  The answer could be Yes and no. VeriStand gateway must be run as a process to manage the communication with the target. Yet, VeriStand window can be hidden somehow by launching the bridge program. This is a feature not supported from now, but you can read this thread !

  I bought a new HP Pavilion a6803w Desktop PC model.  Installed a webcam, microphone, fax / scanner-printer etc..   I downloaded the game Flat Out Ultimate Carnage of Direct2Drive.com.  The game plays very well. I had to sign up for windows LIVE to play the game.  Everything about the game works... but I can't chat with anyone using my microphone,... its all just impossible,... I tried all the options before you contact these people in Helsinki in Finland!    Maybe it's what I have to do eventually.  Everyone in any given room can discuss "verbally" over their pickups, if they want, but I can not... I contacted specialists computer and even could not understand...!      I have Microsoft Vista Edition home premium 64... Just don't find this stupid micro bit!   Someone who knows someone who knows this problem... I would be very pleased to entrance!  Pullin my hair out here... Thank you!!!   After reading your post, it seems that your headset\mic works with other programs, and you have only one problem with FlatOut.  If this is the case, then you can try a few things.  You can perform a clean boot on your system.  This will help determine if other software can be the cause of the problem.  If you do not have to uninstalled\re the game you can also try it as well.  Remove the game from your system, use The Windows Installer Cleanup utility , and then restart your system and re - install the game.  Check also that all your hardware drivers are up to date.

  In order to communicate with an external sensor via CAN, it is likely that you will need to set up a database BOX. You can create this with the OR-XNET database editor that is included with the XNET driver. The data BOX is responsible for converting frames in 'real' values (see: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/2732/en/#toc6). This also means that you can add a frame/signal to VeriStand. In doing so, signal will appear as a channel in the environment in which you can get (or set) the value of the channel in the VeriStand workspace.

  You can see that the manufacturer of the external sensor will provide a database or the scale that is required to convert the images into meaningful data. It is very unlikely that this will correspond to the sample database.

  Journal of tiara Bus converter allows to take the raw image data and convert it acquisition AFTER meaningful data. You will always need a data BOX to do this.

  To sum up: you can acquire data from a database, but you will have the raw images, which may not mean something to you. If you create a database, you will be translated these frameworks of the relevant data.

  This will not change anything, except less secure your network.  The encryption method does not affect the rest of the internet connections, and you indicate that you are connected to WiFi.

  I have a couple of PCs.

  An upgrade from 8.1 64-bit. The other is Windows 7 ultimate (64 bit).

  I bought Officejet 4630 at the end of September.

  So far I have not been able to print from a reliable PC at all.

  Sometimes maybe a page can be printed, but if I try the next page. The print queue seems to get hung.

  Worse, on a PC (Win7 64-bit upgrade), I can not connect with USB at all.

  Immediately after installing the driver, it fails to "print test page"? What gives?

  (I have not tried the USB connection with other PCs through the situation. He's far away and so connected via radio.)

  Strangely enough, it's the HP printing diagnostic seems to work perfectly. It prints the test page.
