can not find the wireless network

Hello

I hope someone can help. Today, I got a new installed wireless router. Until now my main and most recent computer can connect to the internet fine (so I know this isn't a network problem), but my old computer does not find the network when scherching of available networks, it may pick up other networks and communicate with them simply not my own. It is the first time that I am trying to connect to this wireless computer.

The computer is a HP pavilion t770.uk Windows xp sp3.

You need to replace the network adapter. The current NIC is older than the specification of N, so it can not communicate with this Protocol.

You can try to configure your router and the new pc to use b, if they allow.

  • I installed Windows XP Home Edition. Can not find the wireless network drive

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?

  • Printer HP Officejet 6100 (h611a) can not find the WiFi network

My printer HP Officejet 6100 has recently lost its eprint connection and would not reconnect.  I asked for help and told

try to use an IP address manually.  I tried this according to the instructions provided to me for the manual IP address, subnet mask and so on.  I selected apply.

The restarted printer and now the printer cannot be found or will not connect to my

    wireless network.

I tried to power on the printer, the modem and the router so that it would reset but the printer would not still find or connect to the wireless network.  The little blue light on the printer for wireless connection just continues to blink.

Because it connects to the wireless network I can not go back in the server web part to cancel the IP address manually and other changes.

Is there a way I can reset this?  Or get my printer to connect to the wireless network.

  • Wireless laptop can not find the wireless Officejet 6700 printer

My laptop can't find my wireless printer Officejet 6700.  Printer is on the wireless network but the laptop cannot find it.  Laptop the wireless.  Have cisco router on my NBN skymesh satellite.  Have you tried printer setup in the control message panels reads:-printer is not found.  Using windows 7.  Have tried to use scan doctor, turning his router unpluging printer and electrical power to the router. Still no luck.  Printer is about 1 meter portable.  Do I have to set up a home network and connect like that.

If you can easily plug the printer into the router using an Ethernet cable, who always beats wireless!  Try it!

If your laptop does not have Bluetooth built in, it is possible to install Bluetooth connectivity using an external Bluetooth USB adapter.

If you have not, look here

  • Can not find the 2nd network card

    Hello

I am running Server 2008 R2 on a virtual machine Workstation 8. I have two network cards on the physical basic machine (a regular cable and one wireless).

However, I don't see the adapter wireless on my vm 2008. Literally, on the basic professional regular W7 OS, I see two adapters network from the Device Manager, but only the wired adapter from the Device Manager on the guest OS 2008.

I have as full Server 2008 network settings.

The two cards are activated in the base OS (in the case that has something to do with it).

I would be grateful for any ideas about whyh, I see only the an adapter of my vm. Thank you!

VMware has only a wired Ethernet adapter to the virtual machine, and if you want a WiFi network card in the virtual machine, then you will need to provide your own USB WiFi network adapter.

If you're just trying to use the network adapter WiFi from the host to the bridge of one of the VMnets him and then use the virtual network Editor to remove the automatic bypass on VMnet0 and assign it the target adapter network host of choice.

    Hi omsaini,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

Sorry to hear that you have to connect to a wireless network adapter trouble.

To help you further on this subject, it would have been really helpful for us if you had

mentioned a few details such as:

    (1) is there an error message you get when you try to connect to the internet?
    (2) is the persistent problem with all browsers installed on the machine?
    (3) what is the brand and the type of the network adapter (whether ADSL or an adapter included)?

However, there are a few steps that we can try first:

    a. the following link has a very good tutorial on how to install a network adapter on the computer:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/is-is/Windows-XP/help/networking/install-wireless-network-adapter
(Note: the link is for Windows XP but works for Windows thus 7\8)

    b. the following link provides a holistic approach for DIY difficulty on the connectivity of Windows:

    c. also, you can visit the following links as well:

  • Can not find the driver for my Satellite M40X-161 WLAN

    Hello

I have a problem, I have the new system installed on my laptop - windows xp and I can't find a CD with drivers. I tried to download the drivers from the internet, but can not find the drivers for my laptop. I am looking for the drivers for the wireless card and it is not on Toshiba s page.

There are only drivers for windows vista - I tried, but it did not work. The other problem is that I don't know is my wireless card. At the back of my laptop it has the info that I have peripheral radio ar5bmb-43, but I can not find the drivers for this device.

Can someone help me to find drivers?
    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find out what WLAN card is inside, but it must be Atheros or Intel, so I recommend you try to install the two drivers for Windows XP Home edition.

Two of them you can find on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads Portal Toshiba WLAN
Try to install Windows XP Home version for Atheros 9.2.0.419.0 or Windows XP Home version 9.0.4.39 for Intel.

    Please post comments.
