Can not install windows KB973917 update and getting error code 8000FFF

I have a toshiba satellite A505 with Windows Vista 64-bit and 4 GB of RAM.  I can't install the windows KB973917 update and getting error code 8000FFF.  I have tried everything to fix it, but have had no luck.  Someone had the same problem?

A few suggestions here: http://taurarian.mvps.org/WU_Vista/8000ffff.htm
