video and DVD, check if "Enable DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" is selected. If this is not the case, then select it.
  e. click ok to apply the changes.
  f. close media player and check the result.
   
  Step 2: Check the updates of Windows to see if there is an update available for your video card

  b. follow the instructions to install the update of the driver.
   
  Step 3: If your driver software update does not resolve the problem, try to reduce (or turn off) video hardware acceleration by following these steps.

  The standard font for the sliders control in Windows 7 is too small for me.  Under XP, I used to have control over the size of the people but not now.  I mean the arrows up and down cursors that pop up on some pages that allow to go up or down scrolling.  I s it possible in Windows 7?

  I 5.6 LR on my desktop and have just updated to LR Mobile 1.2.0 on my iPad (iOS 8 update).  I am now unable to change one of the photos that have been previously synchronized before the updates being installed.  The photos are there, but the adjustment strips are grayed out.  New update of collections synchronized post work OK.  I have reset the sync settings from LR as my iMac system library files, but it makes no difference.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
