Can't access Gmail FF31 but can in IE
Clear cookies and history/cache does not help. In reading your forums, it seems to be that a widespread problem so obviously is not as simple as the compensation on things.
This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- Check the permissions on the subject: permissions page and in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.
'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:
- Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.
- Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

I tried to clear the cache and delete cookies from gmail, but none worked. I can access gmail from my phone and through IE but not firefox. I also use the gmail gadget to my igoogle page and it does not work either.
Tried all that precedes, and nothing has worked. I don't think it would be though, it is a new installation of windows 7 with very little installed. I wasn't expecting to find any virus/malware. The only thing found was an adware but removing those does not solve the problem.
Edit: Uninstall and reinstall firefox did not work either.
Edit2: I initially deleted all cookies associated with google and it does not work. I went back and remove all cookies, and it works now. Sorry I don't know what cookie was the cause of the problem. -
Can't access Gmail from Firefox, using my laptop Windows 8.1
Hello
I FVD Speed dial and Eversync installed on my Windows 7 laptop which I use for ages now and never had any problem. One of my speed dials is for my Gmail account, but I can't get into my email on my laptop which has Windows installed from Firefox or Cyrco 8.1 Although I can do without difficulty using Chrome and Opera. On this same laptop (ongoing enforcement W8) everything speed dials are great - it's only the Gmail that does not work and I get the following message:
"The page is not redirecting properly".
Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never end.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."
I tried every simple troubleshooting guide I can find (including going in about: config and make changes there) but nothing works and it seems (from what I've read) does anyone else have this perculiar problem that I am experiencing.
Gmail is one of the dials speed that I use most, it becomes really frustrating and I love this browser so don't want to abandon it, but if I can't solve this problem I'm afraid I'll have to.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you

Pavilion G7: Desktop Applications cannot access the Internet but metro apps can
I have a Windows 8.1. About 5 days ago from desktop applications (IE, Chrome, Google Drive Office) has ceased to be able to access the Internet at all.
However, apps of metro (metro IE, Facebook, Mail, etc.) can still access the Internet.
How could it happen? That the two environments use different settings? Is there a setting or registry entry that applies only to the desktop environment?
Analyses of viruses and malicious software (Malwarebytes and Windows Defender respectively) were not able to do what anyone. But since they are two desktop applications they have not been able to update their files of signatures since this problem started.
I found the answer on the Microsoft site on this topic.
The answer is to reset Winsock using this command from an administrator command prompt: "netsh winsock reset" and then restart.
I did and that fixes the problem immediately.

I can only access certain sites, but most sites time out
I use a new computer, built it myself. All parts are new except the motherboard. As I said earlier, most of the sites don't work; they give me just a mistake: expired when using chrome or stalling just to "waiting for response.
What is more strange is that I have access to some sites, such as Google or Google sites (Gmail) and even some randomly as downforeveryoneorjustme.I know it's a mistake with the computer because I used the cables, ethernet, router, etc. on the computer before and it has worked well, and I hit this place on the same network. The ethernet port will Flash yellow/orange. I am currently using W7 Home.
Hello
(1) is this problem with all specific websites?
(2) what is the exact error code or you receive error message?
(3) have you made recent changes to the computer?
(4) is limited as well with Internet Explorer? If with Internet Explorer, what version?
You can try the following in the case if you encounter the same problem with Internet Explorer.
Method 1:
Run the fixit from Microsoft available in the article below and check if it works.

Method 3: why are some pages blank or incorrectly displayed in Internet Explorer 9? Some Web sites may appear to be blank or may not display correctly in Windows Internet Explorer 9. For example, certain parts of a Web page may be missing, information in a table can be in places badly or colors and the text may be incorrect. Some pages Web may not display at all.
If a part of the Web page is empty or does not display properly, try one or more of the following procedures from the link:

I was trying to set up a homegroup on my main computer, but on the second computer, I never had the opportunity to join the homegroup. I'm sure that I have everything set up properly, but I can't get the second computer to join.
I have a switch that my internet runs and a cat cable goes to each computer. Each computer can access the internet without any problem, but none appear in other network list. They have the same name of working group, I just can't understand it. I use Windows Firewall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe this can help.----------------------
Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.
Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.
Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.
Public share = network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions
General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .------------------------------
If your network consists only of Win 7 and you want a simple network, use it.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.
In the properties

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

* Note . There must be specific users. All means all users who already have an account now as users. This does not mean everyone who feel they would like to connect.

Can access virtual servers, but not the server host after vpn
When on the network, I can access the host server and all other virtual servers (virtualized with virtualbox). But when I connect with VPN I have no access to the main server, but I have access to any of the host servers - and I can get access to the main server of one of the host servers.
Where do I start looking?
using of 5505 and asa version 8.4 is (2).
The nat setup is like this:
3 (inside) (outside) static source any any static destination NETWORK_OBJ_10.10.10.0_28 NETWORK_OBJ_10.10.10.0_28 non-proxy-arp-search to itinerary
translate_hits = 0, untranslate_hits = 0
4 (inside) (outside) static source any any static destination NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.1.128_27 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.1.128_27 non-proxy-arp-search to itinerary
translate_hits = 0, untranslate_hits = 0
5 (inside) (outside) static source NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.1.0_24 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.1.0_24 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.254.0_28 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.254.0_28 non-proxy-arp-search of route static destination
translate_hits = 37, untranslate_hits = 63771
6 (on the outside) to dynamic interface of the NET-VPNPOOL source (outdoor)
translate_hits = 0, untranslate_hits = 0
On the host, I see that you have 2 default gateways configured. It can have 1 default gateway, and to the other interface, you must configure static routes for specific access.
The interface that needs to connect to the Internet should have the configured default gateway. The traffic that pass through the interface of the SAA should also go in and out the same set of interface, IE: If the host server connects to the interface via dmz out to the external interface, the return traffic must also go through this path, apart from the interface and return to the dmz interface.
