Can't comment on YouTube

After that Google has decided to implement Google + YouTube comments system, so I decided to go ahead and create the Google account. Once I did, I can't yet comment on YouTube. The profile picture that is located next to the "Share your thoughts" box does not show my image. By clicking on the box only created an empty window that popped up for about a half second and then went away, and I can't always type as if I never clicked on the box at all. I managed to copy the URL that appears in the window, but to open it in a new tab gives me only a blank page.

I've confirmed that this is a problem with Firefox, because when I go to IE, YouTube allows me to make comments very well as it is supposed to. I also tried everything with it, including Firefox: clear the cache and cookies, disabling modules, end the session and log back and start in safe mode. Everything I tried gave the same result, just a fraction of second window empty whenever I want to comment or post a reply.

Adds your exceptions for cookies from Google.com and youtube.com and you should be fine. You need these exceptions with 3rd party cookies set to 'never'. If you have it set to "always", then switch to 'never', while on youtube, you will receive a message "you have been logged out."

  • I am unable to respond to the comments of youtube on Firefox (I checked and have this same problem on Internet Explorer, but can it on Chrome). Help.

Hi guys, I may make comments of youtube, but am unable to respond to them (and not to others, not to those who responded to my comments, not even to my own comments) on Firefox (or IE), but can do on Chrome. The reply button is there and I am able to click on it, and when I click on it the normal 'answer box' is displayed, but the cursor is not displayed and I am not able to type in the answer box. I guess it seems almost as if the response box is not load completely? I don't know what the issue is and cannot be found in the online help. What is cache memory? I emptied recently however (because of other problems, I got on youtube, not that it helped).

When I want to make a comment on Youtube of a video, I get a flash of a page that I can't make out and I can not even make a comment in the text box.  Each time, click on the comment box to write a comment, I get this flash of a certain type I can see momentarily is Google + page, but there are no upward long enough to do more than that. If anyone has experienced this?  The comment box that I would write as a comment in seems to become a link - my cursor turns into a hand (apparently telling me that the comment box all is a link). • can't comment on a blog that has an embedded comment form

I can't comment on a blog that has a form of commentary incorporated; for example, www.blogger.com and www.blogspot.com.

Apparently, this has been a problem between Firefox and Google for over a year with no final resolution.

I did have the opportunity to try comments on blog Blogger or Blogspot, so I checked some recent discussions on this. I didn't know anything about it other than to accept cookies third party confirmed.

You listed several add-ons that may have their own restrictions on cookies separate. This verified?

    • BetterPrivacy 1.48.2 "Super Cookie Safeguard."
    • Ghostery 2.2.1
    • Allow Cookies 0.6.2

To see if a plain vanilla Firefox installation works, as a diagnosis, you can create a new (empty) profile: profile management. Do not use it in the future, but if you can comment in a default configuration, it is probably an add-on causing the problem.

  • Can I embed a YouTube video in a Pages document?

Can I embed a YouTube video in a Pages document?

No, because the Pages is a word processor, not a web browser and does nothing with the HTML embed code.

You can assign the URL of a Youtube video as a web of text link in your Pages document. He survives export and will open a new browser window/tab for play.

Although the ' 09 v4.3 and v5.6.1 Pages will allow you to insert local video compatible QuickTime in the respective Pages document, it will play only in the document Pages. Export to Word or PDF result in a video unread, seen in preview or Adobe Reader DC LibreOffice.

  • Can't download videos youtube via realplayer plus?

Original title: why I can't download videos youtube via realplayer plus? I've updated everything that is not automatic, but still no joy.

I am running windows 7, and initially it would allow me to download through realplayer, then slowly was arrested and now stopped altogether downloads. My adobe Flash Player updates automatically, and I manually checked all of my Add-ons of realplayer. I know that it is probably dead simple, the problem is so I am.

    Hello

I suggest you for this post in the support forum for Real player.

  • Can I create a PDF document that can be commented by others using the PLAYER

I have dozens (hundreds?) of PDF books I bought. One who created made them if anyone using Adobe Reader 5 or can be done better highlights and comments on the text.  I use the function to correct typos and send to the Publisher. I know this is possible because I've done it for several years before I ever get Adobe Standard.

So... My question is... How can I create documents like this that can be placed in the comments on the use of Adobe Reader? I have Adobe 8 Standard and I don't see this as a separate Adobe Pro feature. and I hope Miss me just instructions on how it's done. I don't have any problem to do what I want to use Adobe 8 Standard, but I need to be able to make it feasible in Reader so that others can make comments in my documents.

Thank you for taking the time...

'Enable usage rights in Adobe Reader' or "Extend the functionality of Adobe Reader"
are available with Acrobat 8 Professional / 3D version 8 or Acrobat Professional / Pro Extended respectively.
In addition, Adobe provides basic service (LiveCycle ES) server that "active / extends" PDF as Adobe Reader can be used for observation, examination, Digital Signature, etc..

You can use Adobe Reader to comment on PDF files means a requests above were used.
Because you mentioned that PDFs are purchased the manuals in PDF format, I suspect that LiveCycle ES was used.
This application based on the server (which has a myriad of 'modules' available) is expensive so, in general, it is allowed by the companies that need its features. Examples: the majors publishers or Government agencies (e.g., IRS).

If you move upward, to Acrobat Professional, that you will be able to "extend features in Adobe Reader ' such that others can run comments & reviews on your PDF documents.

As Acrobat 9.x is the current version, marketed as the professional version would be made available via an upgrade (do not be confused with the free "updates").

    Be well...

  • I can't post comments on YouTube with Firefox more, but can be downloaded on IE. Problem intermittent, some videos that I can post to.

The comment box is gray on videos a lot, but not all. The problem is only on FireFox; I go to the same videos on IE and don't have no problem posting comments. I have Windows 7 Edition home premium service pack 1 64-bit. The problem is new, working fine until a few days ago. I refreshed Firefox to default settings, been through the menus help Youtube and help Firefox.

Thank you, clear your cookies for YouTube did the job.

  • Can not play any YouTube video or even get YouTube to the charge with any video

If I try to load videos hosted on YouTube, they won't charge, they will not show even a placeholder to show that something should be there. If I go on YouTube, the site does not load with any video. All I get is a list of links to subscribed channels and my account and all these nonsense, nothing that looks even remotely like a video. This occurred only since 28 beta 2 has been installed.

If you use extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) which can block content (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

  • I can't log my YouTube account?

Because I installed Firefox on my PC more than a month ago, I cannot access my YouTube account and is unable to watch the videos there. I get an error message saying connect to this site (something like that) has failed, you can "try again" it again. Nothing come of it when I try again. It's very frustrating and I am close to give up Firefox as a result. Help, please.

Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are not sent or otherwise blocked.

If clearing cookies doesn't work, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other files to present as cookie cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.
