can't choose a WiFi network

Hi, did all the tests and have last operating ssystem, but when I go to settings/wifi the little star next to choose network starts but no network illustrated. Enter others in my own home wifi, and it doesn't. Help

Is this problem with your iPhone 4S and it runs iOS 9.2.1? If they are correct, this has always been a problem or recently upgraded operating system of the phone?

In system > Wi - Fi done any wireless network appears?

When choosing other..., under Choose a network, can you enter the name of your wireless network and choose the type of security? What happens then?

  • Officejet2630: Officejet 4630 can't find my wifi network

Recently moved and so got a new computer and a new internet provider. With the new internet provider comes a new router. When I try to connect my printer on the wifi network, I am unable to do so while it does not appear in the search results. So cannot be added to the network so cannot print using airprint or even via wifi... any suggestions? I tried to manually add the SSID, but again it is not picking it up. I'm at my wits end... any suggestions? !!

    Hello

    What router do you have?

If it is a Dual Band router, make sure to enable 2.4 GHz WiFi broadcast that the printer does not support a 5 GHz band, such a can prevent the printer to your network.

The wireless router is located between the printer?

If make sure that's not too far, but not too close, it is recommended to not place the printer less than 1 to 2 meters from the router...

  • Can't see some WiFi networks, while others may

This problem only occurs on the floor of a convention center (and it takes place in several events)

    (1) I see some networks, but not the designated convention center WiFi free

    (2) everyone around me (a few feet), automatically detects and connects to the network

    (3) I do my cell phone a hotspot.  I detect cela, but does not connect.

    (4) I go back to my hotel room, easily detect / connect to the wifi at the hotel, as well as easily detect / connect to the hotspot.

    I use Windows 7 Professional

Compare the networks that you can see with one of your colleagues.  You see them with the same signal strength?  If it is then maybe your ability to receive card WiFi is abnormal and the desired network arrives just in below the level that he can cope.

If this is the situation then search this forum, the support site for your computer manufacturer & their forums of users for your WiFi card.  See if other people have reported similar problems and how they fixed them.  If there is no guideline anywhere then reinstalling the card driver WiFi might be the first thing to try.

I made this suggestion because my card WiFi Dell Inspiron 1545 [Broadcom 1397] could never receive the same strength of signal to others could.  Several other users of Broadcom 1397 reported the same problem.  In this case, the solution was to uninstall Dell utility WiFi control then [Device Manager], select the WiFi card, look in its properties, driver tab and back the driver by default that came with Windows 7.  I don't pretend that your solution will be the same and I invite you to search for reports from other users.

  • HP 15-r099sm (Ralink RT3290 Wireless Adapter) can't find my WiFi network

I bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after that I restarted) it does not find my network. Also, sometimes he finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none, but it never shows mine.

All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect to the laptop via a cable internet Ethernet works normally. I tried to reinstall the card and the driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still there. What should I do?

    Hey xdujex,

    Indeed, it is quite confusing.

The only other things I could suggest would be to restore the laptop to until the problem started. I know your laptop is fairly new but it might help to avoid being without the unit while for repair isn't worth it.

If this does not work, you can try a system restore to wipe everything and see if the problem comes back. Save your information and give it a try.

If it does not solve the problem that the next step would be to ask the HP support by phone for service options. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here.

  • Printer HP Officejet 6100 (h611a) can not find the WiFi network

My printer HP Officejet 6100 has recently lost its eprint connection and would not reconnect.  I asked for help and told

try to use an IP address manually.  I tried this according to the instructions provided to me for the manual IP address, subnet mask and so on.  I selected apply.

The restarted printer and now the printer cannot be found or will not connect to my

    wireless network.

I tried to power on the printer, the modem and the router so that it would reset but the printer would not still find or connect to the wireless network.  The little blue light on the printer for wireless connection just continues to blink.

Because it connects to the wireless network I can not go back in the server web part to cancel the IP address manually and other changes.

Is there a way I can reset this?  Or get my printer to connect to the wireless network.

    Hello

As you mentioned that you are able to connect the Smartphone / I Pad to the wireless router, but the laptop that is running Windows 7 does not connect to the router.

  • How can I configure my wifi network to the big house?

We are in a House floor (including basement) large 4 4500 square feet.

Internet comes home in the basement.

From there I push a switch that distributes internet cable throughout the House.

Everyone has now 15 years later, wireless devices.

I have 5 Airport extreme, what is my best option to implement?

I want to have the name of a network and a password.

I would like to be able to move anywhere in the House and have internet without needing to connect to different networks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is the standard of roaming network.

Wi - Fi base stations: install and configure a roaming network (802.11 a/b/g/n)-Apple Support

Wi - Fi base stations: extend the reach of your network wireless by adding additional base stations Wi - Fi - Apple Suppo...

Apple does not seem to have a newer version... in order to take the principles that are simple.

Æ all have a simple base station name... I recommend names that are short without space and pure alphanumeric for everything... not to use apple recommended names in the utility.

    If you have AE1 - AE5.

All units to create a wireless network... (More.. important to create not extend).

    for example AEwifi

All units are configured with WPA2 Personal security and use same pure alphanumeric past 8 to 20 characters.

All devices are set to fill mode, except maybe the main unit being used as DHCP and NAT router.

Plug in ethernet in the appropriate floor and location.

You now have a roaming network... It works great to move home with laptops... It may work less well with phones and ipads... It's Apple's fault for not allowing the device swap "tours" like on the side of the 3 G... You may need to turn on/off the wireless. I hope that one of these days the problem will be corrected.

  • DROID: How to enter my 26 digit WEP code so I can get into my WIFI network? Not enough space.

It doesn't seem to be enough space to enter the WEP code. How he do?

  • HP deskjet 3055a: can't choose my network on the printer hp deskjet 3055a

I changed my router with an Apple Aiport Extreme 2nd generation but now I can't connect my printer to the wireless network: the integrated printer display does not provide a menu in which I could choose any wifi network. I have already connected this printer to the network even a couple of years ago, but at that time there I probably used the software from the cd provided, which is no longer compatible with OS X 10.10 Yosemite. I can not even find an update to this software on Hp.com, since he says that it is just enough to use the Apple driver for the use of the printer.

How can I configure wifi now?

    Hello

No matter which utility allows you to configure a wireless connection is avaialble ot for Yosemite, your router does support ot WPS as well.

To work around this and the pritner to connect to your wireless network, follow these steps:

    1. Press the wireless button, click the button next to settings, click the button next to the setting.
    2. Press the wireless button, click the button next to settings, then on the button next to Enable Wireless (if they are presented... so disable Wireless does not skip this step).
    3. Turn the printer and then on again once, make sure that the wireless is turned on the blue wireless light flashes.
    4. Since the Mac, click the WiFi icon, then join the other networks.
    5. Click view the networks and select the HP Deskjet 3055 rated network.
    6. Open Safari and go to http://192.168.223.1.
    7. Open the network tab, and then select wireless configuration wizard.
    8. Follow the steps to connect the printer to your wireless router, once you have completed the wireless light should turn on solid.
    9. Reconnect the Mac on your home network, and then add the printer under printers & Scanner by clicking the button "+" if it is not already listed.

Please let me know of any problems,

  • ATV4 is unable to see WiFi networks

Each time my new ATV4 (TvOS 9.2.1) will lose the WiFi connection. When I try to reconnect it "sees" no WiFi network at all. My other devices (MacMini and several iPhones and iPads, smart TV, etc.) have no trouble finding my WiFi network or those of my neighbours. The ATV4 is almost line-of-sight with and about 3 meters (10 feet) from my router. My other ATV4, which was originally two concrete walls, never loses the WiFi connection.

The new ATV4 always restarting fixes the problem, but it seems that I wouldn't restart the ATV so that he can see the available WiFi networks.

I'd be inclined to try somewhere else to try to determine if the problem is inherent or due to your environment.

  • My ipad cann't detect any wifi network. Please help me

My Ipad cann't detect any wi - fi network. I rest a network setting, press power and home button and reboot several times. But can't detect any wifi network. Please suggest what I can do.

Take a look at this Apple Support article:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204051

    Reset your network settings.

Settings - general - reset - reset the network settings

Reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  • Photosmart B 209 sees more WIFI network since I moved from WEP to WPA

My HP Photosmart worked fine until my ISP asked me to change the name of my WIRELESS network (which now includes the symbols underscore) and the type of protection increased from WEP to WPA... Paswword has not changed, it's just the type of protection

Since then, the printer can't see the WIFI network. I printed a network report and it says that I need to check that the network SSID & printers are the same...

My former network SSID is: Freebox and it has moved to: FREEBOX_BRUNO_DH.

Where is - this can be changed on the printer?

    Thanks for your help

    Concerning

Why your ISP dictates what will be the name of your SSID?   This is not good.   You can make your SSID name all you want, but I wouldn't use your ISP said.   This is YOUR network, do what you want.   Do the SSID and password for you.

If you are considering the inclusion of all of the available WiFi hotspots, you can't.

The data are known by the operating system, but currently it is protected by one or more permissions restricted such as 'configure_wifi '. Those who are not available to our applications.
