You have a configured antivirus program to analyze the messages, including outgoing mail?  It is the main causes of problems sending, so it is best to remove it from the environment.  Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without any lscanning may feature.  You can also open a command prompt window and see if you can connect to the server and the port you are trying to use.

    C:\ > telnet mailhost.zen.co.uk 25

[Ctrl +] followed by 'Quit' you will get if the connection is successful.

  • Can receive email, but not send, it says incorrect login or password, but it needs people to receive?

MY mini iPad worked fine for a while then when trying to send mail has been a failure, said incorrect login or password. Can I receive ok?

Try resetting your e-mail account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account and the blow to remove. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

  • I can receive emails, but cannot send suddenly.

I can receive emails, but cannot send suddenly.  I get a message of rejected authentication.  It seems to have started after I upgraded to El Capitan.  At that point, I lost all my mails, but they reappeared a few weeks later.  Why I can't send emails?  Once I put them in a folder I can't access it from Xfinity so I can't answer.

Use the Mail connection doctor to make sure that your SMTP server settings are correct.

SMTP means Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, but if you want an easy way to remember what he does - send messages to people.

Mail (El Capitan): Use the connection doctor

You can try to use the e-mail search tool to check the correct e-mail settings.  E-mail service providers change their settings without talking to Apple for the Apple software may be updated.

If Apple does not settings from your e-mail service provider, this means that your email service provider did not give them to Apple.  If this is the case, you will need to contact them and ask for the correct SMTP server settings.

  • I can receive emails, but cannot send on my dell mini that I use when traveling. error-0x800ccc6a

I can receive emails, but cannot send on my dell mini that I use when traveling.   My internet provider (and that of the hotel) said that there
"coming out of email corruption ' ' and must be repaired.   Help

On the road, most of the providers are blocking SMTP Port 25. Frontiernet is no different.

Note that this completely mentions authentication. I would put Frontier and make sure the SMTP port, you need to use. Once changed, it will work in the home and on the road.

I have windows mail and can receive messages but not send, but I can't send when I go on my statement but not my e-mail account window, won't accept my password... was I get hacked or or why?

It seems to work now, so if my emails get screwed up again, I'll take your advice... don't understand why he sends now and am not asking my password as it does... but I don't want to do something that I don't know if it's working now... What do you think?

  • I can receive emails, but cannot send them one of my email gmx accounts

For several weeks now, I was able to receive emails but not send them one of my email gmx accounts. I have 2 gmx e-mail and accounts despite the settings are correct for both, will only send emails. I contacted gmx.fr and they confirm that the settings are correct, but the error message is very strange.

This happens on my iPhone and the iPad, but it's ok on my iMac. I tried to delete the account and add it again

You will need to go to your email account settings and enter a password for your outgoing mail server, same password entering your mail server.

  • Outlook Express 6 problem - the Outbox can receive mail but not send Ox800CCC79 error message

Can receive messages but not send error message Ox800CCC79

This account has already worked? The error message indicates that you are either using Promail and attempts to send via another server, or by using another server and trying to send via Promail. Whatever it is, the error 550 is a refusal to relay messages.

  • Outlook Express 6 - can receive messages but not send - error number: 0x800CCC0E

Original title: Outlook Express 6 - can receive messages but not send

I recently installed SP3 on my Windows XP machine and installed Internet Explorer 8. After that, Outlook stopped mail (still receives, if) and gave me this error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.qmcompany.com', server: 'mail.qmcompany.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

  • Outlook for windows 8.1 - can receive messages but not send

Since the upgrade to windows 8.1, I can receive emails in outlook but not send.

I can always send and discovers the email sent when you use one browser other than

with the software. No error messages, just does not turn off.

This problem usually occurs because your outgoing SMTP server requires authentication, and you do not only active in the settings dialogue box more in your Outlook email configuration.

Your ISP usually have the Outlook settings that you indicated somewhere in its online help pages.

    Who help me?

Second, as with most other ISPS, when you connect outside your home network, you must enable authentication. This thread on another forum detailed the steps of the front:

A solution of authentication of e-mail SMTP (Roadrunner) - precentral Forums

    http://forums.precentral.NET/Palm-pre-tips-information-resources/196918-solution-email-SMTP-authentication-Roadrunner.html

Note that when you are in your home network wi - fi range, these settings may not work. For example,.

    http://forums.Palm.com/Palm/board/message?board.ID=wireless_email&message.ID=9697#M9697

If this does not work, you can relay your mail via a Gmail account. This thread explains:

A little luck? Please report on your solution.

I used Messaging windows for many years and now all of a sudden I have that can receive messages but can't send it I tried everything that the help section nothing. Does anyone have an answer or a suggestion?   Help, please

I don't know your password.  If you have forgotten your password, you need to ask your ISP.  The concept behind a password is that only you know.
