The Addons.Mozilla.Org site uses a different record / separate and the login Support.Mozilla.Org to use (this Web site and the knowledge base). Requesting password resets. If Mozilla, reset you your password for this site most likely like Thunderbird has no password. Or Thunderbird issue passwords or e-mail accounts. Your email provider, however, provide passwords to your e-mail accounts. Can you implement your existing email accounts in Thunderbird and get them to send and receive mail? Without any reference to PGP.
PGP I suppose is the add-on of enigmail for Thunderbird, which is supported by https://www.enigmail.net/support/ although you will struggle more than a little with it, I think. If you have the WebPg for Mozilla it is supported by https://webpg.org/ here
