Can't access my computer vista laptop to network!

I have a network home, defined as follows: Vista desktop connected to the Linksys WRT54G V2 router by ethernet. Windows 7 laptop connected through WIFI; Windows XP connected by WIFI.  I'm trying to share desktop with other computers printer.  I can access the files on two laptops in my office, but I can't access the desktop of a laptop.  If I map network one laptop computers, he said that the office is there, but it won't let me access it.  The map shows a switch between the Vista desktop and the routher which I do not know what it is.  I followed all of the ideas that I can find to make sure that the permissions are correct.  Anyone have any ideas?

Hello

·        What security software do you use?

Ensure that the file and printer sharing are allowed through the firewall.

Check that network Vista share options are correct:

File sharing: on

Printer sharing: on

Password protected sharing: Off

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned in the articles below.
