  have beeen fighting with movie maker to convert a project file to a wmv. have followed all the steps of "save computer" but instead to save only "minutes remaining" constantly climbing (in thousands) no save. used wmv files to create project but am worker with a very grumpy xp operating system and does not operate. my last idea is to drag the file from the drop-down list and ask someone to convert it for me using a newer version of MM without my problem and then fall back. is this possible? Notice to lovers? This is a video of 2 minutes for my dad's birthday.

  The following steps may be worth a try...

  In Movie Maker... go... Tools / Options / Compatibility
  tab and disable all filters / OK.

  Try once more to save... also try to save in the. DV - AVI
  format as follows:

  XP Windows Movie Maker 2.1...
  To save a DV - AVI movie file...
  (and other options)
  Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
  to open the wizard movie recording.
  Choose... My computer.
  Next /.
  Enter a name and a location.
  Next /.
  Show more choices.
  Other parameters.
  Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.
  Next /.
  Wait while the movie is saved.
  Finishing...

  If the problem persists... and if you have or can
  acquire copies of the original video files... What follows
  converter can produce better results:

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
  Restore point before installing software or updates)

  Freemake Free Video Converter (freeware)

  If a green install button appears when you launch

  Unfortunately, you can not convert Windows 7 to Windows XP. You will need to perform a new installation of Windows XP (for example formatting partition of Windows 7 and then installing Windows XP).

  Try the Windows XP Mode, which requires Windows 7 Professional or ultimate or business (32-bit or 64-bit, both are supported) where a copy of Windows XP must be installed through Windows Virtual PC. You can install and access the applications in Windows XP Mode.

  Note that the support (currently extended support, support mainline has been terminated already) for Windows XP will end soon.

  Sorry, but CS4 will not work with the Miii D 5. You need a minimum of CS5 with the release of camera raw 6.7 for this camera. Otherwise, as I mentioned in your other post, use the Adobe's DNG Converter.

  If you want 300 dpi, clear, clean, no matter what size you need to keep your layered PSD file where you have your logo in forms and layers of text with layer styles. When you have that you can use the size of the image to create any image size you want and you save a png file.  The logo is quite simple to create with the shape tools, text tools, and the layer styles. http://www.mouseprints.NET/old/DPR/LVCLDecal.PSD make an 8 "300 dpi PNG all you need to do is check resample and constrain the set 8" wide and 300 DPI in the Image Size dialog box. and you get this:
