  I tried to download the latest firmware for a few weeks.  Download simply told to leave, and then times out after a few minutes.  The download page shows that 1.2.10 version was published on 02/09/2008 and I can download the information/notes very well.

  Probble because it is on an FTP server and the RVS4000 cannot FTP at all.  Once I got to spend 1.2 FTP now works fine. I had to download it from my office, rather than at home.  I must say, now FTP works fine.  They did a really great job on this version of the firmware.

  Of origin ATI/nVidia drivers are not designed for Toshiba laptops.
  ATI drivers can be used on desktop computers.
  The drivers of Toshiba graphics card supports thermal protection which is necessary to avoid the increase in temperature.
  Laptops, graphics cards do not have huge as cooling office modules graphics cards and therefore the GPU driver control the performance of the graphics card.

  What you could do is to check the site driver for 3rd party such as;
  www.OmegaDrivers.net.

  But the non-Toshiba drivers may be used only at your own risk!

  Be aware that the latest firmware has been released prior release of El Capitan and therefore not formally scheduled for the operating system, although likely, it should work.

  Oracle WebLogic Portal. I assume you mean WebCenter portal.

  Make RCU you are only for creating schemas that use Oracle products.

  Summarizing the steps you have:

  -Install Oracle WebCenter content.

  -Install the SST to enable inline Portal-Content editing.

  -Add cookie-path to your portal in case being a portal application framework Application. With this he will not lose the current session.

  If you have only 1 instance "orcl" then the oratab file should have only 1 entry - only for "orcl". Along, only one instance "myodb" {with the db_name "myodb"} must be started.
  The database Instance is identified by the SID - IE the ORACLE_SID.

  Normally, the SID and DB_NAME are the same - and they do like default value is the same when you run dbca. You have changed probably manually the db_name in dbca.

  If the listener is running on port 1521 and is started before the database instance, the database instance automatically saves with the listener. If the listener is started after the database instance, and then the command 'ALTER SYSTEM REGISTER' in the database instance indicates PMON to register with the listener.
  If you do not want to depend on the automatic check of the database with the listener instance, then you can include the information database (SID!) in the listener.ora. In addition, which would be caused if the listener is not on the default port 1521.

  A database can contain multiple schemas - each schema is a different database account. In other implementations of database (non-Oracle), what is called a "database", it is called a 'plan' in Oracle - but that is created as a database account.
