  Welcome to a whole world visible-to-peer forum where you have posted just personal information (unless someone else does it for you as a joke / cruel intentions) allowing anyone and everyone now having to do less social engineering on you to get valuable information that may not even have thought useful.

  Peer-to-Peer means that you complain to other people like you.  This isn't a direct line to Microsoft technical support.  It's just a place hosted by Microsoft that allows people who do not work for Microsoft (usually) to communicate with other people who do not work for Microsoft (usually), but use their products (in general) of their problems and experiences in the hope that all the problems that they may have witnessed and resolved and that they can get these solutions of othjers with more experience than them here.

  I suggest, if you posted the information over yourself, you CHANGE this assignment and get rid of privacy as soon as POSSIBLE.

  I was sorry to hear about your husband. To apply for his account to be closed, you should send an email to msrecord [at] microsoft [dot] com explaining the situation. They will need some documents to be able to move forward. Since you have access to the account, you may be able to follow the instructions on this page:

• WHAT I WANT TO DO IS TO DELETE ALL THE CONTACTS IN MY EMAIL OF A SUDDEN MSN ACCOUNT AND I CAN'T "DON'T DO IT!"

  I spent 45 minutes yesterday deleting 1350 all my contacts from MSN/Hotmail 25 at a time so that I could import a clean list today. I logged in and they are all back! Why! ? Why can't remove it at once? Why are they back? I looked in the c:\users\YourName\AppData\Local\Microsoft/Windows Live Mail (hidden folder) and removed everything inside and yet, contacts are still in my Hotmail.

  In addition, in the forums of serching in every sense, they say to follow: Tools-> Extra-> Options-> Advanced-> maintenance-> store folder
  There's no option 'Tools' or 'Extra' on my Windows Live page or any Windows Live page that I see.

  If I can't get an answer today, I guess I'll close my account and stay with Gmail. Absolutely ridiculous! Extremely frustrating that these sync with my Outlook, which syncs with all my other accounts (phone, etc.) and keep all screwing.

  Find the file c:\users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft/Windows Live Mail on my laptop in order to delete the contacts/files there - in. There is no, I have the folder is EMPTY,.

  WLMail contacts are in c:\users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts.

  As much as I know Outlook contacts does sync not with Live contacts.
