• Can't change ringtone on Centro

  This problem started a few days ago.  I can set the ringer on my Centro what in the list and it saves the day, but no matter what I choose, the ringtone I get when a call comes in is the ringing of the alarm.  If I go back to the preferences of his that he still has my chosen ringtone settings - the settings are apparently just ignored.  Initially, he played a few other ringtone (that I forgot it) and I deleted this ringtone to try to solve the problem, but then it just took alarm.  I could remove alarm too, but it will most likely just choose another ring to get stuck on.  Removing the battery does not solve the problem.  Thanks for any help.

  When was the last time you hotsynced your device? The reason why I ask this is I want to suggest a hard reset as the first step to solve this problem.

  After HotSync to back up all of your PIM data, follow the directions for a Hard Reset here:

  After the Hard Reset, try to set ringtones before HotSync and restoring the information on your device. If the problem is resolved, hotsync and restore your device, and then try again. If after the restoration of your data that you have this probem again, then probably there is a problem with a program that you have installed on your device.

  Someone at - he saw this isssue - phone does not allow any other ringtone. When I choose a new ringtone and close the preferences, it is default to pre ringtone. How can I fix it? I turned phone couple of times without result.

  After clicking on the desired ringtone and a check mark shows next to him. Use the gesture back to return to the sound page, then close the page by dragging. If you swipe the card away when the ringtone list shows it won't save.

• I can't change my notification ringtones I tried everything and nothing works

  I put it on one of the tones that came with it, now it won't change anything, I put it on that. I put it on silent always get the same annoying tone.

  I installed ringo lite and implement but I now get the tone lite ringo I put and annoying tone of backflip.

  Please I need to fix this problem I can not have it go to work with that tone. I have to turn my phone works just to see if I misssed a call.

  Check if you set ringtones for specific contacts. A framework for a specific contact overrides the default setting.

  For the time being to uninstall all ring your apps Associates (including ringo lite).

  If you go to Menu-> settings-> sounds and ringtones-> Notification ringtone can't change the tone of your notifications?

  If you go to Menu-> settings-> sounds-> ringtone ringtones can change you the tone for your default ringtone?

  If this is not the case, try:

  Turn the phone off and then on again. You can change the tone now?

  With your phone, remove the battery, leave it for a minute, put the battery back and power on the phone. You can change the tone now?

  Hello all, new to the Board of Directors. I have a 8320 (ATT) who will not let me edit the MP3 for ringtones. I understand that Roxio for Blackberry has some disabled features, including the ability to edit. Oh, BTW I use BDM 4.5. What is the workaround? Should I install the full version of Muisc of Roxio Creator? What version did his evidence, 9 or 10?

  Absolutely:

  1. Select the profiles icon

  2. a box will appear where you can quickly choose between Loud, vibrate, quiet, normal, phone only, and outside. If you like quick-change device profiles and select the one you want and get out.

  3. If you want to change the tones assigned to the applications in the device, and then select the last option, advanced options
  (some older models and 'Advanced' OS 4.1 and below will not step - so advanced is not present go directly to step 4 below).

  4. Select the profile you want to change. (Loud, vibrate, quiet, Normal (default), phone only, Off)
  Note: on the 8100, 8800 and 8300 models: do not click on the trackball. Instead of this, click on the menu button to the left of the trackball).
  Note: The profile that is in use will tell: (active)

  5. you will now see a list of all applications that can have an assigned tone (browser, calendar, level 1 Messages, Messages ([email protected]), Messenger, MMS, phone, SMS, job ect..)

  6. Select the application you want to change the tone / notification for

  7. you can now edit the tones of the case and Holster / notifications.
  (a) select between: none, Tone, vibrate, vibrate + tone
  (b) select the range that you want to use
  (c) Select Volume (the options are mute, low, medium, high, climbing)
  (d) to select the number of beeps (the options are 1, 2, 3)
  (e) select Repeat Notification (options are None, flashing LED)
  (f) if value vibrator or vibrate + tone and select number of Vibrations (the options are 1, 2, 3)

  8. repeat a to e for each of the applications set out in number 5 above

  You will need to contact your carrier and see if they can change. There is no setting on the phone, only the owner can modify it, if they can. Not all carriers cannot change, and even if they can, it's a very short period. This has to do with the configuration of the call. At least you know that it's all the time and not the number of ringtones.

  Nothing shows up for me... the directory that appears is/home/user/music. In my view, the directory that needs to happen is/home/user/ringtones. There is a folder that contains the default pre-loaded ringtones.

  How can I change the /ringtones from /music directory?
