Can't balance sound in Windows 7

_ Microsoft.  All audio devices from stereo was invented has a right/left balance on the front panel.  My hearing is to give to my left ear and what are you doing in Windows 7?  You hide the sound balance and do not put it in the accessibility features.   To adjust the balance I have to open the Panel configuration, hardware open and sound, manage audio devices, click the Read tab, click Properties, click levels, click balance and finally to adjust it.  It's 8 steps to do something which took a façade since stereo button control was invented.  Microsoft, how stupid can you get!

Hi HoppingBuffalo,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

You try to balance the sound every time that you restart the computer?

This is normal there is no settings button front for this control. You can try to adjust the sound balance by right-clicking the speaker icon on the right side of the monitor screen and select playback devices.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • Satellite P100: Black screen but I can hear the sound of Windows OS

    Hello

I have a problem on my Satellite p100.
I broke the screen or something!

When I start the computer I press the Start button and the laptop start normal. But the fact is that the computer starts but not the screen.

The screen is not from, but the computer does!
The screen is black, but I've heard say that im in windows beacause of the sound beginning...
    I didn't break the screen,

Can Some1 help me? Please, I beg you!

Maybe you accidentally switched the display on an external monitor?  :|
Have you tried to use the FN + F5 key combination to return the display on the laptop?

In addition, I would recommend linking the external monitor to the laptop to check if something appears on a second external display.

If this does not help with this strange problem I would recommend contacting the ASP in your country. Maybe, display works really bad and a very small part or whole LCD screen needs to be replaced

    Good luck

  • Can't hear sound in Windows 8

    Hello

I have Windows 8 and sometimes I can hear the audio on movies and videos, but other times I can't.  I uninstalled the driver seems to automatically reinstall itself, and I checked to see that it is up-to-date. What is so strange, is that I will restart the computer after I can't get audio, then I'll get it back, and then once I stop the video for a little, it won't, until, in other words, I do it all automatic uninstall reinstall again, then restart.

Is there anything else I can do?   All my videos and movies are played on office, not for apps starting tiles.

    Thank you
